If you have multiple people in your group, would you advise to have 2 people try to get a boarding group at the same time? Going next week and getting a little nervous. Thanks!

So apparently he's never had a CM give him incorrect information

Don't bother reading it. Basically he's just saying since he got 2 hrs, it's false that anyone got 1.

Makes sense. If it doesn't happen to you there's no way it could have happened to anyone else.

One thing I'm confused about. Have one person linked to me on MDE. They will be in WDW but not going to DHS that morning with me. When I hit Join Boarding Group what happens? Will it say sorry your other person hasn’t scanned in to park or will it ask who’s joining BG? Thanks.

There is a second screen after you hit "join boarding group". By default, the owner of the MDE account (I assume you're using your own account) will be selected and you will have the option of selecting other friends/family if you want them to also be in your boarding group. Since you won't need to add anyone, you'll just click again to actually complete the process and get assigned your group.

Kenny the Pirate swears it's all still 2 hours. Something seemed off about that. I would have thought he'd be more skeptical of CM stories.

and on the flip side I am seeing other places refer to it as a change to all being 1 hour now

I think it is because it isn't one or the other but rather both depending on what BG you get/when it is called that is confusing people

Assuming the same system is in place, your odds are low. You might get a backup BG and they might call it before the day's over. Maybe. If you're good with that, then that's fine. If not, get there before the park opens. This all assumes the same system will be in place when you're there.

We had boarding group 43. We were eating lunch when we were called at 11:12. We had a two hour window to get back to the ride.

Yes, it is. Don't arrive at DHS five minutes before the park opens. You'll never get through security in time. Give yourself at least 20 minutes.

I believe it's been 7:30 at this point. If you want Disney transport, they run buses.

I would walk. Beach club doesn’t have busses to DHS typically unless there’s an issue with the boats. I don’t think the boats open until later.

We were at the Epcot IG last night, and the Skyliner had posted hours of operation starting at 6:30 for all 3 lines. So it may vary day to day.

Beach Club is not a Skyliner resort in case you didn't realize, although it's quite close to the International Gateway Skyliner station (at Epcot).

There is no bus to DHS from Beach Club. There is a boat launch, but you'll be much better off walking if you are able. It's about 20-25 minutes from BC depending on your pace.

I literally just googled this. It is 1.2 miles and takes about 20-30 minutes depending on your walking speed.
