The bus transportation at the YC, BC and BW has been cut down to twice an hour and they seem more scheduled. The busses are waiting at the bus stops before moving on instead of a just looping.

The busses are packed all day. It takes forever to get around and if you are the 3rd scooter you are going to have to wait.

One woman was in complete disbelief. She just missed the DS bus and kept saying “That can’t be right”. Over and over looking at the time. They ended up taking an Uber to get to their lunch reservations.

Park time is expensive. Wasting it at a bus stop or on a bus so Disney can cut its costs is just more bad PR.

They also have another agenda… Perhaps…
Downsize the castmembers that are Unionized.
Notice how they seem to have a problem with staffing for housekeeping and transport departments.?

And next think about the recently expanded College Intern and International Programs with cheap labor that is government subsidized . If you saw how huge that Flamingo Village built for their housing , you would think twice about the program and what it represents.
I really hate myself for thinking this way about Disney.
The same reason they cut the Entertainment in the parks. Didn’t want to pay the Actors Equity Association. Chop, Chop, Chop.

Well that’s disappointing to hear. We changed from CBR to BW because of the number of bus stops at CBR. The whole point in paying more money was to try to make transportation easier. I guess I’ll find out in a week if we made a big mistake!

How did you find out that was policy at all 3 of those resorts for all parks at all times of day?

Also, 3rd scooter has almost always sucked for us. I’ve definitely stood around for 45 mins when I’m with my ECV user and we arrived as 3rd scooter. It is what it is.

We've also just booked our first WDW trip at BWV. Feeling nervous now, especially for the end of the night. To that end, is it possible to get third party transportation from MK when the park is closed which is closer than TTC? Or will we still need to negotiate the monorail lines to meet a ride share? Does a dedicated car service get any preferential treatment?

Looks like AK is good with ride shares parking near the entrance anytime of day as they have a designated spot on the map for that service, correct?

Thank goodness we can walk to EPCOT and HS...at least that's a win!

For the uninitiated, could you give a quick description of this service? Is it an extra charge thing? thanks!
This question was about Minnie Vans. It was a Disney car service. Drivers were cast members. You booked it through the Lyft app. The big advantages were (a) It would pick up and drop off directly at Magic Kingdom where it had a slot with the Disney buses (as opposed to Uber, Lyft and cabs, which pick up and drop off at the Transportation & Ticket Center, and (b) It had 2 car seats, for those families which needed that.

Some people walk from MK to Contemporary and request an Uber/Lyft from there. However, if you try that at park closing, there may be a lot of other people doing the same thing. There's a walking path now from MK to Grand Floridian, so you could try the same thing but I think it's a longer walk.

Yes, and the Minnie Vans have been confirmed to return this summer.

I'm curious too. Doubtful also. It doesn't even make sense as sharing is rare now, outside of DS
