SAFD: Another vote for Yzma here! How can you not when she is scary beyond all reason?

SAFD: my favorite Disney villain is definitely Ursula. But the best one is Maleficent. She is truly the mistress of all evil!

SAFD: while I loved Captain Hook as a kid, I’ll go with Hades with his one-liners. I love Yzma and Kronk too. Villains make the story since it would be boring without them.

SAFD: So many great choices to go around with the villains. Some of my favorites in different categories are:

Most Underrated: Yzma. One of my favorite all-around villains.
Most Evil: Frollo. Zealotry incarnate and disturbing on many levels.
Most Misunderstood: Hades. Given a job to do and gets no respect from those pretty folk on Olympus for doing it, how do you expect him to turn out?

To be fair, Disney did Hades dirty; he was definitely the least depraved of his brothers in mythology

SAFD:

No one's slick as Gaston
No one's quick as Gaston
No one's neck's as incredibly thick as Gaston

Both because he has the best song and because his face characters in the parks are often a ton of fun (assuming a good actor).



This was a few years ago but he had the entire line cracking up with every new group of guests who moved up. Very quick on his feet with his banter.

ETA: I don’t think Gaston is back full-time in the parks yet, if he’s been back at all. Maybe now that they’re busy touting how much money they’re raking in from parks to their shareholders they can finish bringing back all the entertainers they were so happy to jettison while claiming poverty.

SAFD: I'll have to skip this week's question since I've never been a big villains person. But I'm enjoying reading everyone's answers!

SAFD: I’ve never been a fan of the villains. Although I really enjoyed MNSSHP in the past, the appeal of villains themed events outside of that is lost on me. However, if I was going to name who I thought was the “best” Disney villain, I’d have to pick Scar. He essentially killed his own brother, and almost killed his nephew, to gain power and control. I can’t watch that scene without tearing up.

My boys watched that movie last weekend, and even though I wasn't actually watching (was sewing in the same room), I started tearing up a few times.

SAFD: Probably Maleficent - especially after seeing the live action with Angelina Jolie, which gave some backstory to her character. And she can turn into a dragon!

SAFD: Don't know about best but Medusa and McLeach from the Rescuers and Rescuers Down Under were pretty scary growing up, maybe because they were kidnapping kids? Although thinking some more, that seems to be what most of the villains were doing anyways.

SAFD: Not a fan of traditional villains - I need mine to have a great sense of humor, or be ironically amusing… so it’s an Yzma-Hades one-two for me!

But I don’t think we can talk Disney villains without mentioning that in Bambi, of course, the villain is… Man.

This past weekend I changed the interval for run/walk to a 10/1 from my 10/2. it went ok. Good enough that i am going to do it again next week. I had some issues with pacing but i think i preferred the one minute walk. Maybe i will get to 30 seconds but i felt that was just too big a change to start with.

Looving all of these villains. I have a hard time choosing so I am going to throw out one that no one has said yet but that I really love too but they may not be my fav but deserve some recognition Ernesto de la Cruz from Coco!! He has it all... voice and style and willing to kill for his fame even in the afterlife!
