Try using your laptop to order. I find it easier to navigate through the screens. We also have a hard time finding anywhere we want to order from. Dd is a picky vegetarian, which makes finding a place that has even 1 item she will consider eating very difficult (she says she prefers my cooking -- yay me I guess :rolleyes1).
Thank you both! I'll try the computer next time....

My Shades of Green is in the system today. I was able to add it, but then had to log into P2's MDE to add guests (he's lead on the reservation). Got myself added, but I can't get the kids added. So, I can make park reservations for 2 of us, but not 4 of us. :badpc:

I really do not want to call Disney. I'm trying to get a chat window to see if they can do anything, but in the meantime has anyone had this issue and know a workaround?

ok..... I'm feeling really dumb today but here's another question....how do I go about erasing a CSR grocery purchase? (at the 1.5x special deal) I can see the purchase, but how do I find an option to pay myself back?

Okay, I was getting obsessed with reading the reservations thread even though I've mostly resolved my problem, so after this post I'm putting the laptop away and taking a shower and having lunch.

But before I do that, let me tell you that I also have another smaller issue.
I not only have my November trip.

I have a January trip and a February trip, which with the extention, my current AP which actually expires Nov 6 without extending it, would cover with the 117 days. An extended AP would go to March 3rd if I'm counting correctly.

However, 117 days worth of AP money back in my pocket should be a couple hundred more or less, unless they short it some way.

But, I have multiple NO Expiry 10 day tickets plus a single 1 day no expiry ticket. In January and February I'm not really pressed to visit parks, so I could use a day or two and be happy, especially if I spend the February week with my non park going family.

So, since going in winter is to get away from winter, I think I'm further ahead to take the refund, and play it by ear with the parks. First off, introducing 'new' ticket media into my MDE right now might cause another mess. The tickets I have may also interfere with my voucher which I don't intend to activate until Nov 2021. This IT is just way too messy right now.

There’s a specific page to do this. When logged in to your account, go to the page where you can see your current points. The drop down menu (upper left corner on my iPad) has an option for pay yourself back and you select that. That’s been the easiest way I’ve found.

BoA sent out emails today.

1) BoA Travel Rewards points can now be redeemed against grocery stores, dining and takeout purchases through Dec. 31, 2020.
2) BoA Premium Rewards cards will receive a $50 statement credit for purchases at a grocery stores, dining, and takeout through Dec. 31, 2020.
This is fantastic! I was wondering if BoA was going to do anything special like some of the other banks. :cheer2:

Question to those who use Mint or some other money tracking program:

How are you accounting for the money that you're paying yourself back in the program? When I use the UR portal to pay for travel expenses, I just basically zero it out. I put the charge to that specific vacation and then the credit goes to it as well for a net zero cost.

When I'm paying myself back for groceries, I want to basically keep my grocery costs the same and put the credit toward travel. I'm thinking the two options are to put it into a vacation expense as a negative amount (so I guess it would sit there with a negative expense until I spend money to put against it) OR I could possibly set up a goal category and put the money in there until I use it. I've never set up a goal, so not entire sure how that works in mint.

just wondered what others are doing with these new credits.

And done! That was handled quickly and easily over chat. I clicked around and around that darn website trying to trigger a chat popup. When you don't want it, it's always there, but when you want it you can't trigger it. The wait was minimal and days are now reserved.

Oh, private school peeps, do your high schools have weighted classes? This is one aspect that hasn’t been discussed with us but, apparently, DS’s school doesn’t have weighted classes. So an AP class is the same as any other class and they don’t have levels like public school did with honors, academic, etc. I wonder how they compete for college when other kids can have over a 4.0 GPA.

In addition to what everyone else said they will also look at strength of schedule. They will know the AP and Honors courses that are available to him at his particular school and see that he is taking a rigorous schedule. There is a difference between a 4.0 with just on level classes and a 4.0 with honors/AP classes. If he wants to go into Engineering or other STEM field make sure he can take the highest level of math and science classes offered.

Check Walmart for the iPhone SE upgrade deal. The 256gb is $11.63/mo for 30 months ($349) and can be paid off early (suggestions were to wait 30+ days) without costing anymore because it's a straight discount. AT&T does charge an upgrade fee of $30 but I believe they charge that for any new phone. You may be able to find some of the old Slickdeals threads discussing this by googling it. Apparently this deal is good through July 17th, per a CNN article.
In March, DD had her iPhone 8 knocked into a hot tub and it wasn't working well afterwards (couldn't connect to wifi or Bluetooth, screen was glitchy, etc.) so when I saw this Walmart deal on Slickdeals, I offered to get it for her. She was hesitant at first because she wants the 12 when it comes out but who knows how much that's going to cost so we got her the red iPhone 64gb for a total of $199 plus the upgrade fee. We preordered the phone through Walmart and once it arrived and we got it set up she loves it. IF the iPhone12 isn't too ridiculously priced when released and she still wants it, she can trade this one in for the credit.

Boy am I lost without my phone. I ended up doing this deal. I decided on the 128GB for $8.30/month or $249 total. Seemed too good of a deal to pass up. I am still unclear why it was such a good deal, lol. I hope I didn't sign anything that said I agree to give my first born or anything (though since she is 22 now they won't want her either lol). The 11Pro was sooooo tempting, DH even told me I was worth it and I should get it. But at the $700 difference, I just couldn't do it. My thinking right now is I will keep this SE for a few months and then maybe have DH take it when the new phones come out and I will get an 11Pro when the price drops. We will see. It is supposed to get here tomorrow, though I haven't gotten any tracking info yet, so who knows if that will actually happen.

Yes! I've been wondering what to do with the orphan points on DH's Travel Rewards card since it's less than the 2500 minimum point redemption, and I want to pc it to a 2nd Cash Rewards card. This will make it easy to reach 2500 points and cash out before pc'ing.

I have sock drawered my BOA premium rewards after meeting MSR and getting the bonus points. The fine print made me pause - You will receive a $50 statement credit within 14 weeks of making $50 in combined qualifying purchases. So it sounds like I can purchase and pay for the groceries, then months later get the statement credit? I guess I could ask for a refund of the credit at that point. Hopefully they won't follow up on the threat of sending a 1099 for it!

Lol....I thought your first born was pretty special after reading her blog!

yeah...I kept trying that, and it kept taking me to the delivery page at the end....I think I'll use computer next time to see if I can make it work
Once you click on one of the restaurants in the pickup tab this is what it looks like for me. Under the displayed distance away there is a toggle to make sure you have pickup selected (it defaulted to pickup for me as long I select the restaurant through the pickup tab). It stays pickup throughout checkout. Make sure you aren’t selecting a restaurant until you have selected the pickup tab at the bottom of the app to make sure aren’t picking a restaurant that doesn’t do pickup. Other than those potential issues, I have run out potential solutions. I know that I have likely been as helpful as Disney IT, but I tried 🤷🏻‍♀️

I applied for DH's Chase Hyatt card last night and got a message basically saying it was under review. I logged into his account today and there isn't one showing and under Application Status it has this "You may have active applications not shown here and could have received communications from us about those applications."
Is this standard for Chase now?
I also noticed that his credit limit on his Marriott card has been reduced by $15,000 and his CSR by $3,000. I was going to reduce the credit limit on his Marriott anyway and forgot but having them do it without notification is kind of freaking me out a bit.

Call the status line and see what it says. 800 432 3117. I'm not as good as the others that know the prompts and I'm only slightly positive this works for personal cards cause it's only ever talked about for biz cards. Someone will correct me I'm sure 😊
