***Officially Official September 2017 Thread***

Just of MDE and changing my FP to now include Mission Space, yeah I was so bummed it would be down when i was there....anyway, just thought I would say that it really sucks that Test Track, Soarin and Frozen Ever After are all on the same tier. So here is my plan, input your opinions please....

Rope Drop Epcot at 9am
Run to Soarin
FP for Nemo from 9:10-10:10 (so do as soon as I am done Soarin)
Mission Space FP 10-10-11:10
Head over to Test Track and do single rider lane (I am going solo)

Frozen Ever After FP at 1:50 so there is time after Test Track for Spaceship Earth and lunch at Season's...my fave place to eat in Epcot. yum!

Doable???

Yeah I won't likely get back till 2021 :(
Yeah I feel you, me either :sad1:. I'd like to get back there for the 50th but that depends on a lot of things. There's no real vacation set there after this September so it's possible it could be 2022,2023 or beyond before we go again (I've only gone about every 6 yrs anyways). But I get you, it seems like a random time to take them out.

Us too. We're buying a house next year, and DH says this is the last trip for a while. I'm hoping to own DVC before we go back...

I plan on being fully retired next year so if I can pull this trip off with burning everyone out I hope to make it a yearly event. I would like to go when the Christmas decorations are out.

My plan is for the 50th but maybe earlier in the year although I don't want to miss the celebrations so we'll see, I want to add in one of the short Cruises too. I want to make it to Disneyland for 2019, I need to get a new job because I'm not earning enough to keep this yup, I was doing ok got made redundant and got another job which I like but not enough hours or pay to keep me there long term - end of year bonus that gets paid out next should get me to Disneyland Paris though so that helps.

Yeah just like lets shut down Splash Mountain when the weather is still warm, excluding DLR I haven't done Splash Mountain for 6 years.

Awh, well a house is important, that's another thing I need to try an make happen. Oooh DVC that would be cool.

Oh yeah throughout various threads I've commented about the Splash refurb. Explanation given that it was done to get ready for the 50th and was pushed to the seemingly worst time (ok ok so I guess they could have done it in June/July but still..) so that something else could be refurbed around the normal Jan/Feb time that Splash would have gone down if this was ordinary refurb schedule (or at least that is the thought).....still makes me :sad:

In all the jobs I worked I couldn't have December holidays, in my new one November is out as well. I got special permission to got out to LA for New Years one time in one of my old jobs and I got to see the Christmas decorations in January at DLR. Looked so lovely, sadly I didn't get to do the Jingle Cruise. I would love to do the Christmas party. If I get a regular job I might be able to go to Disneyland Paris for a Christmas trip at least. My birthday is in December, would love to have my birthday in Disney.

This trip was a total last minute surprise. We were saving to go next year. After this trip I think the plan is to save up for the 50th and add a cruise. With 4 years to save, I'd like to take one of the longer cruises too.
