Canadian Buffoon's Exhausted Vacation - Update 09/01 - New TR link!

What a wonderful way to use
her gift to you!
Now every time you go,
you'll think of her. :)

I like that quite a lot.
Now my favourite place and my favourite person are linked together forever....it's pretty special. :goodvibes

It was not a great night.
I got to bed right around
eleven pm... but was up
from midnight... to four am.

:sad2:

I went to the bathroom
and might have squealed
in pain as I partially threw
my back out.

Oh nooooooooo!

I limped/staggered/shuffled
back to bed and miraculously
fell asleep.

Until the alarm blared at 5:15am.

Some sleep is better than no sleep.

I arrived at the bus stop at 6:04am.
The bus arrived at 6:11am.

Seven minutes... a slight improvement,
but not nearly the promptness
I have grown accustomed to
and deserve.

I'm disappointed for you. How dare they!

I was by no ways the first to arrive.
Not even close.

Nope, not at all.

But I know a trick or two and...
By skirting around the crowd to
the right, I was able to position
myself fairly close to the entrance.

This maneuver is much easier to do when you're alone.

Moving as quickly as I was able,
which was slower than my normal speed,
but still slower than many,

I got a bit frustrated with the people moving a lot slower than me on this last trip. I need to work on my patience.

By moving as far as possible to the
left, I was able to get right up to the
rope stretched across the end of the bridge.

Again, when you're alone this is so much easier.

I was the first guest of the day on 7DMT.

:cheer2:

:rotfl2:

:rotfl:

I have to ask, Did any of your fellow seatmates say anything about your staging?

I won't say it's my favourite
ride in Disney... nor even in
MK... but it's in the top 3
(at MK, at least.)

I would agree with this.

Very original. How did you get the knife in?

It was time to knock a treat off
the "to-do" list.
I'd heard of the Cat Tails for a while
and had tried to get one during
the last trip, to no avail.
I was not thwarted this time!

This is on my list too. I tried twice last month and was thwarted.

And... I gotta tell ya...
I didn't like it.
Far too many chocolate chips.
At that time of morning, for
breakfast, I just don't normally
like or want a lot of chocolate.
Unless it's hot chocolate... then maybe.

I hate to hear this, but since I like chocolate I might like it more than you did.

This is a really good picture of you.

Love these!

I decided to mobile-order
a Dole Whip Float first.

OMG.... soooo good.

Yum, but the regular Dole Whip is better.

I offered to let him hold it, but he
surprised me by saying that he
wasn't allowed to touch guests'
cameras.
I wonder why not? Because it would
stop him from playing? Because
he might drop it? But other CMs
use guests' cameras all the time.

I still don't know.

Strange.

I've never eaten here. On the first trip I went on with my oldest two, DS and I took a break in here while Michelle was riding the Liberty Belle. We sat in the upper level and really enjoyed the show. I miss this.

I waited for a few minutes
and was brought to what
was described as "The best
seat in the house."

Very nice!

I looked around and was a bit
surprised by these (for Disney)
slightly risqué prints on the wall.

Never noticed these.

Impressive!

There was one joke that I hadn't heard before.
Skip it if you'd rather hear it straight from
the source.
Otherwise you can click the spoiler button.

I haven't heard this one yet either.

Hmmm... time for a snack, though.
I picked up a chicken skewer
from the Westward Ho wagon.

We tried the candied bacon last month but I saw these and they're on the list for next time.

We hugged and laughed and
reminisced.
I pulled out my phone and
showed her photos of how
our relationship progressed.

Love all these photos.

After that torture was over,
I dropped her off back at
the grotto and told her I'd
have to rethink our future.

You outdid yourself on the ride photos with Ariel. What did you tell her to get the right reactions?

Oh nooooooooo!
Unfortunately...
Some sleep is better than no sleep.
Very true. Even a 40 minute
nap would be better than none.

I'm disappointed for you. How dare they!
Right?!?!?!?!
This maneuver is much easier to do when you're alone.
I know.
But.... since I was...
I got a bit frustrated with the people moving a lot slower than me on this last trip. I need to work on my patience.
Nah. Just work on getting
your elbows up.

