I am! But also getting a bit training fatigue! I want the day to arrive!

We're running too! I'm not a runner at all, so I'm only doing the 5K, my husband originally was only going to do the 10K, but then friends talked him into doing the 5K aswell. We're staying in Santa Fe

Ah, I wondered why you weren't in this thread ;-) It's just so much fun, just take your time, take pictures, stop for characters.

I read you're staying in Sequoia Lodge with other people, does one happen to be my friend with car trouble? As I happen to know she's staying there too (with other people )

No, she is in Santa Fe or Cheyenne I think, she did offer to share, but I am with another friend, and she's not very good with people she doesn't know.
Maybe we should team up for the photopass, I believe you can have 6 bibs on one pass. They increased the prices from 40 to 75 euro this year!

I’m staying at sequoia lodge. Most people have really really good things to say about this resort. Especially for the money. We will see!

I am staying in Cheyenne.... Can someone explain to me how a $250+ per night Disney hotel does NOT have soap and shampoo?!!! And i have to bring my own. Or so GET sports is telling me. Sigh

I even went back to pictures of friends that stayed there two weeks ago and it shows soap and shampoo

I still have a stash of Mickey soap and shampoo from the Star Wars HM in April. I guess I will play it safe and pack a few. Things could get ripe after a few days of running if this is true.

E kala mai (apologies) for the lack of photo - seems it wonʻt let me post one...
Iʻll be getting my daughter settled in at Royal Veterinary College, then heading to Basque Country for some Ph.D. research - was able to fit the 36K challenge in between those two dates!

Iʻm wondering if anyone knows of someone wanting to split/share a room from Sept. 19-25-ish?
Trying to keep my costs as low as possible - but many of the rooms have quad beds, etc. If not no worries - any suggestions for affordable options close by appreciated. (Sadly, Ibis budget MLV VdʻE is booked up.)

...EU sizing always makes me feel like a semi-ogre!
Just picked my shirt size - so much larger than US sizing; but when I lived in Paris my size 11 W (US) my feet were also ʻextra extraʻ to find shoes I could wear.

EDIT: *Not to say or imply any size shirt, etc. is ʻsemi-ogre-ishʻ*!
I (clumsily) meant to convey how - though Iʻm only 5ʻ11" - things were always a bit too short, too tight in the shoulders, etc. when I bought clothes or shoes in FR. (Lived there for 2 yrs).
When I did ask for my proper size, people would often repeat the number in shock...unless I was paying $$$$ for "specialty store" prices and service.

Ok, so debatable soap/shampoo, but a definite no on conditioner? (I’ve been growing my hair out for 1.5 years for my Rapunzel costume, I need a lot of conditioner )
