I'm so excited! I got a room! The plan was to book a standard room in the Contemporary. Well, I ended up with a tower room lake view. It was the cheapest thing they had left. The super sweet and helpful woman on the phone also checked the Poly, Grand Floridian, and Wilderness Lodge. The room I booked was the cheapest out of all of the resorts. Wilderness Lodge had club level and up rooms. The Poly only had suites.

So glad I was able to get something near the Magic Kingdom. Super happy to be at the Contemporary, and to be able to walk to the Magic Kingdom.

I am booked at CR as well. Looking forward to the festivities but to be honest, anything would be better than lock down because of Rona right now.

Even club level at Contemporary was snatched up pretty fast. I was unable to get the CL TPV room I wanted so my TA booked me CL Standard, which also overlooks the lake. I'm honestly so excited, I've never been a huge fan of CR's theming but I can't help geeking out at being at one of the original 2 resorts for such a milestone anniversary, and for the first time! Looks like there's going to be a pretty hefty contingent of folks from the boards at CR that weekend too.

Yeah my TA got me the CL TPV room. I heard they were extremely hard to get. I love CR and really like the room refurb from a few years ago. Their CL did not really wow me last time so hopefully this time I will feel different.

Yes 499 days before check-in date. You can get a basic package with a $200 deposit until the actual pricing is announced. If you go with a Room Only (RO) then it is the highest nightly rate (Holiday rate for this year and will be adjusted when RO rates come out for 2021).

I wanted so my TA booked me CL Standard, which also overlooks the lake.

Sunrise can be beauty-full over Bay lake from a Tower balcony at the CR to start your day. It can also be a great place for a quite beverage in the evening watching the activities on Bay lake vs the burning sun sets on the west side (MK, Seven Seas Lagoon and Poly / GF and can be extremely hot.

And and @kylenne le indicated along with many of us you can always watch the fireworks from the double balconies from the CL lounge overlook the Seven Seas lagoon and the MK for Fireworks.

We are planning to go in late August 2021. I am finding no availability at AoA or POFQ. Are they limiting the bookings? It seems hard to believe that everyone is going on August 25th, which is typically a slower time.

Online can only be booked thru December. For next year you need to call.

She offered to book the 29th-30th for me but wasn't able to book beyond that. Should I just call back and try again? I was looking to book Sept 29-Oct 6 2021...

We decided to book Pop Century for now. Hoping to maybe switch and rent DVC points once it is available to start booking. Anybody have thoughts on switching to OKW/ Saratoga or should I keep Pop now that it is on the skyliner?

My TA told me the same thing. I’m waiting on basic package for 10/3-10/5 for my anniversary.

I think I'd call back. I was able to make a reservation one week ago today for 9/30/21 through 10/4/21. It was a room only reservation with a one night deposit. The rate is not guaranteed and may increase or decrease when the official rates are released

Definitely call back! I was told the same thing about September 30 when I called on Thursday and couldn't book a room-only. I called back on Friday with a different CM, and booked a room for Sept 29- October 2.

I know room only can be booked but a basic package can’t yet. Since we are booking a deluxe for our anniversary the difference is a deposit of around $800 for room only or $200 for basic package. Since this trip is still 16 months away I don’t want to tie up an extra $600 in deposits.

My dreams agent was able to book me over the weekend for CBR September 30th - October 6th 2021 under the basic package. We had two rooms an d the deposit was $200 per room. I am not sure why others haven’t been able to book a basic package in the same time frame. Maybe deluxe hasn’t released prices yet?

We booked Pop Century and also got the basic package, 200$/room using a dreams agent!
