Any Bojangles’ Near You?

A recent article stated Bojangles’ was going to expand into my state. Have you ever been to one? If so, how was your experience and what is your opinion of the food there?

I have been to one when we were on vacation in SC I think it was. I thought it was pretty good stuff.

I have never seen a Bojangles close to home.

We had Bojangles years ago, but they're all gone from southern/central florida for the past decade. My favorite thing was their seasoned fries....addicted to those things. Not sure if they still have them on the menu.

Bojangles is a five minute drive from my house
They are very popular in Georgia… always a crowd at them but worth the wait.

Had Bojangles for the first time this past summer while down south. I really wish they had them here, best chicken sandwich and fries IMO.

There's one about 5 minutes from my house. I literally can't eat their food, it's so salty. They use the word "Seasoned", but really what they mean is there's a ton of salt in it.

I don't have the same problem at Chick-Fil-A, KFC, or any other fast food chain (although I rarely eat at any of them). Bojangles, if I put it in my mouth, I have to spit it out.

They are supposed to be coming to our area soon too (Ohio). My husband is very excited. There is one near a place we often vacation and it's a "must have" for him whenever we go. I am not a fan. I like salty food, but I agree with QueenIsabella that everything is REALLY salty. Fried chicken (with bones) is not really "my thing" anyway and I don't like the fries or any of the other sides. I really only like the biscuits.

Their fries are literally the worst fries in all of fast-foodom. The "seasoning" is basically paprika, salt and cigarette ash. Every single one I've visited feels like they just tried unsuccessfully to clean up after a fryer oil explosion and the restaurant only outlawed smoking indoors yesterday.

Plus, they serve Pepsi. They might as well just spit in my drink.

They are coming to my area as well, but we are already inundated with chicken restaurants. We don’t need anymore.

There is one near where I live but the food is bland and tasteless. Perhaps this is another franchise where food quality varies from one site to the next. Someone else mentioned food that was too salty, but that wasn't a problem where I ate. The food was just bland and had no seasoning at all. Reminds somewhat of the problems KFC has had for several years after being taken over by some other company. Food is too greasy at one location, over cooked at another and under cooked elsewhere. I think they have totally lost control of their food quality/consistency and I no longer eat there.

I live in SC. I think 4 within 5 minutes .

VERY popular. Their seasoned fries and chicken tenders have a kick. As in have a drink handy.

You seem to either love it or meh about it. Prices still reasonable. I prefer other places.

I have one about 15 minutes away. Love their biscuits! I wish I could make them like that at home.

If you want to talk salty, Zaxby’s gets my vote for saltiest chicken. I can no longer eat there.
