April Check-In **Official**

UPDATE: The Dine Line announced that the WOC refurb has been extended through 5/04. First packages are available to book on 5/05 now. I've put this on the first page.

This is a real bummer. Not only are we going to miss Dapper Days but we're losing out on a great chance to stay at the Grand Californian due to the excellent rate we got through Dapper Days. I'm not even going to bother asking Disney if they can offer us the rate at a later date in the year.

My fiance and I are facing the reality that the park may shut down with the rate everything is spreading, and we might need to cancel our April 27-30 trip. It would my first time back in 10 years, and our first trip together. Oh well. We will see how this goes, one day at a time.

Our trip is April 18. We will likely cancel, but will wait to do so. With things changing so quickly it’s hard to know. I can’t imagine things getting better by mid-April, though.

Our kids’ schools just closed through April 24.

We are very close to cancelling our trip April 8-11. Amazingly, DH's conference has not been cancelled, yet.....
There is so much uncertainty but we will see how it all plays out as we have to up to a week before to cancel our hotel reservations. Luckily we're only driving.

Since they announced the Avengers? campus opening in July, I thought that maybe we should just push our trip to our summer dates. Sorry, Washington DC - we'll just have to see you some other time! I don't know if I'll feel comfortable flying anywhere this summer.

And the park is officially closed from Saturday through the end of March... pretty sure we are going to start canceling too. Can't imagine things are going to be better by mid-April...

Dapper Days fall.............................

Oof, 10 years and first trip together... that hurts to read :sad1:

Now the wait begins to see if our trip from the 12 - 14th will happen. With all the travel waivers in place, it will be a game time decision!

So my trip begins April 5th. I’m waiting to see if the dates extend before I officially cancel my trip. My sister’s trip is canceled, she was going March 24-28 (first trip). Anyone know how the Disney Travel Co is handling cancelations/changes? (I booked through Costco). Will they refund the whole booking, or just the hotel?

Hey everyone. Well, it looked like things were settling in my life and I was looking forward to final trip planning and taking back over thread duties... and then today happened. My family has cancelled our trip, as we were scheduled to visit March 30-April 4; we are hoping to visit in August instead. However, I am still happy to host this thread, if you want me to, and I do want to extend a sincere thank you to @theluckyrabbit for holding the fort for me.

I don't know about anyone else, but I feel like I've been standing on quicksand for four days. I do not like it. I hope things settle down very soon, that everyone stays health and well, and that the park reopen in April as planned. Stay safe, everyone!

Sadly, just "Officially cancelled. April 16-April 19th". This trip was to celebrate my Mom's 90th birthday. Due to her age, we just don't want to risk her traveling at this time. We've all had a whirl wind of emotions over this. We will reschedule later to take her and celebrate at Disneyland. Sending wishes of good health to all of you.
