Universal Orlando resort restrictions on 2 day 2 park tickets

Just wanted to make sure that anyone who got the 2 day 2 park tickets through airmiles (with 2 bonus days) is aware, that those tickets must be used within 6 days of first use. I called Universal to see if this was indeed the case and they said yes it was...so essentially you would have to use all 4 days within 6 days. I was not a happy camper!! I also asked her if I purchased these online or at the gate if they would also have to be used within 6 days she stated yes they would. So in our case, my daughter and i fly down the first week and we are using one day there, and my husband is joining us the second week (which we were planning on using the second day of the ticket). Don't want to draw out the story..but we do have other people joining us so changing the days is not so easy. We have made it work...but it took a lot of rescheduling and switching things around. Just wanted to make others aware of the restrictions as well.

Hi, I'm sorry you weren't aware of this and I'm glad you were able to work out your days! I take it these are the Buy 2 Get 2 days free that need to be used by May 31st?

Just wanted to let you know you actually have 7 days to use the tickets. Whoever told you 6 days on the phone is incorrect. You have 7 days starting from the first day the ticket is used. Maybe that person meant 6 days after you first used ticket not including that first day.

The fine print on Air Miles says "Ticket is valid for any four (4) calendar days during a seven (7) consecutive calendar day period, which includes the first day any portion of the ticket is used."
The same fine print is on Universal Studios Orlando's website as well.

The tickets use to give you 14 consecutive calendar days. I wish it were still that way.

I got two of those tickets. Fortunately we are only in Florida for 6 days so we will be able to use all days before they expire.

All Universal tickets have been 7 days for quite a while now. You have six more days after the first day's use.

Sorry to change topic, but are the Universal tickets from air miles the same as Disney, that they come I the mail? Or are they email then go to will call window at the park before going into park entrance?

I redeemed air miles for my Universal tickets and they came in the mail.