Again, when you're alone this is so much easier.
Yep.

They normally don't see me.

I didn't.

Love these!
Thanks again. :)

I was a bit surprised to see them.
I'm sure there's a story there.

Impressive!
Thanks! First time. :)
We tried the candied bacon last month but I saw these and they're on the list for next time.
And the candied bacon is on
my list for my next trip. :)

Love all these photos.
Thanks! :)
You outdid yourself on the ride photos with Ariel. What did you tell her to get the right reactions?
I showed her the previous photos,
and explained to her what I do.
Then I asked her to pretend she

but that's okay too. :)

It was not a great night.
I got to bed right around
eleven pm... but was up
from midnight... to four am.

Yikes that's rough.

I went to the bathroom
and might have squealed
in pain as I partially threw
my back out.

Oh no. I remember a trip report of yours when you were overseas and this happened.

Until the alarm blared at 5:15am.

Ugh way too early.

Seven minutes... a slight improvement,
but not nearly the promptness
I have grown accustomed to
and deserve.

They knew you weren't moving so fast this morning and were giving you extra time.

I stayed to the left, right behind the CM
and was rewarded with my efforts by
following the CM up to the queue,
into the queue and right up to the ride.
I was the first guest of the day on 7DMT.

Awesome! Good job!

This is amazing!

Far too many chocolate chips.

Blasphemy.

I offered to let him hold it, but he
surprised me by saying that he
wasn't allowed to touch guests'
cameras.

Very strange. I wonder why also.

There are two tables, one on either
side of the stage, set on elevated
platforms.
It's very set apart and offers plenty
of elbow room and privacy.

I loved it.

Oo I love that!

This couple at the Speedway made
me laugh, so I snapped a photo
as they chugged past.

:rotfl: :rotfl: what is even happening

If it's in a dog's mouth it's a...

Bark."

I've heard the rest of this joke except this part! Very funny!

I know one of my readers
recommended this.
And I almost remember who.
But that note is at work.
If it was you... thanks!
It was really tasty!

It was me! You're welcome!

It was not a great night.
I got to bed right around
eleven pm... but was up
from midnight... to four am.

Ugh. Fran has problems like this. I don't know why but I usually sleep through the night. And only on vacation do I wake up at early hours. At home I usually sleep right through until 7AM.

I went to the bathroom
and might have squealed
in pain as I partially threw
my back out.

So does it happen instantly for you? When I hurt my back last Fall, we (me and the Chiropractor) figured that I must have done it backstage waiting to go on for a "stand and play" marching band gig. I was leaning against a wall with my leg bent thus putting all the weight on my right leg/hip. I started out being sore that afternoon, to slight pain on Sunday, and by Monday morning at the Chiropractor I was in excruciating pain. It took three visits and 10 days after the first treatment to recover.

I stepped/limped/groaned/disembarked
the bus and made my way... finally!...
to the Magic Kingdom.

I was by no ways the first to arrive.
Not even close.

I don't know how you work through pain like that. I would be like, "screw it, I'm taking a bath and ordering room service!"

But I know a trick or two and...
By skirting around the crowd to
the right, I was able to position
myself fairly close to the entrance.

Unfortunately you can't do that in a scooter!

I was the first guest of the day on 7DMT.

That's a pretty amazing feat!

I was simply beside myself
with fright when I rode HM.

Photoshop much?

the last trip, to no avail.

And... I gotta tell ya...
I didn't like it.
Far too many chocolate chips.

I showed this to Fran and she said, "There's no such thing as too many chocolate chips."

While I was in the area,
I had a nice chat with a DVC
CM and decided to let myself
get talked into a DVC tour.

Interesting.

I offered to let him hold it, but he
surprised me by saying that he
wasn't allowed to touch guests'
cameras.
I wonder why not? Because it would
stop him from playing? Because
he might drop it? But other CMs
use guests' cameras all the time.

I still don't know.

Musicians, they don't trust us with anything valuable!

When I'd originally booked a lunch
ADR for this day, I'd made it at LTT.
I really wanted to try the burger there.

