Just got back from a 2-day 1-park-per-day visit. Thanks to all the tips here and a few practice sessions at home, I was able to get BG 16 for ROTR and BG 14 for WS using the refresh method. What surprised me was how quickly they called my BG even though the initial estimate said something like 160 minutes. I received notification at 8:52 am that my BG has been called for ROTR and at 8:38 a.m. that my BG has been called for WS. This is good news for people who have park hoppers as they can hustle as soon as their BG is called, ride it and try the other virtual queue at noon, although there is a chance that the ride may break down and they may have to make the decision whether to cancel it in order to try at noon or keep it and hope they have the ride fixed by end of day. Also as other people have reported, waiting for WS even with virtual queue BG took forever. I entered the queue at 9:20 a.m. and didn't get out until 10:30 a.m. so be mentally prepared for a long wait. Also, park wifi never worked for me on both days and cell signal for my carrier only worked intermittently, so I don't think I would have been successful trying at noon for the virtual queues at the parks, so I'm happy it worked out with the 7 a.m. attempts at the hotel.
