Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

The site says "access" so currently it is. My dd booked one for next year for cl access :)

Do all the standard view CL rooms at BWI have balconies, ones with chairs. Not standing only. Trying to decide if I need to put a room request in. Thanks.

@jods
See the different styles? Some are open , some are more enclosed at the base but they all have 2 chairs. Its not like BC, you get a balcony with cl.

I know PP asked about standard CL rooms but this pic shows all BW views. Are there some standard CL that have BW views? Do the standard CL rooms tgat maybe face a different direction have full balconies? Gosh I guess I just need a room map!!!

Yes. There are standard CL rooms with BW views
All BW rooms have full balconies
None have Juliet balconies
Some have oversized balconies
Is that the ones you are asking about?

Yes!!! Thank you! I’d love a BW view for even just one of our two rooms but it’ll be great to have a balcony for each either way!!!

does anyone know about standard CL connecting rooms? Is there something I should request? Ultimately we’d like to be close to the lounge (don’t mind extra noise) and close to the elevator (in that order if they can only honor one).
You can either be "closer" to the elevator or close to the lounge. Not both. There are some club rooms outside the secured area that will be closer to the elevator.

They eliminated the BWI CL rooms that are outside the doors after COVID. Now the only CL rooms not behind the Innkepper doors are the deluxe rooms on the third floor (and possibly some suites I’m not familiar with). So the closest cL rooms to the elevators would be the ones immediately inside the Innkeepers Club doors. Then it’s still a little walk to the lounge. There are rooms quite far (IMO) past the lounge as well, those are a real hoof from the elevators and also decently far from the lounge.

There are also the Cottages

And I think maybe 1 or 2 there in the corner. Lene was explaining the room numbers to me recently when going over the rooms they dropped. She said it was the majority of the ones outside the doors but not 100%. A very few remain on the 4th floor and I wasn't really clear on the exact rooms they kept but I thought it was those right there in the corner over Flying Fish maybe? Seems like I saw guests leave those rooms and walk to the door during our last visit too.

Does anyone have any room suggestions for AKL CL? I'm not sure if one trail is better than the other. This is for a 2 queen bed room.

I like the trail to the left of the lobby, as you look out to the savannah, personally, sorry, I forget which animal that is. I find the rock blocks less from that side than it does the other, if you are lucky enough for a room closer to the lobby. If your room is further out than it won't matter much. But, the side to the right is slightly closer to the elevators so it may be a better option for others. With both sides having to go up to the lounge really, it makes little difference in the end.

@Mrs.AMC Thank you! I appreciate your input - I am thinking more about the animal viewing than the elevators or extra walking, I figure it won't bother us too much since we are only at AKL for 2 nights.

This isn't completely correct. There are BWI rooms with Juliet balconies. We had one last summer. And we were surprised by it because no one ever talks about them. It was an unusual shaped room, larger than a standard room because it had a foyer area. I don't know how to post pictures or I would. But be advised there are small balcony rooms at BWI.

Hit the attach files on bottom left.

I do believe that her post is correct for Cl rooms.

I would like to see that room balcony if you can figure it out. Our last stay the people next to us had a huge one! Missed it by one room, non cl room fyi.

I'd love to see it too. I feel like I've been in every CL room there is by now and I've not see it yet

I think they said non cl room.

I think I have seen just a tiny few rooms but it’s such a small proportion . I’d just ask to be moved.

It is kinda fun to see what kind of balcony you’ll get. I have had so many different styles! Lol I enjoy the small things :)

I must not have enough posts to be able to include pictures. I tried to post a link to the touring plans room finder, but it won't let me do that either. If you look at the room finder for standard room at the BWI, there's a bank of elevators in the middle. Our room was just south of the elevator bank. It was room 3290. Not a club level room. The balcony was only a standing balcony, and like I said, we were totally surprised by it because we didn't even know BWI had those.

We almost asked for a room change, but the room itself was awesome. You can kind of see from the room map that it's bigger than other standard rooms. It had a long entry way, walk in closet and the bathroom set up was different.

Yes room 3290 is elongated and has the short balcony due to the roof line of the building making the inside corner for the Courtyard stairs.

Also about 6 of the Outer Building Garden Cottages don't have a balcony off the upstairs bedroom.