We had it a few years back and it was very good.

While I suppose the "all you can eat"
option is what might bring in the hungry,
I'm just not that big an eater to make
it worth my while.
But you can order a la carte.

Not sure if much on that menu really appeals to me. Is that a place you need to make an ADR for?

I won't go into all the details
of the DVC spiel.
It was interesting and informative...
but I just don't think it's for me.

I've never had the "spiel". Fran bought our first points on the resale market in 2007. I didn't have any idea what they were and it took me a year to decide to use them. I got a pretty rude awakening when I tried to use them. I think it was like 3 mos. before we wanted to travel and to my surprise SSR was the only place with availability.

After that, I joined some DVC groups and started getting myself educated. It turned out that we wouldn't be back to WDW before our next set of points would expire, so we traded them out at DL, and while we were there I realized we had to own at the VGC or we would never get in there! And that's when the whole dive down the rabbit hole started for me. We did meet with a guide at DL, but he didn't have to give us the spiel. I asked to see the point chart and said "we want to stay this weekend, two times at least during F&W, etc." For me it was a matter of how many would be enough points, then then we added on there again.

Hmmm... time for a snack, though.
I picked up a chicken skewer
from the Westward Ho wagon.

OK that does look good! I added it to our list!

Now... time for that date.
I made my way over to
Ariel's grotto and she was
(of course) overjoyed to see me.

Of course she was....

After that torture was over,
I dropped her off back at
the grotto and told her I'd
have to rethink our future.

Sad... but everyone has their limit.

 It happens to the best of us.

Dejected, I arrived at the bus stop
at 7:09pm... and to add insult to
injury, the bus didn't arrive until
eight minutes later, at 7:17pm.

I just sadly shook my head
and headed back to my hotel room.

Alone...

Heartbroken.

:grouphug:

Not bad, Tracy. How was yours?
It was pretty good, thanks! Happy New Year to you

It was not a great night.
Yikes. I don't know how you did all you did throughout the day... :headache:

I was the first guest of the day on 7DMT.
What?! How cool! I don't think I've ever been the first guest of the day anywhere. Except maybe Impressions de France

What could be better than sitting
in jammies and a housecoat, sipping
a mug of coffee (or in my case, hot
chocolate) and perusing the morning
paper?
This is AWESOME! You have the best ride photos ever. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

While I was in the area,
I had a nice chat with a DVC
CM and decided to let myself
get talked into a DVC tour.
Still need to do this... every trip I say I will :sad2:

And it was one I really wanted to do
because I don't know anyone who's
done it!
I managed to rebook at...
O M G. You may have solved a decades-long mystery for me, pkondz. But if so, you do know someone who has gone here. I have a memory in my head from when I went with my family as a kid and I never knew where the place must have been or if it still existed. Never occurred to me that it would have been this spot. And since I don't know anyone who has gone, I've never seen pictures  THANK YOU!!!

I just can't imagine standing in
line for the chance to slowly
jerk around a track.
:rotfl2:Same!

What a great day despite that completely unpleasant start. But the whole Ariel thing was a bit of a bummer... :sad2: I'll have a stern talking to with that girl next time I'm down there. :thumbsup2

Yikes that's rough.
It wasn't as much fun as I'd hoped.
Oh no. I remember a trip report of yours when you were overseas and this happened.
Thank goodness this wasn't
as bad as that time!
I was able to move and
it eased off quite a bit
by mid-day or so.

Ugh way too early.
That's just normal Disney.
They knew you weren't moving so fast this morning and were giving you extra time.
Someone else said the
exact same thing!

Awesome! Good job!
:)
This is amazing!
Thanks, although I like
my formal Splash shot better. :)

Very strange. I wonder why also.
:confused3
:rotfl: :rotfl: what is even happening
Well, they were having fun. :)
I've heard the rest of this joke except this part! Very funny!
I was the same!
It was me! You're welcome!
I thought so!
I had it narrowed down to you
and one other person...
And since it wasn't her,
I was 99% sure it was you!

Thanks!

