People still finding decent fireworks spots in the hub at 10:10

This gives me hope we can enjoy other things until 10 p.m. before the fireworks...not planning on staking out a spot an hour in advance, but still going to catch the fireworks show.

Trying to plan out Halloween party activities. What time do the ride overlays start? Don’t want to waste party time if we can enjoy pirates prior to the 7pm time.

7pm is when everything MNSSHP related starts. They won't even let them take Halloween magic shot photos before then.

I have some maybe silly questions- do they serve regular food along with the special treats? I want to get the shake at sleepy hollow but could also use some protein and don’t want to stand in two different lines… could I still get the chicken waffle at the same time?

Do the characters and overlays go all the way to midnight? If we leave HM to last at say, 11:45 will the ghosts still be outside (and/or in the queue?)

At other theme parks and sporting events I’m the worst at saying “we do that a little later” and then having all the popcorn carts and drinks etc be closed before parks close and my kids haaaaaate that. Ask my youngest about the no-icee minor league baseball game of 2019 because she’s never going to forget… or let me forget!

We got a half way decent spot at about 10:14 lol. Literally walled up as it was about to start. We were off to the side so limited view but good enough. We also walked off haunted mansion at 9:10 and got a half way decent spot of the first parade.

Wow! Yeah. Lots of Snickers. But I love .Snickers! I see Snickers Almond. I don’t recall seeing that before.

When we went to MNSSHP in 2018, they had applesauce pouches as an option in the allergy friendly bags and it was wonderful for my toddler. We are going again this year with our youngest and would love to know if they are again giving out applesauce as an allergy friendly option!!

The free tickets don't limit you to a specific party, or at least they didn't in the past. I don't think the party being sold out would prevent free tickets from getting in. Remember back when they had the tickets that allowed you to attend every party. Those people could attend sold out parties as well. Sold out doesn't mean the park is at capacity and honestly, Disney has given little thought to how crowded the parties were.

The difference is they knew how many of the party passes they had available and could build that number in to their capacity for the evening. So a party could have been sold out of tickets, but their numbers allowed for potentially everyone with a party pass to enter.

Overlays go all the way to midnight, but be careful about characters and magic shots. They cut those lines when it looks like they're long enough to go to midnight (or perhaps slightly after). In 2019, 11:37pm, we popped into Adventureland to see if we could catch one more character after the 2nd parade, but Genie/Jasmine's line was closed. A very kind guest with a very asleep kid in a stroller gave us her spot in line when she saw us get turned away, we were so grateful!!

For the HM ghosts, the biggest problem you'll have is when they're on break or switching out. I don't know how long they would let you wait in that merge point in the line if your goal was really to see them. I guess you could just tell people to go around you and you could hang out if they weren't there when you showed up.

Thank you for sharing, this is wonderful news!! When we went in 2019, we had strollers so I could easily hold one spot for the five of us while Hubby and the kids had a little more fun. Even as people eeked up near the strollers, that's still 3 seats for the kids. This year, stroller free, I can't very well make myself big enough to hold a spot for five people.
