Trying to get in the park. Had no idea how many construction barracades were up. If you drive they make you walk waaaay around.

Bag check is moving at a snail's pace.

Be prepared if you come. It is not fun getting in.

Hmm...I was planning to drive in August. Is it likely to have the same set up?

The entrance way and Future World will all be rough for quite some time. Up until the 50th just about Im sure. But the entrance way work should be done sooner I suspect. To be fair the bag lines were ALREADY the slowest of any of the parks before the work started. Im sure thats being addresses with the redesign.

I have never understood how the bag line at EPCOTS main entrance was always so slow. Hopefully with the remodel it will be better. I've read that after the remodel, those getting off the monorail will not have to go through the bag line. I'm hoping that is true and it will help things a lot.

Perhaps the better question for me is, should I take the bus instead of driving because of the walking path in the parking lot?

That would make sense since there are bag checks before getting on the monorail.

We were there last week - went to Epcot two days and the lines for bag and check in we the lowest we've had since we started going in 2008! Pleasantly surprised!

Bag check took forever at 7:40 this morning!

Anyway just leaving to take a resort break. We will be skipping it in November.

Yeah, I saw some of tim trackers videos, it's sad and exciting at the same time all the changes. We'll be there soon but we'll walk over on the IG to avoid the lots.

I don’t think so... the busses are a hike at EP IMO and if you get there and park at rope drop it’s not horrible right now

The bus would drop you off closer to the entrance compared to that of the parking lot. The tram in the parking lot really doesn't help you at all. You still end up having to walk quite a bit.

I agree. Plus they were not running any trams when we arrived. I would take the bus for now.

Atlas by staying at BCV, I can go in via the IG and avoid it. I'm just hoping that the skyway isn't fully open when I go in mid-September.

You might be better off if it is. It is quite the construction pinch point right now.

Does Uber drop you off within a reasonable walk?
I don’t know about now, but when we were there in February, we took Uber and if they still drop off at the same place it was close to the main entrance, probably even closer than some of the resort buses.

Yes, 2 weeks back it seemed to be a more pleasant bag check line via bus or monorail without all the tram guests getting dumped there, too.

But nothing is as bad as the current TTC parking arrival mess (more of the lot has no trams and now trams drop guests farther back, before the bridge..)