Ugh. Fran has problems like this. I don't know why but I usually sleep through the night. And only on vacation do I wake up at early hours. At home I usually sleep right through until 7AM.
I normally sleep great at Disney.
This time... not so much.
I think I had a few things on
my mind still that was preventing

me from sleeping well.
Ugh. That sounds like not a fun
time at all.

For me, it's like being shot in the back.
I'll be 100% fine, not a care in the world,
and I'll bend over to pick something out

and... <Bang!> I'm on the floor.
I don't know how you work through pain like that. I would be like, "screw it, I'm taking a bath and ordering room service!"
Luckily, it wasn't a really bad
episode. I managed to get
vertical and it slowly worked

out and I was able to enjoy the day.
Unfortunately you can't do that in a scooter!
No, I suppose not!
That's a pretty amazing feat!
I had a pretty big grin on
my face!

Photoshop much?
Nope. Completely natural...

:rolleyes1
I showed this to Fran and she said, "There's no such thing as too many chocolate chips."
:lmao:
And yet... I don't like chocolate
croissants either.
Just... too dry, maybe?
Musicians, they don't trust us with anything valuable!
:rotfl:
We had it a few years back and it was very good.
I'd sure like to try it some day.
Not sure if much on that menu really appeals to me. Is that a place you need to make an ADR for?
I'd say yes.
As you can see from the photos,
it was pretty packed.
Even with my ADR, I had to

wait for a few minutes.

I doubt I'll ever buy in.
Even with resale.
I suppose never say never, but...

Maybe if I get a cash windfall?
OK that does look good! I added it to our list!
I liked it!
Next time I want to try
the candied bacon there.
Of course she was....
::yes::
 It happens to the best of us.
Tragic when you think
about breaking up with a fish.

It was pretty good, thanks! Happy New Year to you
Right back atcha, Tracy!
Yikes. I don't know how you did all you did throughout the day... :headache:
I'm not quite sure either!
What?! How cool! I don't think I've ever been the first guest of the day anywhere. Except maybe Impressions de France
Not sure if that's on anyone's
bucket list.
"Okay... Item one... be the first

guest in Impressions de France!!!"
This is AWESOME! You have the best ride photos ever. :thumbsup2:thumbsup2
 Thanks!
Glad you like them. :goodvibes

Still need to do this... every trip I say I will :sad2:
I only did it because I'd been
earlier that year and didn't feel
the need to "ride all the rides!"
O M G. You may have solved a decades-long mystery for me, pkondz. But if so, you do know someone who has gone here. I have a memory in my head from when I went with my family as a kid and I never knew where the place must have been or if it still existed. Never occurred to me that it would have been this spot.
Well, you're welcome!
That's the whole reason
I went!
"I don't know anyone who's

been there... I'll let people know!"

Glad I could clear up that mystery
for you!

Nope!!
What a great day despite that completely unpleasant start. But the whole Ariel thing was a bit of a bummer... :sad2: I'll have a stern talking to with that girl next time I'm down there. :thumbsup2
I mean... IASW?? Really?
Why not Splash? BTMRR? PP? POTC?

IASW?????

Very true. Even a 40 minute
nap would be better than none.

I'm know for my "cat naps". They are real refreshers.

Nah. Just work on getting
your elbows up.

I was very close to doing this.

They normally don't see me.
But I did wonder what the
girl in the second photo,

seated beside me was thinking.

I would think someone would say something as soon as they saw the photo at the exit. Most people head straight there to see what they look like.

I didn't.
Here's the original PP photo:

462030

I feel much better knowing you didn't take a knife into the park.

I like chocolate... a lot.
But I don't want it in
a breakfast offering.

I like the chocolate croissant for breakfast so I think I would like this too. I'm thinking more as a mid morning snack. I've learned it can't be an afternoon snack the hard way.

Nope! Float all the way!!!

Nope!

They don't have the show
anymore (as far as I know),
but it was a new place

to eat, for me.

We did this in 1999. I don't think they have had the saloon type entertainment for many, many years.

And the candied bacon is on
my list for my next trip. :)

It's good. I'll have to find out which is better.

