I'm travelling for work and will be able to make purchases towards STB in Nova Scotia next week (live in Ontario) - will they still count towards STB? Or does it all have to be in one province?

You most definitely can collect miles wherever you are, in fact several of us have helped each other out during these promos by using someone else's card to complete a coupon. Hubby was out in BC last summer and the miles he collected for his groceries posted to the account before the ones from my purchases here in Ontario!

So not so lucky with the airmilesshops, did 3 $100 orders:

1. Chapters. I was racing against midnight on Cyber Monday, had $40 in books and filled the rest with 2 $25 Chapters physical giftcards and 1 $10 email gc. So far credit card has a $10 and $25 charge pending so looks like this will be a split transaction. Lesson learned for next time.
2. Amazon. My mess up, used same airmiles account as above so I have two $100 purchases under same account, might have been for the best in the end. One shipment, everything arrived.
3. Sephora. I only shop here for things I can't get anywhere else in Canada. Received an email this morning that they ran out of stock and cancelled over half my order. 5 days later!!! They were in stock when I ordered on Black Friday. I spent at least an hour this morning trying to get my money back, evidently they can't reverse a gift card transaction unless it's for the whole amount.

So I'm 1 for 3 for airmilesshops $100 STB. So far no airmiles postings so I'll see what happens.

I think as long as you have 1 email receipt saying your Indigo total purchase was over $100 you will be OK. You could have put a gift card towards your purchase and paid the balance on CC for example. As long as your total spend was $100+ you should be able to argue your point if the bonus doesn’t post!

Yes they will!! I've done purchases in QC for people all over the country for various promotions and I always have 2-3 purchases done in ON for the big ones like StB and they always counted.

My Samsung pay posted yesterday for 50 standard miles. It posted as nov 16 but I only signed up on nov 17....

I think as long as you have 1 email receipt saying your Indigo total purchase was over $100 you will be OK. You could have put a gift card towards your purchase and paid the balance on CC for example. As long as your total spend was $100+ you should be able to argue your point if the bonus doesn’t post!

Thank you, my email receipt says $100.88 plus taxes $102.93, all paid on credit card so I guess I'm good to argue it lol. Good to know that I could have paid the $40 with my giftcards, I already have some. I'm looking at it as a learning experience, it was 10:47pm and I didn't have a lot of think time, still had Amazon to do and airmilesshops was locking up.

I was literally going to post about this exact thing. 15min ago I bought the Jacob Creek 750ml Char that has the 7AM bonus as part of STB. This wine cost $11. I swiped my AM but it shows AM received as zero. I asked the checkout lady and she explained that you get 7AM only on top of any others earned, and because I didn't spend at least $30 in one transaction, I get nothing. She didn't know what STB was. This was Hazeldean LCBO in Kanata.

The coupon does have a vague comment about spending a qualifying amount

I check LCBO site - it says you get 1 AM every $30 cumulative spend over a monthly period.

So I can take this bottle back and have a redo if I want, but suddenly to get this on each card becomes min $60 spend which I prob won't do

The cashier was partly correct -- you won't get any Base miles which are calculated on the min weekly spend BUT you will get the miles for the coupon and they will post to your account quickly but with no indication of what they are for BUT since you didn't meet any other offer, there's little question that it's connected to the promo, should be fine!

I can't speak to why the posting dates don't seem to be connected to the date you completed the "coupon" other than chalk that up to AM being annoying. Why the amount is different than on the coupon, i'm thinking this is because the offer on the website states only 50 miles, but again, no real explanation. I never received an email when i established the account and that was a very long time ago (also don't get any annoying marketing emails) and there wasn't any indication that I'd ever attached my AM number to the account.

I have my fingers crossed tightly for those of you who are counting on this being one of your 7 coupons, and hope you have screen shots to back this up. However, if most of us are having trouble, and we're a very small sub-group of collectors, I would imagine it's happening a LOT and they will be rubber-stamping these complaints in a similar fashion to the previous online promo.

Time to look closely at the Rexall flyer and think carefully -- this weekend they have their Head-to-toe event for spend $50 get 100 AM that will combine with the weekend threshold offer of spend $50 get 60 or spend $70 get 100 AM. HOWEVER their next coupon launches on Monday and is good for 10 days -- spend $40 get 40 AM. If you didn't use the one for cash miles and need to use this one you'll need to decide if you can complete a transaction on the weekend as well as another one. There will be a new flyer to include within the 10 days the coupon is live, so you could wait it out....

Yes and with LCBO they post quickly but the offer expires on Sat so will have to just wait and see on this one

There isn't a coupon to scan - its just a standing offer - they have a banner on the store shelf (but no mention of STB). So it was just a buy and scan AM card

Looking more closely at the offer- the coupon says 75 bonus miles. When you click through to the site, it’s 50 AM plus 5 AM fir each purchase up to 25 AM and ends on Dec 31. Perhaps the coupon isn’t clear about the “terms” to get 75 AM. Hopefully you don’t have to do the purchases and get 75 AM to get credit for the coupon for STB. This will be my 7th so not concerned about the 25 mile difference but could cost me 1000 AM on the promo!
