I wish if they finish with all BG and guests, and if the attraction is running properly they would let CM preview it tonight, maybe just the ones at SWGE.

Has there been no opportunity for CMs to ride at all at this point? Is that somewhat unprecedented as it relates to major ride openings?

no not only that but CM are blocked out from DHS for the next 3 months so if they don't have an AP or buy a day ticket they won't be able to ride it
The only CM that have gone on it are RotR CM

Sitting in our OKW villa and contemplating whether to head over to HS just to see if more groups open. We have nowhere to be until DAH at 10 at MK.

Wow Especially sad considering they are all in the midst of a busy and stressful time! That’s way different than other recent openings, right? (ie MFSR, SDD, FoP, etc?) I cant say I closely follow CM previews and such but it seems like they usually occur.

Well of course paying guests are the priority. Iger would never let the company forget that

I also feel a little sad for CMs who weren’t able to experience any preview or time for them to ride. They do work very hard to ensure our trips are magical and the vast majority of them do an amazing job! I understand that not everybody would agree with that tho and that’s ok (Edit: I mean not agree with my feeling, not that anybody would think they don’t work hard...sorry this was worded weirdly, lol)

Did you enter HS at any point today? If you did, was it the last park you entered today? If they do open more boarding groups, I’m wondering if MDE only needs to verify that you entered the park at some point today. Or is there a GPS element that comes into play.

Yeah they usually have CM previews for all new attractions

Actually by not having CM experience the attraction they are not putting guests first.
The 4 keys of Disney are Safety , Courtesy, Show and Efficiency
By not giving the CM a preview they can't meet any of these (unless you are a RotR CM which they have gone on it)
For example, guest approaches random CM at DHS to ask if the ride would give them motion sickness...CM can't answer. Hence lack for safety, courtesy, efficiency
Guest asks CM what type of experience is it? again, lack of keys in place.

I agree. CM should be able to have experienced the ride so that they can better assist guests. (Besides the fact that they deserve to get to ride it!)

Do we think the boarding groups were smaller today or was the ride running at a higher capacity? They seem to have gotten farther, faster today.
