I’m actually in the hospital right now. Water broke around 8 pm last night and we went to the hospital. They said he should be born around 8 am so we’re getting close. I’m just laying in the bed trying to relax. I did end up taking the epidural but waited long enough that it didn’t slow things down. No pitocin so it’s been all natural besides the epidural. Hopefully we’ll meet him soon

I have done this. I made quite a few tentative Dec reservations, constantly cancelling one to secure another as I was trying to piece together a trip on short notice and I did tap into 2019 points a couple times. I'm wondering if I secured the eventual, final resort at a time when I hadn't cancelled the previous reservation first. Only thing that makes sense...

Obviously too late to do anything about it now, but when you are dealing with banked and current points like that. Once you have the final reservation, go in and modify it online without changing a thing and it will reallocate the points used for the reservation to automatically use banked points if there are any in your account. Saves you a call to MS and you can always make sure you are using banked points when they might not have been free when the original reservation was made.

And I see DVC's problem: they now have roughly 3 extra months of points to be accommodated over the next year or so, and it was hard enough to get reservations before this.

Even if DVC did nothing to accommodate the people with April and June UYs they would face a squeeze because people are banking more points into the future instead of using them in 2019. I just banked 137 points yesterday that I originally planned to use this August. The trip might still happen, but I don't want to risk those points and I have a Sept UY so I have to bank in the next 5-6 days. That's 137 extra points reserved for 2021. Multiply that by ?X and the DVC system is going to have too many points chasing too few rooms for the near future.

A typical workday wake up for me is 9am. I was hoping for a 10-10:30 wake up today. But apparently in lieu of that we’ll just have to supplement with a 3rd and maybe 4th nap today

Finally found an okay use for my uber eats credit. Even with "free delivery" I was looking at $12 for service fee and tip for Carrabba's. Anyway, Blaze pizza had large pizzas for pickup for $9 - $10. So the kids are having pizza for dinner
