What service? I think we'll have to get a town ad cause we're so far from the airport, but I'm hoping to find a shuttle.

Waited on hold for JetBlue for 15 minutes and they assured me our seats were still there. Just to not showing on the website?! yeah that would be me too. I hate having all my ducks in a row and then someone comes along and kicks one into the sewer. It's so frustrating. DH doesn't understand why I get so upset....but then HE'S not the one wrangling all those ducks!

I don't understand why they can see it but you can't. I would check every day!

My son turned one right after Xmas last year so for his party we bought a 4 foot Mickey Mouse balloon. I blew it up with air this morning and he runs from it, I mean to the other side of the house runs from it. Why do I have this strange feeling the Mickey Breakfast is not going to go as well as I hoped. I should not be surprised since he was deathly scared of pumpkins last year for his 11 month old pictures. We took him to a fall festival and it did not matter the size he would freak out if you put him near a pumpkin. Santa's lap was a no go too.

My daughter was absolutely terrified of an Elmo balloon like that, too. She also does not like santa. I was nervous that she wouldn't like the characters at Disney...she LOVED them. She ran up to them and gave them hugs and wanted to meet every character she saw. I wouldn't give up hope yet!

Anyone get their room requests when doing online check in? I am considering calling or requesting as close as possible to main hall and courtyard facing as I am a solo female traveller, travelling solo first time in my entire life and prefer not facing the forest or parking lot. Do you think I would get it if I do online check in or should I call and have the request added to my reservation? I am arriving at 10:30 am so I think if I get put far off, in a remote area i can request a move. I usually book preferred but there was none available and I have been checking daily since free dining started and nothing...I am staying at AS Music. Previously stayed there, checked in at 10am and when we arrived we got upgraded to a suite instead of preferred which was amazing. Thoughts? online check in or call and add notes to reservation???

I did the online check in the other day, mainly by accident but whats done is done. I could request a specific building, floor level and preferred check in time but that was about it. No place for notes as I recall. I called the main desk and they said any special notes to the reservation had to be done thru the reservation line. She transferred me I stayed on hold for over 15 minutes and then I just hung up. I just wanted to add a note that it was a first visit and could I get the buttons at the front desk at check in. I know we can get them so it was not a life changer.

That reminds me that I need to call the barber shop and make an appointment to get my sons first hair cut at Disney World!!!

I can see my request on MDE, but no special notations. I was told I had to call too. I agree that sitting on hold forever stinks! And then there is really no guarantee that you will get what you request. It's just a request and they will try their best.
They always have the buttons at the front desk when we check in. I love seeing others faces when they get them!
We did the barbershop years ago. Not sure if you can make a reservation ahead of time. We had to go there and write our name on a chalkboard and wait.

We live right around 40-45mins from the airport.

Our flight to WDW is at 7:10 and we'll be getting up earlier than I had wanted (only by about 20mins or so)for that one as we now have to drop off the car at the Parking Spot and take the quick shuttle to the terminal instead of being dropped off at the terminal by the in-laws like we had originally planned (they are now going to be out of town on the day we leave).

But in October we have a 5:50am flight to Vegas. My mom is going with us and her house is somewhat on the way to the airport (it's a different way than normal but it still works) but we'll be at her house at like 3:45-4am :faint: and then it's a 30-35min drive from her house but it takes 20-25mins to get to her house. Sooooo We'll be getting up at like 2:30am-2:45am.

It's not abnormal for my husband and I to need to wake up early like that for flights but boy it still doesn't make it any easier. We don't have kids yet soooooo yeahhh.

They gave I want to say a few day's notice for extending it beyond first part of July (I believe so but I could be wrong on how much advanced notice they gave).

I hope they do extend it a bit at least, sunset is around the 7pm/7:30pm mark in September and with RoL at around 8pm or so it doesn't leave much time to see Pandora at night or explore the rest of AK at night. I think I penciled in 10 minutes before closing to go and take pictures in Pandora. :lmao:

Oh I hear you and I agree with you. Furthermore I hope they extend it to cover the night I have at Pandora :rotfl:. There was talk on the Pandora thread of whether they would extend it and if they did would or would they not have it nightly. *I'm hoping for nightly but I just don't want to get too much hope YKWIM?*
