Curious to know how many are flying to Disney or driving?

This will be my 7th Trip to Disney and have drove each time except in 2015 when it was just me and my husband we decided to try flying. That was my first time flying anywhere. This year we are flying for the 2nd time (it is just ME DH, DS and DGS who will still be under 2 when we fly so he is free) we like the idea of only taking about 2 hours to get there versus 14 to 16 driving. This will be my DS and DGS first time flying. I wish we could fly with my whole family but it cost over 2500 to fly us all out there and that is pricing it at the low end last year it was going to be around 3500 to fly ME, DH, DS, DGS, DD,her Finance, DD and DS two best friends. We fly Southwest.

Flying from Phila.

Going Sept 23-29 and looking for a Be Our Guest reservation for our party of 6! If anyone is dropping one I'd appreciate a heads up!

We drive from south west Alabama its about 8 hours including the 1 hour time change.

We live in Alabama, drive to Atlanta and stay with family then fly out from there! We use Southwest and buy our tickets when they drop to the $49-53 range!

10 park days and 4 rest days :). We did a few 1 week trips in the past and were too sad to leave each time lol

4 rest days is a good thing with a vacation that long. We have 2 rest days for our 10 day stay and I think it kind of is the minimum. There might be a 3rd rest day in there... or just a "lazy river day."

For sure. We do a rest day after 2 days of parks. We did 5 park days in a row on our first trip and I was about to die. Hahah

Hi, Everyone! First time on the DIS (Use to TGM it). Staying September 16-27 at AoA in a Lion King Suite. Family of 5, with DW, DD (13, 10) & DS (8). We alternate park and resort days so doing just 5 park days this go around.

Driving from Indiana. 18 hours roughly. Breaking our journey in Valdosta, Georgia.:moped:

I used to ride in the car when my parents would drive. It's not as bad as people make it out to be... but you just have to plan ahead for traffic & pit stops so you don't want to choke each other by the time you arrive.

I'm flying as well, but we will be taking a car from the airport to our resort. I don't really like the wait times associated with the Magical Express going to the resorts.

Has anyone started to think about their AK touring plans with Pandora being open? I have tried to avoid reading too much because I don't want to have too many surprises spoiled but have started to try and figure out how best to tackle it. I've already planned 2 visits to AK while we are there but not sure about dropping back there in the evening. What is everyone else thinking?
