Boulder Ridge Referb

I was there a few days ago and went to take a look. I noticed that there were only a few rooms being renovated on floors 4 and 5. Probably no more than 10 rooms total. Guests were staying in the rooms down the hallway. I saw inside one room that was on the 5th floor (5544) and it was completely gutted. I also saw workers bringing in sheets of drywall.

I’m staying at CCV so thought I would walk by to see if I could see anything. Plastic on carpets outside or rooms 4535 and 4533. Signage still out saying no photos. When we walked by a construction worker walking between rooms so got a small glimpse in. Room looked pretty gutted and was staged with some things (looked like some type of panel - like the panels that might be on the Murphy beds at SSR). They were actively working in both rooms so maybe some sort of news coming soon.
Thank you for going to BRV and checking for all of us!

Thanks for update!…I’m glad they are replacing dry wall and everything!..it was sooo needed!!

When we were leaving this morning, there was a group of non-costumed CM’s walking all of the hallways with notebooks and clipboards. From the discussion, it sounded like people from the various departments (housekeeping, front desk, maintenance, etc.) and the construction coordinators, all discussing scheduling and logistics as the project moves forward.

I casually asked as we got on the elevator on the second floor (where they were currently touring) if it will all be fresh and new when we get back in March, and the response was “You bet!”

Thanks for the investigation!! Appreciate.

The new rooms will be announced during the D23 expo. Paul just posted a pic of the new rooms and when I went back on facebook to find the pic to post and now I cant find it! Anyone catch that?

I do not like the headboard. What is with mixing earth tones with a star spangled headboard. Was someone color blind? Horrible. You've got bright with earthy tones. Why does it seem like Disney keeps shooting itself in the foot?
That headboard seems odd to me.
Uh, I’m about 99.9% sure that headboard is a Pendleton blanket pattern, which is about as Pacific North West as you can get.

There is nothing native or northwest about that headboard. I am from the northwest and that headboard shares nothing in common with the northwest. The color is obnoxious and blue is not a common color used. I live near many reservations.

Actually, while black and red were the most common colors used in the Northwest, blue was definitely a color favored by the tribes because it symbolized peace or heaven.
I am not saying they used this exact blue, just that blue was most certainly a color used by the tribes.
