Are people always like this? - A Solo Adventure Spring Break 2018 (Completed 5/20/18)

It's always exciting when a Disney restaurant serves sweet tea! (I haven't been recently, but I recall there's only a few that had it. Garden Grill and 50's Prime Time...and getting unsweet tea and adding sugar packets is just not the same!)

Those Easter eggs looked incredible. The Monsters Inc one was probably my favorite, but they all were great. I bet it was a very cool surprise to find when you got to the Beach Club.
And this is real southern style Sweet Tea!

Yes it was! I wasn't planning on staying at BC at all but I had to check out each egg once I walked in the lobby.

That burger looks so good right about now!

I love the chocolate display, especially the Baymax! So cute!

If I am not mistaken, Olivia's had sweet tea the last time we were there.

I then headed to the bus stop to take something to the Epcot resort area. Beach Club was the first to come. Little did I know they had a great Easter display set up!
I love those photos! I would really like to see the easter displays one day, but I don't really want to deal with the easter crowds!

Believe it or not it was not that crowded at all the week I went. I was actually surprised by that but more on that later.

Great pictures! I love Disney Springs so much! It was great staying at Saratoga Springs for marathon weekend because we got to spend a lot of time there.

I loved that Baymax bunny! So cute! But they are all so cute! I wonder what they do with them after Easter, lol? Since they are chocolate they can't save them...

I loved being so close to Disney Springs when staying at SSR.

Many of them are saved and preserved for years.

I cannot wait for that fried chicken at Homecomin' this summer.

I love the Easter display at BC. I didn't realize they did that for Easter. The Christmas carousel was up when we stayed there for marathon weekend 2017 and it was amazing!

You are going to love it!

This was the first year for an Easter display at BC. Usually its only GF.

There's a lot of construction going on at Disney Springs... I keep forgetting how much new stuff (or remodeled/changed stuff) they're building.

Wow, those Easter eggs are amazing! I love all of your pictures! Chip!!

It seems pretty contained to West Side which was mostly untouched in the Disney Springs redo.

They are so amazing!

The Love is Forever Tour!

So I headed on my way to Hollywood Studios! The last time I saw this path I was running a marathon...

Disney Skyliner construction has been progressing quickly...

IMG_3307JPG.jpg

I entered and the March of the First Order was about to begin. I had time so I decided to stay and watch near the stage.

Its a nice thing that happens a few times a day. I made my way to Launch Bay next. I thought about stopping for a meet and greet but didn't end up doing so.

Launch Bay is always a fun thing for me as a big Star Wars fan.

There was a threat of rain today. The only day of the week that there was a threat for it.

I went over to Walt Disney Presents next to check out the models for Toy Story and Star Wars. I also had time to kill before my Toy Story Mania FP.

Some day I will get to you Disneyland someday!

RIP to Paradise Pier as well...

I am reserving judgment on Toy Story land until I step into it. I also wish we could've gotten the full original land that we were supposed to instead of the scaled back version...

I think Slinky Dog will be very popular with the families.

IMG_3327JPG.jpg

I was really surprised at how big this piece of the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge model was. This one piece is the quick service location in the land if I am not mistaken. Its either that or the table service. I couldn't be more excited for this to open.

Toy Story Land is just right there! Let me in already!

IMG_3332.jpg

It was time for Toy Story (Midway) Mania! I had a FP of course. Currently it is operating with only two of its three tracks and the entire queue is being switched over for entry from the new land. The Pixar Place street will become a backstage area instead. While outside I noticed one VIP tour group and then in line I noticed another. The guide was giving the guests pointers for the ride. I noticed more VIP guides on this trip than I have ever before. I guess people are paying for them.

Anyways I did okay on TSMM, I was in a car with a VIP guide and she was best in vehicle of course.

IMG_3334.jpg

IMG_3335.jpg

Next up was Rockin Rollercoaster! It was also raining at this point.... I single rider'd this one.

IMG_3336JPG.jpg

IMG_3337JPG.jpg

IMG_3340JPG.jpg

The rain had stopped thankfully. I headed for something I had never done before next. The Frozen Sing A Long! This is my only photo as I Facebook lived the show for my friends.

IMG_3341JPG.jpg

I really enjoyed this show, more than I was expecting too. The "snow" at the end was plentiful. I was covered in it.

Star Tours was my next Fastpass!

IMG_3342JPG.jpg

They were still only showing the Last Jedi scenes and ending in Batuu at this time. I also enjoy this ride as a Star Wars fan.

My final FP was Tower of Terror. Now I am not exactly a fan of drop rides like the Tower but I love the theming and story of this ride so I suck it up.

rsz_img_3456.jpg

This is one ride I don't know where the camera is. The kid next to me was special needs and kept yelling out things about Guardians of the Galaxy as if this was Mission Breakout in DCA. That was a little distracting.

I decided to go for one more ride on Rockin Rollercoaster before heading out. I am not sure which ride photo is which so I am just posting both at the same time.

Then it was time to head off to Epcot for my first Flower and Garden experience ever!

DHS parking lot construction on the way out. Part of the new temporary entry.

IMG_3343JPG.jpg

IMG_3344JPG.jpg

This area will be the new mega bus loop much like Magic Kingdom.

Up Next: Flower and Garden newbie!

Love that Disney uses the interactive posters on certain rides. It helps pass the time looking for your name. Your ride photos are great! You definitely look less than thrilled to be on ToT, at least compared to RnR.
Where are all the models of TS and GE? I've never found any of them.

Agreed! I love RnR but not so much ToT. The models are inside Walt Disney Presents (formerly One Man's Dream).

I'll take the time next time to check those out.
I'm somewhat opposite. LOVE ToT but when I rode RnR for the first time I nearly had a panic attack. I don't know what it was but that launch was intense (and I've been on a launch coaster that hits much higher speed with a 420 ft drop). Going to try it again, though. Hopefully with better results.
Also, the construction around the World is just insane! There is just so much going on.
