Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

Has anyone stayed at Polynesian during 4th of July? Do they do anything special in the lounge that day? I know about the fireworks just wondering if they had anything a little extra special?

Hi there. A bit late to your post but also wanted to echo @DisneyCowgirl’s excellent response. We did 7/4 last year. Evening apps were mini hot dogs in a bun (actually more like a brat on a bun... it wasn’t quite a brat but not a hot dog either - something in between); mini cheeseburger sliders; and chicken salad on a bun. Probably some other stuff I’m not remembering. Typical fixin’s and toppings as well.

And not that I was paying close attention, but there was plenty of cold beer too. :-)

The offerings weren’t over the top special, but it was a nice touch. Decorations were tasteful and the vibe was a lot of fun! We loved it.

My aunt and I will be at BWI, arriving the week after Thanksgiving! She has never been during the holiday season. I a must so excited for her to see WDW all dressed up for the Holidays :goodvibes
I so understand. I took mom to bwi 11/29-12/1 last year. She just wanted to look at the decorations and didn't care for rides.

She loved the tree and set up in the lobby at bwi too.

Don't forget to show her all the fun holiday desserts!

So very excited, I now have 2 rooms booked for December 5-12 at the BWI Club Level for my husband and me along with my nephew and his family from California! I am so happy to show them my happy place and let them see why I love the BWI so much. His 2 children will love it. This was the best pixie dust I have ever had happen for me in a long time and I know it will be a wonderful trip for them. They sure deserve it.
Sounds wonderful! No doubt about it, I agree BWI CL is such a treat. :flower: We have reservations for BWI CL Nov 29-Dec 7th. It's a first for us to be there during the holidays, can't wait! :sunny:

Thanks for that extra information. I am glad to see there are a few extra little items. We usually celebrate with a big bbq at home with family and friends and yes cold beers too!!so at least we won’t feel too bad about missing all that ! Did you watch the fireworks on the beach? If so, what did you think?

We watched both nights from our room since we had a TPV room. I use these pics below a lot, but it pretty much sums it up to me. Awesome!

For the 7/3 and 7/4 shows they use that island launch point in the middle of the 7 Seas Lagoon (in addition to the regular MK locations) so it really makes for great viewing from Poly.

They pull the EWP barges up in front of Poly (you can see below) and play the music from there as well, which is good because there were a few issues with Poly audio at the time, which I think have been fixed now.

Here's a pic of the reserved CL viewing area, which is pretty much prime.

My one complaint with the show... it's a bit short. Like 14ish minutes. Compared to something like HEA (18 minutes), the show itself left me wanting more. But - beggars can't be choosers - it's still a great show.

Pictures look great! Thanks. We had to change our dates because of school so while we will end up getting to stay to see the July 4th fireworks, we had to give up TPV in club level because it wasn’t available. So sad about that but very happy to be there of course! I would have loved to watch from our own private balcony/ patio though! But as you said beggars can’t be choosers

Cool, thanks. Seems like a number of DISers will be doing Poly around 7/4 this year. Hope you have fun! With the exception of a few minor nits, it really is a great time. :-)

That is so sweet. We brought 3 different sets of friends/family to the BWI CL and they all loved it. We love bringing people there. I am sure your nephew and family will love it too. Enjoy!

We stayed at BWI this past December and loved the holiday decorations. Don't miss out on the other deluxe resorts decorations too. We actually visited all the resorts to collect holiday pins but the deluxe ones were the best.

Doing split stays in August. Starting at Dolphin in one of their CL rooms. Then CR TPV CL for 2 nights! :cool1: Last night at AKKV.
First time at CR and CL. Very excited.
I originally booked using the summer discount, but while cleaning my desk this am, I found a mailer from Disney for a code so I called in, and she applied it to my CR stay, saved me an addtl 100.00.
It's like finding a 100 bill. :goodvibes I mean, lets be honest, it'll end up in Disney hands one way or the other, but right now I feel better. ::yes::

SO, my dates at CR CL:
August 16-18 TPV atrium CL

Excited to watch HEA from our room instead of fighting the crowds this trip!

