Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

That's my question too. I haven't been contacted...yet. How can they not honor a confirmed reservation, rates and all? I agree that $370 for a $1250 room is highway robbery on my part...but...hey!
That is about the same rate I booked for late April. I will be very unhappy if they take it away

I’m here now and answering my own question about Beach vs Yacht Club level. Fewer food choices at Yacht, feels cramped. Staff seems warmer and friendlier (I find them a little “bothered” at Beach Club club level). But after just coming off a Chronos Club level stay last month, this whole club experience is a let down. The heavy monitoring of the limited wine offerings, the skimpy, low end food offerings, not feeling it. Now, the room is great and we have an amazing lake view with a perfect view of the Epcot fireworks so that’s cool. King bed and nice sized balcony. But, I feel like once you go Chronos club, it’s goung to be hard to go back!

Help with BWI - I'm trying to decide between $5600 for club level or $4600 standard (4 nights). We've never stayed club level before. Just can't decide if it's worth it.

No way! You can buy any drinks you want and eat a lot of food of your own choosing and likely still not spend $1000!!! I think $50- 100 more per night (higher end if 4 people in the room) is my max for club level.

I got upgraded to YC club level as my second trip in my life to WDW in 2018 (prior to that was poly CL in 2000). We are doing 2 nights 1 park day in April and got a great rate at CSR Chronos so I am super excited to hear you loved it! Because with nothing recent to compare I loved our stay at YC 🤣

Do you do a room request when staying at CL? We have two nights at AKL CL, hoping for a room with good viewing as the trip is planned so we have a lot of time at the lodge

I always do. So they know the general area I’d like to be in

Are you staying in the same standard view category from non-club to club? If yes, then $200 more per night is a bit much. It's usually "only" $140 more for us (with some sort of promotions).

Poly CL only has reserved beach fireworks viewing for the special July 4th and NYE fireworks. There isn’t reserved viewing any other time.

Have you seen HEA before?

I consider the view from the Poly beach very good, but it’s a different “show” than being in the MK. HEA has a lot of projections on the castle that really enhance the overall experience.

My first choice would be to be in the MK for HEA if possible. On any given trip, we’ll typically do both - watch HEA from inside the MK one night, then we’re happy to watch from the Poly beach on other nights.

Hope that helps!
GA Disney Dad - you are amazing! I just booked Poly CL for NYE and came here and read your thread stating that Poly CL has reserved beach viewing for NYE. Wow, that's awesome news! Thx again for all of your great helpful information!

Unless the renovation is completed at AKL, I would request to be in a newly refurbished room. The typical club rooms used to be in a small block on the 4th floor facing the same area of the savanna.

We stayed CL at AKL in July. I just requested a refurbished room. We got our request. We were in a 4th floor room on Kudu Trail.

When I booked AKL CL last year I called DSS and requested bunk beds (not sure they still have them now with the referbs) I really didn't care about location but we did have a really nice one not to far in and with bunk beds like I requested.

I'd appreciate any insight and thoughts on staying club level at the Poly v. club level at the GF (Sugar Loaf building). Thanks.
I do both often.

I prefer the way the lounge looks at poly with 2 levels, large windows, and awesome views. It is a fun place to hang out.

I prefer the food at GF, I love the soup midday! Then the scones n tea time are a nice treat, They have more for desserts as well.

Both are good at least for pool access,

Gf has guaranteed outer area/patio or balcony where poly 2nd floor doesn’t have balconies.

Generally gf has more options for alcohol; but I love the special punch at poly. Both have POG(gf calls it tropical juice).

Poly you can walk to TTC which can be handy Gf you can stroll to lobby and listen to the piano/band. You can walk over/mono/boat from poly to do this it just takes longer. I did that last trip.

I prefer the bathroom layout at gf. It has sink area outside of commode/shower. Poly it’s all in one room and not time friendly for families in the morning!

I prefer the closets of poly. Having 2 helps me and dd keep organized. I like the nightlight in them too.

Lol I could go on and on. However I have HAD AN AWESOME TIME AT BOTH CL’S MANY TIMES! You really can’t go wrong IMO.

@trishadono you sound like me 😂
We did AKL CL in July, YC in August, CSR in September & are at Poly in 2 weeks! I snagged a 1BR villa at riviera for MLK weekend and I am so excited. This next trip I’ll only have my 7 & 4yo with me so Poly is perfect (and I managed to snag a standard view AP discount at 35% and will probably never see it that cheap again) but the 1 BR with my husband and all three boys will be perfect. Parks get full? Head back to the room with lots of space. Baby needs shut in a room separate from big brothers to take a nap? They can watch a movie in the living room. Kids get to go to Disney, mommy gets to stay in a brand new hotel as their Christmas present. 😂
Did you see the pix I posted on another thread? The Murphy bed for a sofa looks so cool!

That extra space sure is handy for a family trip :)

Those rates are so awesome. Glad we get to try the new resort soon!

When the new discounts came out this week, our TA upgraded us from a regular cl room at Poly to a theme park view since it was so cheap to do. Are these in different buildings? We have never stayed CL at Poly so I don't know much about it at all. Thanks!

All the non-suite CL rooms at Poly are in the Hawaii longhouse. Poly CL TPV rooms face the MK/Lagoon and are mostly on the third floor and also some on the second floor. Third floor rooms have a balcony, second floor rooms do not (so when I book Poly CL TPV my one and only request is always a third floor room).

While they all have various pros/cons, Poly CL TPV is just about our favorite room type/CL combo. Enjoy your trip!

The cl rooms at poly are in the Hawaii building. (Look at map for area but it’s by the beach, )

Gv rooms are on the pool side. Lv and TPV cl’s are all on the side facing seven seas lagoon. The TPV are mostly on 3rd floor since the added the bungalows but some are on 2nd which does NOT have a balcony. Fyi

You will be able to see HEA and EWP from your room. Awesome upgrade!