I showed her the previous photos,
and explained to her what I do.
Then I asked her to pretend she
was on a roller coaster, scared and
bored. I got different results
than what I expected from her,
(except the coaster one)

but that's okay too. :)

She did really well. It's great she played along with you.

I was very close to doing this.
I completely believe this.
I would think someone would say something as soon as they saw the photo at the exit. Most people head straight there to see what they look like.
I have had a few people laugh
when they've seen their photo.
I've also gotten a couple
of nods from people watching

the ride from the bridge.
I feel much better knowing you didn't take a knife into the park.
That probably would've earned me
a nice lifetime ban!

I like the chocolate croissant for breakfast so I think I would like this too. I'm thinking more as a mid morning snack. I've learned it can't be an afternoon snack the hard way.
Oh? What happens?
Tummy troubles?

We did this in 1999. I don't think they have had the saloon type entertainment for many, many years.
I think you're right.
It's good. I'll have to find out which is better.
::yes::
She did really well. It's great she played along with you.
Well... now I'm wondering if I
should just stop doing this
considering what happened

last November.

Once the throng was allowed
to enter, I hopped on a car
for a relaxing, leisurely jaunt
down Main St. USA.
I have never ever been in any of the Main Street vehicles. Not a car, nor trolley. It's a shame. I always say "we should do that" and never do.

Speaking of favourite ride,
I was simply beside myself
with fright when I rode HM.
Very cool. I guess it wasn't much of a sacrifice for you to ride twice?

Far too many chocolate chips.
At that time of morning, for
breakfast, I just don't normally
like or want a lot of chocolate.
I can see that, and I may feel the same way. My girls would probably like it. They love chocolate chip pancakes on the weekends. I always have plain. Just too much chocolate that early.

There are two tables, one on either
side of the stage, set on elevated
platforms.
It's very set apart and offers plenty
of elbow room and privacy.
Looks great. I think the only time I have ever been inside this building was during the Halloween party in 2010. Then it was a dance party with the Toy Story characters. That was fun! DD was not quite 3 at the time and she loved dancing with Bullseye.
For the menu, I generally can work up enough of an appetite that and all you can eat meat fest is worth it for me.

I passed the line for the Speedway
and shook my head.
I just can't imagine standing in
line for the chance to slowly
jerk around a track.
Nope. Not for me.
I would never wait for it solo and I don't have much interest in it now. But I have waited nearly an hour for it. At the insistence of my girls. They both loved it when they were younger. But I think they have out grown it now, because they didn't ask to do it last trip (and I didn't remind them about it).

She quickly nodded, I picked
her up (fins... you know...)
and we headed out for some
rides.
You are really out doing yourself with the photoshop. All I can say is well done.

I have never ever been in any of the Main Street vehicles. Not a car, nor trolley. It's a shame. I always say "we should do that" and never do.
Do it next time. :)
It's ridiculously easy.
Just walk up and ask
for a ride. That's just
what they're there for

and want to do.
Very cool. I guess it wasn't much of a sacrifice for you to ride twice?
Ride twice? No idea what
you could be referring to.

Although there was indeed

a sacrifice.

:rolleyes1
I can see that, and I may feel the same way. My girls would probably like it. They love chocolate chip pancakes on the weekends. I always have plain. Just too much chocolate that early.
Yep. I'm the same.
Not a fan of chocolate chips
in my pancakes.
But... I like chocolate.

I just don't want it for breakfast.
Looks great. I think the only time I have ever been inside this building was during the Halloween party in 2010. Then it was a dance party with the Toy Story characters. That was fun! DD was not quite 3 at the time and she loved dancing with Bullseye.
:goodvibes
For the menu, I generally can work up enough of an appetite that and all you can eat meat fest is worth it for me.
Then this might be a
place for you to try. :)

I would never wait for it solo and I don't have much interest in it now. But I have waited nearly an hour for it. At the insistence of my girls. They both loved it when they were younger. But I think they have out grown it now, because they didn't ask to do it last trip (and I didn't remind them about it).
Oh, dear.
Just slipped your mind,
didn't it?
You are really out doing yourself with the photoshop. All I can say is well done.
Thanks! :)

I went to the bathroom
and might have squealed
in pain as I partially threw
my back out.

