These are the misting fans we are bringing. Small, light, has a carabiner to attach to anything, easy to refill. And they were only about $5 at Walmart. Runs on 1 AA battery. The batteries usually last the whole week. And we didnt have to refill them constantly. We've been using the same set for quite a few years.

Do you get in camping section? Plan to go look for these - finished prepacking & have a few items to pick up when we get paid Friday.

Walt Disney World Resort roadways just got a little more fun, with the launch of a new transportation pilot called Minnie Van service. Announced earlier this month at D23 Expo 2017, this new transportation service is now available for guests staying at Disney’s BoardWalk Resortand Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts.

Through a collaboration with the US’ fastest growing rideshare service, Lyft, guests at these resorts can arrange their own private Disney vehicle right from the Lyft app on their smartphone. With Minnie Van service, Disney cast members will then whisk you away to wherever you want to be at Walt Disney World Resort. This service accommodates up to six guests and provides two versatile car seats so even the tiniest of passengers can travel in style!

Minnie Van service will be available between 6:30 a.m. and 12:30 a.m. (subject to change). Guests staying at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort and Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts can learn more by visiting their Bell Services desk. I heard they were 20 bucks a ride.

Thanks for the reply. I've read the "latest" posted updates, but it seems no one has posted about these since July 31 or Aug 1. I was hoping someone would have detailed them more since they've been officially running for about 2 weeks now. I'm hoping they are available at Poly by September 2. It'd be interesting to know the consistency of timing, how early does one really need to "call for one" via Lyft. Did they make it to where one can call for 2 for parties larger than 6....and many other details.

I may just stick with normal Uber/Lyft for times we need them, but I like the idea of the Minnie Vans.

I think they were in the section where they sold all of the regular fans. They were on a back wall.

Going September 3rd - 8th - last minute solo trip - staying at POR . Booked a little over 30 days out - got all the FP I wanted except FOP ( no surprise there) . Looking forward to some F & W and MNSSHP!

Must be the day from the looks of things because guys look what just came for me . I may have jumped up and down a few times when I saw the mailman ~No judging pwease ~:






Husband isn't home yet so he hasn't tried his on yet. He looked at the colors and decided he wanted purple. I was really hoping they would release a solid teal colored band but alas they did not. I'm not wanting to spend more $ at this time to get the special MBs (which some have the teal colors). Currently I put the setting on the very last hole of the outer grey band part and the first hole of the inner blue band part. I'm not sure that I want to tear the outer part of the band off yet to make it smaller;I think I want to see what it's like when I'm at WDW if having the extra long part of the outer grey band part irritates my skin since it's wrapped around my wrist in order to make it smaller.

Here's the travels it took. It seems it can be a hotbed topic on the paths the MBs take to get to your house based on some of the threads here on the DIS:


They were shipped on Thursday August 10th at 5:00pm out of Davenport, FL and arrived at my house on Monday August 14th at 2:30pm. I watched the mailman deliver the box-Technically the package was brought to our front door though the mailman could have put it in the large package mail slot and left the key for us if he wanted to. He delivered it with our normal mail as I assumed it would be. The expected deliver date on MDE was listed at August 15-17th so we got them 1 day early

I'm jealous of all the Magic Bands that have arrived. I received an alert this morning that mine were delivered to the wrong post office and will now take a few extra days to be delivered. Today is bumming me out with that and the confirmation of the end of Express Transportation. Oh well. In 21 days I will be in Disney World and that is the important thing!

That is a good way of looking at it. I'm wearing mine right now. Just got it, but discovered missing a tag, well the tag that attaches the luggage tag.
