Question about making ADR’s

hi tomorrow is my 180+10. But I currently have two rooms booked for the same nights because I wasn’t sure I wanted to do CL or Studio. If I book ADR’s Tomorrow morning and cancel one of my room reservations, could I possibly lose my ADR’s? Or, doesn’t it matter, as long as I have at least one reservation? Thanks.

To do 180 + 10, it would have to be linked to one of your reservations. If you dont want to link the ADRs to any reservation, you would have to call daily at the 180 for each day.

Thanks. That stinks. I need to make a decision and cancel one.

After seeing post above, I just called to ask. They are linked. That is the only way they know you can do 180+10 to prove you are a resort guest.

Also saw this before calling.....

What you can do is book the ADRs linked to the resort reservation you are leaning towards, but then modify the reservation later if you decide to go to a different resort. All ADRs go with you, as you will still have the same resort reservation number.

To be on the safe side, I would call to make your dining reservations. Explain everything you wrote above and see if the CM can offer a different solution.

ADRs are not linked to your resort reservation. They are linked to your MDE account. The resort reservation must be linked to your MDE account in order to get the +10 (which is what your screenshot shows). But the ADRs themselves are not linked to your resort reservation. Nothing happens to your ADRs if you cancel your resort reservation because they are not linked to one another. There’s no need to call to make the dining reservations.

Your ADRs will not be canceled if the resort reservation is canceled. So do not worry about that. Personal experience here. I had to cancel the trip planned in May but my Be Our Guest reservations stayed. Luckily I caught it so I wouldn't be charged the fee for not showing up!

if you are going to call to cancel you not wanted resort you can take care of having the ADR straightened out then. Tell the cast member you don’t want to lose your restaurants and they will help you. Just be prepared for a long conversation if you have a lot of ADRs

ADRs are NOT LINKED to the resort reservation. Changing or cancelling a resort reservation will NOT do anything to ADRs. No phone calls need to be made at all.
