OFFICIAL NOVEMBER 2017 THREAD

I love that he's wearing it!!!

I had a heck of a time getting it off of him to go to sleep. I have it put in the luggage now, hopefully he will leave it be. It was all he could 'talk' about yesterday which is saying something since he is 80% non-verbal.

Ok guys, 34 days to go! Went through all my daughter's tee shirts and put them aside. Started packing our hotel room needs. Customized the MBs. Finalized spread sheet AND Character Locator.

AND BOOKED OUR SEPTEMBER 2018 TRIP!!

Year of Disney here we come!!!!

Wow!!! You are way ahead of me...I need to get on the ball!!!

AND BOOKED OUR SEPTEMBER 2018 TRIP!!

Year of Disney here we come!!!!

Very productive Disney day for you. I only made a list and on my list was a list of lists I need to make. Hope you can follow that. I think I will pay for the dining plan today so I can easily check something off.

That's awesome!

My magic bands have shipped and should be arriving in the next couple of days!! Hopefully I’ll receive my luggage tags soon! I booked my airfare separately and totally forgot to book ME until I saw it on here (so thank you to everyone who posted about getting your luggage tags!). Hopefully I’ll get those soon too!
Has anyone had any problems with luggage and ME? Last trip I arrived at MCO around 5 and it took forever to get our luggage (I was able to track my luggage on my app and the airline said it had arrived at MCO so I know it was on our flight). We called a few times to approve them delivering it after hours but we didn’t get it until after midnight, closer to 1am, if I remember correctly. This trip we arrive around the same time but don’t want to have the same problem. I’m hoping it was a fluke thing because I love that convenience of ME.
Lots of little things to do before we leave. Getting even more excited!

I only had ME deliver my luggage on one trip and it worked out fine that trip. But to be honest, we arrived really early and went to the park before our room was ready so I really have no idea when my luggage actually arrived. Last trip we didn't put the ME tags on our luggage and picked it up to the airport then took it to ME ourselves because we landed after 8. This trip I'm not sure if we'll grab the luggage ourselves or let ME get it. We arrive around 6:30 pm. I'd rather have ME deliver it but the only hang us is that we're at POP for one night and then move to the Boardwalk so I'd rather have our luggage in our room when we land.

I just realized they aren't doing Once Upon a Time during our visit in November. I guess I was thinking HEA was the projection thing, not just fireworks. Now I'm bummed. We are doing the dessert party too so I hope it isn't a waste :(

ETA: Ok now I just read the description of both and am thoroughly confused. Which is which and what's the difference?

Is there a list of the days it's happening? I'm confused about it also.

I thought Once Upon a Time was a show that played before HEA but now I'm not so sure. You can go on the Disney site and look up the showtimes for your dates.

Happily Ever Ever is the big fireworks show that replaced Wishes. It has plenty of projections, more than Wishes had. It also has fireworks, but it seems like there are not as many fireworks as Wishes had. This is a nice show. :)

Once Upon a Time is a little projection show with a few fireworks that they show later in the evening, sometime after HEA. We've never seen it.

I checked the November calendar and they don't have any times listed for Once Upon a Time. They won't show it on party nights but maybe they will add on other nights later.

Ok thanks so HEA is what I was thinking it was. Sorry about that! But thanks!

Thanks! I think we’ll just play it by ear and if it arrives late then it arrives late :)

Gotta love those AP’s :woohoo:

We purchased AP’s for our trip last November followed by trips in March, May and now this November :cool1:

View attachment 276162 23 more days!!!

Our magic bands arrived yesterday and my son was over the moon excited!!!

Still no luggage tags...

Not to question you but make sure you check the box and take it apart

Last year our luggage tags were underneath the whole time and found them after WDW sent us new ones

They like to hide the AP band attachments in there as well

So so so hoping to see some extended November hours in the next few days! Even an hour later on some of our nights would be great!
Me too! I wish AK and MK were scheduled to be open later, especially with the crowds they’ve been having. I’m getting worried it’s going to be crowded and we’ll still have earlier park closings :/

Holiday filming for ABC specials to take place early November at Walt Disney World

http://www.wdwmagic.com/events/holi...place-early-november-at-walt-disney-world.htm

Filming at Walt Disney World will take place November 3 - 7 2017. Like last year, no parade will be filmed at Walt Disney World, but stage show performances including musical acts will be filmed in Florida. The parade will be filmed at Disneyland Resort in California.

44 days out! Has anyone else noticed that there are ROL Dining Packages that have "First Viewing" attached to the description? This leads me to believe that a second ROL show is going to be made but when you check the calendar, it still only has 6:30 listed.

I stopped by the Dollar Tree yesterday and found pop up hampers for dirty clothes, baggies for packing the kids for each day, glow necklaces, swords, and wands for when it gets dark, and Mickey and Friends and Disney Princess journals to use for autograph books, as well as jumbo Mickey and Friends and Disney Princess pens for autographs. I went in for gift bags and came out spending about $12 on Disney also. Saved a ton! My kids are 6 and 4 so they don't care if items say Official Disney or anything. So if there is anyone out there looking for some items on a budget.
