do the previews ever sell out I remember for galaxy edge it not being a problem getting a time slot. obviously it wont last availability wise for days but how long did you have to sign up for the reMY previews I did not sign up because we were not able to be in florida

I'd have to look back to Remy or Rise but for some reason I'm thinking we got the same "you will be invited" notice then too.
Anyone else recall?

I think the notices for those previews said something like "in the coming days" not "soon". I could be wrong though.

Also one more question were you able to sign up for these using your browser on your cell phone? Just want to be prepare if I happen to be out when this thing drops

I have the email and it says "AP or eligible DVC member" although I'm both and don't know which triggered it

My partner got an email but I didn't. He's the actual DVC member and I'm just an associate member and not eligible for benefits. We are both local AP holders. We never received an email for the Remy previews, but were able to register thanks to the link posted here on the DISboards.

I'm AP and DVC (Blue card), staying in a DVC room in early May (I checkout May 8th) - but didn't get an email. I didn't get an email for the previews of Remy's either and never got the AP Magnets in the mail.

Will have to hope that someone shares the link so I can register when it happens!

That’s not what I meant. I meant if it’ll only be for certain APs (like top tiers) or all are included. It makes me think it’ll be for all since they didn’t specify

We’re thinking/hoping that since there are fewer AP holders now than when GE opened (due to the pause in AP sales), the AP previews will be open to all levels of APs.

I have never received an email for either AP or DVC previews and this one is proving to be no different. I have a stay both May 14 and May 21 weekends. Lol. Will keep checking in disboards… much more reliable than Disney IT!

Didn't they make some change where only those who purchase direct from Disney get the extras? I'm not DVC but seems as though I've read about their taking away stuff from resell buyers

Yes, years ago. You now have to buy DVC direct from Disney to be eligible for many of the perks and you are issued a blue membership card. They grandfathered existing members who bought through resale prior to the change and they also have blue membership cards. Everyone else who only owns through resale now has white membership cards and they are not eligible for those perks.

Luckily, I am a triple threat: A blue card DVCer with an AP staying on a DVC reservation.

Yes, they fill up. There are limited spots
They rarely last a day, if ever even lasted a day

I've signed up both ways in all the years they've done these.
The biggest thing is you need to quickly know your log in, whichever method you are doing it. Don't waste time going to look up what it is

WDW loves Tuesday releases…

Remy was released on a Friday (9am ET).
Galaxy's Edge was released on a Thursday (11am ET).
Pandora/Avatar was released on a Friday (10am ET).

I doubt there's any real rhyme or reason to it.

For the Remy preview, didn't you have to already have a stay booked in order to be "eligible" for the preview? It seems like for that one you got advanced notice of the dates and eligibility critieria before the link went live to sign up. Am I remembering that correctly?

For the DVC Preview, yes. We are local AP holders and registered for the AP Preview without an existing room reservation.