Oh no, that's terrible! I'm impressed that you managed to get any sleep at all (not to mention that you still made it to a park that day)!

But I know a trick or two and...
By skirting around the crowd to
the right, I was able to position
myself fairly close to the entrance.

Impressive! It's much easier to do this when you're traveling by yourself. ;)

I was the first guest of the day on 7DMT.

Nice! I've been near the front on a few rides (I think I once had a first flight on Soarin' and I was very near the front of the line on Peter Pan), but 7DMT is impressive!

What could be better than sitting
in jammies and a housecoat, sipping
a mug of coffee (or in my case, hot
chocolate) and perusing the morning
paper?

:rotfl2:

Frankly, not much! (As I sit here in my sweatshirt, drinking a chai latte, and perusing trip reports...)

Speaking of favourite ride,
I was simply beside myself
with fright when I rode HM.

That picture is great!

I'm sure you've noted your favorite ride before and I don't remember (I know it's not IASW! ), but what is your all-parks favorite ride? Mine has been Tower of Terror for YEARS... I'm hoping I get to ride it at least once on our trip with the toddler! (Once may be all I'll get!)

Please keep your cutting remarks
to yourselves.

There was a guy who got his entire left side cut off.

Don't worry, he is all right now.

;)

(Your HM ride photo is awesome, by the way!)

OMG.... soooo good.

I knew I wasn't far off when my (incorrect) guess about you visiting MK would've included (another incorrect guess about you buying) a Dole Whip Float!

I was able
to help Peter defeat the
pirates.

Your pictures from Peter Pan are amazing!!! I can never get pictures to turn out in there!

And... it must be done...

Indeed it must. :goodvibes

I managed to rebook at...

Wow, I had no idea that restaurant was even open! Yours is the first review I've read!

I think you made the right call to try a new (and rarely reviewed!) spot.

(I do recommend you try the LTT burger sometime thought... SO GOOD!)

Was it the best meal I've ever had?
Well... no. Of course not.:rotfl2:
Was it good?
Yes, I'd give it a thumb's up.

I like that they have both an "all you can eat" and a la carte options. I'd probably pick something off the menu, too! That potato salad in particular looks quite tasty!

I just can't imagine standing in
line for the chance to slowly
jerk around a track.

Sadly, I will probably be one of those people in the next few years. :sad2:

(Oh, who are we kidding... no I won't. You know we'll ride that either early or late to cut down out wait in line! I don't wait in lines!)

It was really tasty!

My goodness, that looks DELICIOUS! I've never read about that snack... and now I want one!

Oh no, that's terrible! I'm impressed that you managed to get any sleep at all (not to mention that you still made it to a park that day)!
Luckily, it wasn't fully blown out.
Then I wouldn't have left the room
and would've had a lot of trouble
even getting back to the bed,

let alone on it.
Impressive! It's much easier to do this when you're traveling by yourself. ;)
This has been pointed out to me. :)
Nice! I've been near the front on a few rides (I think I once had a first flight on Soarin' and I was very near the front of the line on Peter Pan), but 7DMT is impressive!
I thought so too!
Frankly, not much! (As I sit here in my sweatshirt, drinking a chai latte, and perusing trip reports...)
See? We're practically twins!
That picture is great!
Thanks! :)
It depends on the question.
Favourite themed ride?
Favourite thrill ride?
Favourite new ride?
And sometimes they change,
depending on my mood.

But over all?
That's an easy one.

HM all the way, baby.
There was a guy who got his entire left side cut off.

Don't worry, he is all right now.

;)
I like that! Perfect Dad joke!
(Your HM ride photo is awesome, by the way!)
Thanks again! :goodvibes

:rolleyes1

PP is a tough ride to get
photos from.
You're moving a lot more
quickly than you think,
plus jerking from side to side...
Even with a high speed lens,

it's not easy.