Congrats on the additional discount! Sounds like an awesome trip, hope you have a great time :wizard:.

My next dream is to visit during the Christmas holidays.

As others have posted, Disney during Christmas time is amazing! Everything is very festive and beautifully decorated. Hope you are able to one day experience a holiday trip :goodvibes.

We have reservations for BWI CL Nov 29-Dec 7th. It's a first for us to be there during the holidays, can't wait! :sunny:

You will love it! Enjoy the planning, hope you have a great time :).

I never get tired of seeing them :cloud9:.

I believe they're shutting the entire building; no reservations at Sugar Loaf for (I think) all of June, July and August. Must be one heckuva renovation! But since they're closing it entirely, I wouldn't expect RPC to be any more crowded.

I found outer building club level for end of Aug. are they redoing the rooms too or just the club room?

Happy Saturday club goers! So much to catch up on after a week or so.

@GADisneyDad14 love that you’re loving AKL. There’s just so much to love.

Look at @trishadono and @Eastern scoring PINs. Money in the bank!

@mickeynut1 your girls trip has got to be coming up soon. Exciting. @TheFloatingBear you’re getting close, but not close enough too right. I always think of dancing bears with your username.

I need to take another pass at the last 6 pages or so. I could have sworn I saw someone post about the 90 day fast passes that didn’t make their non CL 3 then. Was anyone able to have DSS book both CL and regular at 90 days.

Thanks for checking in - and I do love to dance! :dogdance: My username actually is a reference to an A.A. Milne Winnie the Pooh story, "In Which Piglet is Entirely Surrounded by Water!" "The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" remains my DS13's favorite ride, lol!

Yes, I'm supposed to leave Friday. What is it about a trip - I find that it seems so far away, and then when you hit about a month away, time speeds up and I'm like - slow down, I'm not ready!

Unfortunately, our plans have been up in the air. My father had a fall last week - related to some underlying health conditions that we didn't know about. Anyway, it's been a long and hectic week - just catching my breath today finally. Ironically, this is the first time that I haven't gotten trip insurance; it was our first time not booking a package, so I needed to do it separately, and by the time I got my act together it was too late. Both DH and I have one living elderly parent, and have both been in the caregiving role enough to know how quickly things can happen, so no trip insurance was a rookie mistake!

Anyway, we were going to cancel, but at this point he seems to be stabilizing and will be in a rehab facility for a while. My siblings have told me they will hold down the fort while we're gone and then I'll be on triple time at the rehab when I return! We haven't been on a family vacation for two years so if things go well in the next day or so we'll go ahead with it.

I had done the extra CL FP program mostly to facilitate things with my husband's injury, but with this added stressor, I'm glad I did it. It got me organized fairly early and I feel like it will take the pressure off the evenings and give us more resort time - I hope! In answer to your question, I think that I read on the CL FP thread that someone that was able to do that on one trip (have DSS book the other days at 90) was unable to do so on another trip. They would not book our other days!

We are doing a split stay starting Wednesday (thank god as it was 25 degrees this morning) at WL CL and then we will be going to BC CL on Monday for 4 nights. I received a welcome email from WL CL last week, I have not seen anything from BC. I know it is hit or miss as far as communication from the various CL staff, just wondering if BC does not do that type of communication. I am pretty well set with the trip so dont really need any help from the CL staff so just curious, it was helpful with WL because I was able to request bunkbeds which I thought was in the system but they said it was not.

Thanks! I haven’t missed a holiday at WDW in years! The resorts are so gorgeous; each has its own special charm! My DD works at WL, which is one of my favorite resorts for holiday decorations

My aunt doesn’t like rides so our days will be filled with resort hopping, the storytellers at Epcot, shows, fine dining and wine tastings! ;)
