Deide71---$85-$10695-120-SSR-Dec-0/15, 35/16, 105/17, 120/18- sent 5/26

This will bring us up to a total of 270 SSR points and 75 Poly. I do a biannual spring break trip with my boys to the Poly, DH refuses to go because he will not stay in a studio. He prefers 2 bedrooms at Saratoga Springs or Old Key West or Kidani (in that order)...me I love the Wilderness Lodge but I just can't pay more for 15 fewer years on the contract.

I am so annoyed and confused so maybe you guys can help me understand this situation. As of 5/11 I signed my contract, gave my deposit, got everything settled and was told by my agent that I would be notified as soon as Disney let her know about ROFR. So I have been waiting impatiently for three full weeks. I just got an email from the company stating that they just sent the contract to Disney today and Disney has 30 days for ROFR. Of course I was completely confused and emailed asking what was the three week hold up. Apparently the seller's wife only just agreed to sign yesterday. However, I was NEVER told this for the past three weeks! Is this standard practice? I understand it is what it is but I would assume they would of let me know that there was a hold up for 21 full days instead of just not mentioning anything at all and have me waiting thinking I'm only a few days away from a ROFR decision. I am a member already but only have bought direct before so this whole process is new to me. So I guess I am back to the drawing board and back to Day 1 of ROFR. =(

Wow! on both of the resale contacts we bought our broker kept us up to date on when contract to seller was sent, when they signed etc. my thoughts are your broker dropped the ball and should have let you know after a few days that they were waiting on the seller and not keep you guessing. Maybe call them and ask why you were kept hanging for so long.
