If we have a 7:45pm or 8:05pm Saviis reservation and the park closes at 8 how fast will they rush us out of Galaxys Edge or HS for that matter?? Will we be able to grab photos and such or will we be hurriedly along and out of the park? Are the Disney photographers for memory maker still out after park closes. Any help and input would be appreciated on the matter.

People have reported not being able to take photos with the Falcon after the park has closed. YMMV.

That’s crazy they rush you out. Do stores close right at park closing or do they stay open 30mins later? Hollywood studios closes at 8 and I have a reservation for 8:05 one day so we’ll be rushed out as soon as we’re done with Savis. That’s horrible service

Why is it crazy? The park is closed. They’ll basically let you finish whatever activity you started at or around park closing then you’ll be guided towards the exit.

I'm confused how it is horrible service if they rush you out of a closed park when you are done with a reservation that begins at park closing?

Stores typically stay open a little after park closing, but if your reservation begins at park close, then expect to be quickly escorted out when you are done.

Just trying to get a few picks with light sabers and falcon at night. Only reservations I could get are 745 and 8. Just would like to snap a fe photos. Plus that were the only options I could get when my 60 day window started for our Hollywood studio days.

We have never been rushed out of a park at closing, but they do direct everyone towards the exit once you complete your meal or experience.

The stores along the exit at DHS stay open for at least 30 minutes after closing.

We have never tried to hang in Galaxy’s Edge after closing, so cannot help you there.

I’m sure they’ll let you snap a few pics but i wouldn’t expect photo pass photographers to still be out. And they may not let you back to the Falcon. Generally once a park is closed they will filter guests towards the exit and not let people back further into the park.

In most lines of employment folks working wish to leave at closing time. I bet WDW employees are the same. They have lives, plans, and families too. I am sure the WDW organization provides plenty of time for all to eat their meal and exit if they have a late reservation but to ask them to extend the work day, hmmmmmm???

We had an 8:25 Savi's appointment last week when the park closed at 8. We snapped a few pictures at MF without an issue, all the stores were closed but the restrooms at the front of the park were open. There are some vending machines near the skyliner, I wish I had purchased some water before the park closed.

Shipping the lightsaber home was not an option because the park was closed, however.

We hung out in Galaxy's Edge after closing for 20 minutes or so last week, just sitting down, enjoying the atmosphere, and watching people take photos with their light sabers in front of the Falcon.

I don't think you'll have any trouble taking your photos, but I don't think photopass photographers will be available.

Probably not all, but most employees at the parks are scheduled to work at least an hour after park closing, some roles even longer. So they expect to be there, its typically not extending their day.

When you are finished with your reservation, you will be directed to the park entrance. You will not be able to go through a closed area. When the park officially closes, cast members and security "sweep" the parks. They begin at the back and escort guests towards the front. Once an area is Started to being "swept" no one new can enter. After it is swept, it is blocked by cast members. You will be able to take a few pictures, but as you are headed toward the entrance. (Its not being rushed. Disney has already allowed you in the parks after close for a reservation).

I saw photo pass photographers leave right at 8.

we’ve been in galaxy’s edge for 20-40 minutes after closing and it’s not been an issue (we had Oga’s reservations at 8:00 and to be honest, that did feel rushed but it was okay)

the attached picture was taken at 8:01

We had an 8:45 Oga’s reservation on Saturday. Upon finishing at 9:30 we were escorted to the edge of GE. We were one of the few people left I the park. We were allowed to use the restrooms in GE on our way out. There were no photo pass people out after closing.
