Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

For the resorts for sure, at least the ones at SAB that I am familiar with. Not sure about the water parks. According to those who have booked the ones at SAB the percentage off is 15% (not sure how to link specific posts but it is on page 1455 of the Y&BC thread). I have a cabana booked at SAB without the discount, because I didn't know about it at the time, and tried to have it applied yesterday but the CM was having issues doing so, but she did verify that it existed and if she couldn't get it applied that the resort could refund me the difference, others have had no issues getting the discount applied after the original booking so I am going to try again.
I received a 15% discount for our upcoming cabana rental. Just be sure to mention it when you’re renting it. Enjoy!!

Thank you for your feedback! We're not really sure we're interested with renting a cabana at a resort, though it's nice to know there is a discount.

If anyone has feedback about water parks cabanas, please share!

Ok, not CL related but I need your help. I can get an AP that must be activated by 12/2020 from working advantage. Its 865. I priced out my trip for next yr and the tickets I would need are 550 pp. That's a 300 difference. I would buy it just for me not the rest of my family. We always get memory maker. Our last trip we had convention tickets. Not sure how the price compares. We generally dont get the dining plan but have when it was free since we have 4 Disney adults. I'm not tied to it though. We always eat at CM, ohana breakfast and dinner, Yachtsman and trex. All have 10% off with an AP. Is it a no brainer to get the AP? How are AP resortbdiscounts in july and August? I was originally thinking AP for room discounts. Thoughts?
That's a good price, especially if you usually buy MM and would get to use some dining credits. Things like return trips and room discounts are never a sure thing, so I try not to use those to justify an AP.

I have a feeling 2020 will see even more price increases on every part of a WDW visit. It might actually be a good year to opt for offsite stays.

I agree that prices are going to continue to go up and discounts go down with SWGE. I just don't think I can do offsite. We love the perks and the 60 day fp. I think the off site that give 6p days would be the only way I would consider it.

I asked my kids if they have a hotel preference or if they just want CL anywhere. I got the answer I was expecting, CL. Lll. They're spoiled!

At WDW we are also a bit spoiled for CL.

We've long been in the habit of doing split stays though- so a little of the best of both. Over the years, we have tried just about very possible FL combo: all WDW CL, CL+ non-CL, WDW+ non WDW, even Orlando+ other FL cities.

It kinda depends where I see a reasonable deal, and what our budget happens to be. For non-WDW park days, I will happily save a good chunk of $ staying offsite. FL has many lovely hotels!

I just came back from a lovely stay at a little motel (not FL) that was absolutely charming at a mere $65/night! Including coffee and muffins every morning!

well after all that debating over APs, I went to pull the plug on working advantage and it wont work! I'm guessing they are all gone. I put in all my info, hit submit, then it tells me my cart is empty 🙄 guess it wasn't meant to be.

Ok, to everyone following my AP saga, I hopped over to that AP thread and saw that Plum benefits has them too. I recently signed up for them through work so I bought them! I'm waiting on an email. They said I will get an email with them and its will call or something or.other. hope I didn't screw up!

Thanks, I'm very nervous. I already verified the purchase with my cc company and got a confirmation email. I just hope I can link it. Fingers crossed. It doesn't look like I'll be going to sleep until it comes. It said within the hour.

However merch and food discounts DO add up!

Yes, they do ;).

My kids do shop a decent amount. I tend to have a hard time saying no on vacation.

I have a hard time controlling myself when shopping at Disney...lol. The 20% discount adds up fast ::yes::.

Just a tiny warning... an AP will make you want to go to WDW more. The ticket is already paid for so why not? LOL

So very true.....especially when tickets are half the battle when planning a Disney trip :rolleyes1.

I will definitely have the AP bug but my husband only goes to Disney to appease us. I can definitely see me getting a friend food and wine trip in if I get an AP.

I think a girls F&W trip is a great idea! I've been on a few girls trips and they are a lot of fun! I actually just got back about 2 weeks ago from one and while I do miss my DH and DSs when I'm gone, I also have great times and love the ME time :goodvibes.

Woohoo! I'm in, lol!

Congratulations!!!! Enjoy your AP!! :rainbow:

Im in too then the planning begins lol.

I love cl. Do a few stays a year. However 2020?

I booked a AoA suite for MLK in case dd, ds and dd's bf and I want to go.

Then I did CBR for Pres weekend for me, dd and bf since we have passes.

I booked what i wanted to spend and will wait to see if any discounts. Traditionally disney visa is good for Jan but who knows.

Im hoping there are still discounts. I would love to upgrade to cl!!

I can also attest that once you get an AP, the Disney Math gets even fuzzier! :D This from the person who is currently shoehorning a trip into August to get the most from her AP!

Not having to worry about buying tickets makes it a little easier to justify going more than once within a year...Disney math at its best . I just renewed my AP a couple weeks ago when I was there and I'm already contemplating a quick August trip and possibly taking my niece back in Oct. After that, I still have another 8 mos on my AP :earboy2:.

Ha! I have an AP for 2 days and now I'm thinking of sneaking in a trip with my 2 kids while my husband is away on a work trip in Vegas. It is addicting.

So I can make fastpasses with my AP but I can't see room discounts. The AP is showing under tickets. I emailed Disney and they replied I have to call to get prices and nothing will be visible until they are activated. Other people on the price increase thread said they could see prices right away without it being active. This is annoying because I want to see prices and play around with dates to see about going for a few days in August . I cant call and have them price out the whole month for me 🤣 I like to see all my options.

The Disney CM who told you that is incorrect. However, I had trouble seeing them when I first got my voucher too. What worked for me was using an incognito browser, so I'd suggest trying that and seeing if that makes a difference. Their website honestly is very glitchy and inconsistent so it doesn't surprise me you're having trouble. I hope the incognito browser trick works for you! :)

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately it didn't work. Gggrrr

The number of people (on that thread) that have reported the same issue as you is notable/interesting to me. I would normally say glitch, but seems relatively widespread. Either they are slowly changing something, or it’s a pretty large scale glitch, or they’re flooded with voucher links.

FWIW, AP rates aren’t out past August so you’re not missing all that much at the moment.
