Disney's YACHT & BEACH CLUB RESORTS Information & Questions

Apologizing as I did a quick search first, but just need to ensure I am correct, cabana rentals can now be booked 60 days in advance, no longer 180 days, correct? And thanks big time!
Cabanas can be reserved 60 days from check in, not rental date..
I missed that so didn't get one on my 60th day.

Can you add us to the Be Our Guest list?
My family of 5 and DH's brother, SIL, our niece and my MIL are all staying at the BC late march 2022.

This is my family's 2nd trip (we stayed at BC Nov 2019) and everyone else's 1st! Hoping and praying our vacationing styles mesh! 😬 We are rope-droppers. Them...probably not so much! So it's up to me to figure out how we can all get our money's worth.

From experience: tell them how you plan to do things and don’t be scared to leave folks. This ain’t Saving Private Ryan lol. Try to meet up for meals or certain attractions. Too much togetherness will make y’all want to strangle each other anyway, no matter how well you otherwise get along. Disney is over stimulating and stress inducing at times.

I see a lot of people talking about renting the cabanas, I never really put much thought into it before. But, DH and I are staying at BC next year and I know he wants to have a relaxing pool day. Is renting a cabana worth it for just two people?

It’s his first real trip to WDW (he’s only done day trips when he had layovers in Orlando as a flight attendant). So I’m trying to make this trip AMAZING so that he falls in love with it and wants to go every year like me, haha! We’re doing one week at BC and one at Poly since he said those two resorts had his fave pools.

thank you! i was worried the info was out of date and was looking for real world experiences. glad to know it's all good!
I am not familiar with Instacart, but you had mentioned alcohol. We ordered from Garden Grocer in August soon after the parks reopened. It was delivered to bell services at CR while we were at the parks. We were able to order alcohol. Just wanted to mention this tid bit.

I sure will! I promise to do it before your actual trip. :rolleyes1

I have had a devil of a time keeping up here. I most recently posted replies to the posts on Pages 1793 and 1794, but they got lost in the outage.

:sad2:
Sorry you lost your post! You are doing great, however. Thank you for all your work! It is really fun to see us listed on the BOG List. It adds to the excitement.

I’m trying to rent one for a solo trip and already have one for the GF part of my stay 8-)

Any SAB reports for evening hours? Are there still wait times after 5 or 6 PM?
We have never had to wait to get into SAB. The most crowded time is usually in the afternoon with people clearing out well before dinner time. I don't think you will have any problems getting into SAB after 5 or 6pm.

I don't think a cabana is necessary to have a nice relaxing pool day. The cabanas are located back in a corner, past the sandy shallow kids pool. We like to be more centrally located and closer to the areas we like to swim in. :)

Thanks for the input! DH likes to spend most of his time in the pool, but when he does come out he likes to be in the shade, are there good places for sun cover?