I've never seen anyone talk
about it before!
And... I'm dying to try that
LTT burger... but knew that
I'd have a chance at some point...

but might not at the other place.
I like that they have both an "all you can eat" and a la carte options. I'd probably pick something off the menu, too! That potato salad in particular looks quite tasty!
It was good. Had a nice smoky
taste to it that I liked.

Sadly, I will probably be one of those people in the next few years. :sad2:

I'm sorry for your pain!
My goodness, that looks DELICIOUS! I've never read about that snack... and now I want one!
It was good! @lvcourtneyy tipped
me off to that one.
Next time, I need to try the candied

bacon that they have there too.

Ouch, not a fun way to start your day but it sounds like the day only got better.

I don't think I realized the Diamond Horseshoe was actually a restaurant 😁 Might have to give that one a try.

Glad you had a fun afternoon with Ariel...until the unfortunate ending!

Ugh. The worst.
I've had that happen
a few times.

Not fun.

Nope.

No worries, Liesa.
I've read what you're going
through and totally understand.

I'm slowly improving a little each day, and well enough to fly to Tucson tomorrow to visit some friends. Found super chear fares and want to get down there to do a little desert photography.

But if you pronounced it
"horsey-riding"...

Well, of course!

I had my Official Red Ryder
Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot
Range Model Air Rifle.
It has a compass in the stock.

(And this thing that tells time.)

Then you're set!!! No better weapon!
Just don't shoot your eye out.

Yes. Very sad.
Only 8-11 decades and... done.

Tragic.

Such a stunted existence. :sad2:

Probably half asleep.
Many of the village children
were still sleeping at that hour.

You should have been too.

I got chicken fried rice.

I'll take the propofol.

But if you'd been in my pj's
rolling over would wake me up!

OH dear! Well, we can't have that! You're already far too sleep deprived!

Of course it sounded bad.
You're forcing me to get roomier pj's!

And... of course I wear shoes to bed.
But only in Disney. That way when the
alarm sounds, I can be up and out
in a flash.

I pride myself on how fast I can be up and out.

but only in Disney. HAHA!

Right?
I actually thought of you when
I took that photo.

"This is something Liesa would shoot."

It totally is! And something I'd even buy too.

Just a little game of
Hyde and Stab.

LOL!

Interesting comment.
I think of that at Telephoto photography.
I found this:
The term 'macro photography' describes the art of taking close-up photographs of subjects. Traditionally for a photograph to be considered a true macro photograph the subject should be rendered as life-sized or larger than life-sized.

So we're both right. You use the first line,
while I subscribe more to the traditional
definition of Macro Photography.

I guess you're right. :)

No meat in my meal.
Chicken... but not beef.
It was tasty and not

overly heavy.

Wait, you don't consider chicken meat? 🤷‍♀️
"Don't worry about hands, arms and legs.
This ride is boring enough as it is. Go wild."

True enough. Been about 4 years since I was on it last... boring.

So I'm reading the Unofficial Guide to Disneyland to prepare for our trip in September and they had this quote:

A dad from New Brunswick, Canada, gives this advice for surviving the Happiest Cruise That Ever Sailed: Ask to sit at the back of the boat. Pull out your earbuds once you’re in the building, and blast some heavy metal. You’d be amazed how different and deceptively funny the ride becomes!

Was it you??

Love this!

Cool Photo. I love BTMRR although HM is my all time favorite ride.

I really like these but also love chocolate croissants.

I have actually never seen this open. Could be interesting to try one time. I would also order a la carte.

Definitely would not be waiting in this line. The smell alone is enough to make a person sick.

I won't go into all the details
of the DVC spiel.
It was interesting and informative...
but I just don't think it's for me.

My grandmother bought into DVC way back when it was only Old Key West. We used it many times when I was a kid, including going to DLP. My DH and I looked into buying out own points and we decide the cost was not worth it to us. We didn't want Disney to be the default vacation and we didn't think we would get enough value for the money we would be spending.

After that torture was over,
I dropped her off back at
the grotto and told her I'd
have to rethink our future.

I don't mind IASW every once in a while, especially if it is really hot. Nice place to catch some A/C.
