Followed you over here from the DL trip report board, I'm really enjoying your report so far but haven't commented until now.
A few things I wanted to comment on:
My husband and I did the Behind the Seeds tour in 2010 and it was really cool. He used to have a Greenhouse/Nursery business so that stuff really interests him. I would definitely do it again. It is not really scripted, there are things they cover on all tours but the guides are usually college kids studying various related subjects so depending on your guide you might get more of whatever aspect they are more proficient in.
I can't wait to ride the Frozen ride because I love that movie but I am so sad that they took out the Maelstrom. So glad that we got to ride it on our last trip (in 2014) we actually got to ride it right at the end, I think it closed a day or 2 afterwards. I also miss the little movie they used to play at the end, I know a lot of people didn't like it and would skip it but I liked it, Norway is such a beautiful country. Fjords and huge mountains, waterfalls, etc. It means a lot more to me now because in the last couple of years I have rediscovered my love for the band, a-ha, ("Take on Me" ) they were really popular in the mid-late 80's and they are from Norway. I thought they were long gone until about 2 years ago when I found out they are still very much active. I actually just saw them in concert in Paris (and went to
Disneyland Paris, too
) I have plans to see them again in September in LA and go to Disneyland, too but now that is all up in the air due to the Covid stuff.
My Hubby and I took that 2014 trip with my Dad and I wanted to try lots of different places because we had been so many times (my Dad has been even more then me).
We went to Boma on our arrival day. We really enjoyed it. I remember really liking an African veggie soup they had there. And you hear so much about the Zebra Domes on here so much and they were good but not my favorite. I really liked these other things, I think they were called Kenyan coffee tarts. It was a coffee flavored mousse type stuff in a chocolate shell.
I really enjoyed the food at Via Napoli too but the service was REALLY slow.
