DECEMBER 2017 DISCOUNTS AND CODE WATCH

Yeah, no help here either. Was holding off on booking Swolphin on points for our first 4 nights. Think I'll pull that trigger now.
 
We are hoping to stay at the WL in late November/early December. They couldn't apply the discount to the room we have booked. As others have said, it seems that only the most premium rooms are part of the deal. Bummer.
 
No rooms available with the discount at any of the value resorts during my stay. :(:mad::worried:
 
I was not able to apply it either. Do you think that availability of the hotels will open up around the time that people need to pay for their packages in full, ie canceled trips? Would the discount be available to apply then? It's kind of irritating that there is a discount that is not available to use for the majority.
 
We have been trying for end of November/ begin December and willing to spend rack rate and still can't find rooms - wth is going on that week and look later December and same thing no availablity
 
I just looked at December 2-6. Epcot resorts showing little availability at $600+ per room. When you click on that, those rooms aren't even there. $1500+ rooms show up. Crazy.

It might be adding tickets. When I checked on my iPhone it kept automatically adding tickets. ?
 
It looks like my reservation is eligible for the discount....I'm on MDE and I can hit change reservation and the cheaper price shows up. I hit select but it won't let me "check out" with the new rate.....:(

Maybe some opening, but wouldn't expect much and yes, could theoretically apply the discount

I've noticed that happens a lot - either nothing shows up when you click through or rooms at a much higher rate. Very annoying.

I've noticed this in the past few weeks even when searching for rooms without a discount/promo applied. Seems to be a glitch in the booking website somehow.

Last booking day for free dining was November 27. Sure that has a big impact.
 
Stupid me. I've been in the boards this whole weekend in the d23 thread and missed the promotion. On phone now with 45 minute wait. When did it come out?
 
I booked akl purposely because they have so many rooms and normally don't book up. Figured I can get a promotion if it comes out but now I'm starting to worry. I am willing to move up to savannah or pool view if it gives a small discount or evens out. Being cheap too with the 20% instead of 30% and beach club only at 10%. O swear I read that Disney lost money this quarter with lower attendance. I guess not!

Keep us updated on what they say on the phone. I am booked at AKL too and wasn't able to add the discount to my reservation online this morning. :(
 
Ok...after a 50 minute wait...got a CM who sez there is glitch in the system and even they can't book this new "holiday" offer...sez to try back in a few hours? Has anyone else heard this? Seriously...50 minutes later, I'm back where I started....
 
Wait!!! The CM decided to try to book it...and WOW! She said her pixie dust is working...looks like the system is fixed. She was able to apply the new holiday discount, saving me $167.00 per night! Yeah! So go forth everyone....if your room is available for the discount, the system should allow you to change it. Good Luck!
