AP Discount Watch and FAQ 2023. 10% - 40% off select nights July 11 - Sept 28; Oct 2 - Dec 25

Why did Disney decide to release more AP discounts before they fixed the problem of their stupid website not showing everyone the AP discounts?!?

Where are details on this deal!? Doesn’t show for my January or my Feb/March trip….not sure if it’s bc my dates aren’t eligible or bc the website is being a pain!

Just called...AP discount wasn't avail for Jan 2-7th at POR.
We actually arrive on 1/1 and could try for the discount by splitting our ressie, but even with that, it still wouldn't work. It would have been 20% at POR for other dates.
I am guess it is not avail because of the marathon.

For everyone having issues getting the discounts to show up: sign out, then go to the offers page and click the offer and sign in there. I was able to upgrade from Pop to CSR for my April trip and still save $32

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the discounts in the spring. BC is 25% off. I haven't seen it discounted that much in years. Lots of CL availability as well.

I have 2 annual pass exchange vouchers linked to my account but I can't see the pass holder rates. Anyone else having issues? I have always been able to see the rates even when my pass isn't activated.

I was unable too see AP discounts with a voucher, never was able to. I activated it in July and now I can view them, although I did have to do the work around of clicking on the AP offer before logging in.

Actually, pre-covid AP rates were often 40% or more. I don't recall a time they were lower than 30-35% off. 25% off is really not good and especially this one with the weekends being excluded.

Maybe they’re gearing up for a Disney+ offer that includes Jan/Feb weekends? Otherwise I don’t get it…

January and February used to be the slowest time at Disney, but this tells me that they have a lot of bookings. I’m surprised because it’s usually the South American groups that fill up resorts in Jan and Feb and they don’t stay in the deluxe hotels, so why not discount the deluxe resorts?

The truth is, there aren't a lot of out state Passholders left and not a lot of in state passholders stay at the resorts- I know, I know- some of you guys do, but the majority don't. It use to be an AP discount would get released and this board would light up. So maybe they don't feel like they need to do much in the way of Passholders anymore. I'm beginning to feel like the last dinosaur. :scared:

Beach Club specifically 40% off? I don't recall seeing that for years even pre-COVID. BC was usually relegated to the 10% or 15% tier with WL and Poly after the DVC conversions. Yacht Club was always discounted a lot up to 40% and I would actually prefer it when that room refurb happened.

I don’t normally stay at the BC so can’t speak specifically to it, but most all deluxe resorts were at the same discounted rate with Wilderness Lodge sometimes not included. It varied from offer to offer and It wasn’t always 40%, but 35% was pretty standard. Our last stay that got cancelled was at the Riviera was 45% offf a 1 Br villa. It was the biggest discount we ever got and I remember it because it hurt so badly to lose it. I hadn’t stayed at a deluxe resort with less than a 35% discount in years before covid. AP was always 5-15% better than any other discounts.

Ahhh, that's the miscommunication. I guess BC stuck out to me as a "good value" because I usually booked it 3x a year and would always be sad it was in the lowest deluxe tier each time :rotfl: I would actually reach out to TAs looking for exclusive rates at BC.

BC is much lower in the Dec promo which also excludes Fri & Sat. Seems to be in the 15% group with WL and Poly is completely omitted.

This worked! Thank you. I spent your $32 to upgrade from Pop to POFQ.

If WDW can sell out animal kingdom lodge at rack rate in January, god bless them…
LOL, like we say in the south " bless their hearts."

But seriously, I always thought that values and mods would have the South American groups in Jan/Feb, but the deluxes would have trouble filling that time frame. I mean, pools are a big draw to the deluxes and Jan/Feb is NOT pool weather. I guess we'll see how busy it is this year.
