Silly irritations

What bothers you that you know is silly, but you can't help but be irritated?

Today mine is all of those riddles people post on Facebook. Sometimes they are math, but most times they are word riddles. What really bothers me is the whole "I will let you know when you are right so you can continue the post, but don't tell anyone!" and then the OP keeps posting 'wrong' as people make guesses. So many of these have more than one answer!

Grrrr. It is silly. But so annoying!

I like those riddles, and yes, they are not math riddles, but the ones I’ve seen only have one answer. I don’t like them because I don’t want to repost them on my page and answer people all day.

The posts that cite a percentage such as "82 % won't re-post this" Wrong...100% of the people reading it think it is stupid and won't re-post.
Why are they reposted?! “Look at this sad puppy, I bet it doesn’t even one share.” What is the purpose? Does that puppy want it’s picture shared? I honestly don’t get t and have almost asked the question when they show up on my feed.

When the foil safety seals on food & medications are ridiculously super glued on, and even when you pierce the center and attempt to peel off you still cannot get all the foil to pull away.

It irritates me, :confused3, it just does.
We’re talking to you Imodium! It takes a scissor and having to cut around the entire tablet. What if you are somewhere without a scissor?

I get very irritated by fast food workers that can't get my order right. It doesn't even have to be a complicated order for them to mess up. How hard is it to read a screen/receipt and follow instructions??

I'm an Engineer at a DOD company - my job is hard work. Throwing Fries in a bag is not...

Funny story to go with: I was 9 months pregnant - craving some McD's fries bad. So I waddled myself away from work, drove to McD's, ordered a combo, and waddled myself back to my desk. I opened the bag - No Fries!!! I cried so hard!! lol :rotfl2:

I really get annoyed at 4 way stops when it’s their turn and they just sit there waiting for the red carpet because another car is still moving - and clearly stopping but hasn’t fully stopped. Jeez. Get on with it already.

I give people 3 seconds to start moving once it’s their turn or I’m going.

All of the "we're in this together" messages in ads. Reality check; you are making reference to, and essentially hoping to profit off of the emotional reaction to a WORLDWIDE PANDEMIC! Are you kidding me?

Edit to add;
That goes for 21 Pilots and that stupid "Level of Concern" song too. URGH! I change the station EVERY time.

For some reason service people working at any of my neighbor's houses always seem to park in front of my house. It IS a public street, and it is perfectly legal, and isn't a problem, but if you are cutting the lawn, fixing the HVAC, cleaning the pool, cleaning the house, delivering GrubHub, and there are no cars in the street in front of the house where you are going, I would think you would park in front of that house.
Today, I had my garbage cans and my car in front of my house. My neighbor across the street and one house down has a house cleaner. I was watching today as he arrived. The house he works at had no cars in front of it with room for two cars to park, and no cars in a driveway that has room for three cars. He went two houses past that house (and one house past mine), turned around and parked two houses from where he was working, in front of a fire hydrant. Did I mention that there was a parking space in front of the house immediately next door to the house he was working at, but he elected to park two houses away, illegally.

I encounter lots of road irks, but this is one of the worst:

A large group of kids in my neighborhood that casually, slowly walk in the middle and both lanes of the road, especially near an intersection. Cars approach, the children don't care, they feel entitled to own the road. They don't understand that all it takes is a drunk driver or someone texting who is not going to expect kids to be right there in their way.

Much of this finally stopped weeks ago, but every now and then it happens with a smaller group.

Edit: I apologize, OP, you did say "Silly" so I'm going with toilet paper placed where the hanging end is against the wall.

Yes! I've seen the one of the little puppy with its head down and the caption is something like "I bet I won't get even one share" when the dog is probably really thinking about either eating or peeing. It's like guilt porn or something.

Those and the ones that say "I know who among my friends will share this and who won't!" and "I bet most of my friends won't share this" and it's usually something religious or political. I never share those because if I have to prove my friendship to somebody by sharing a post then we probably aren't really friends anyway.

Oh, so many!

Trite, overused phrases like: asking for a friend, just sayin’, at the end of the day, etc.

When my husband yawns and he turns it into a Tarzan call.

Way too many emojis accompanying a text.

People who laugh way too loud. Nothing is ever THAT funny, Ashley.
