November to Remember: W.I.S.H November 2022

Well…as luck would have it…DD woke up with a migraine 😩 she took Advil before work and 2 doses of migraine meds after work and she’s been sleeping for 3 hours.

I would appreciate positive thoughts/prayers/lighting of a pumpkin spice candle-whatever you believe in I could use it!!

She needs to be up and ready to leave at 7am!

Whooohooo I am packed, have everything else ready, finished up work and DD finished up school! So that’s something to celebrate!

Hopefully with some rest and dark she will be good! Enjoy your trip...I'm sure wdw has some magic migraine relieving pixie dust somewhere.
Won't help at the moment I know but does she have a migraine stick? If not get one from Amazon when you get home...it is wonderful for taking the edge off when otc meds aren't quite enough. Combine that with a cbd gummie and a little caffeine and you are good to go my friend.

Oh No! I hope she is feeling better this morning. DH, DD and myself have been battling headaches all week. DD and I both get migraines. I very close to taking my prescription meds last night but didn't because I had to drive into the office today and couldn't take it early enough where I felt comfortable drive to far. Thankfully it went away. The neurologist told DD to drink 4 oz of something with caffeine (for a kid that does not drink pop or coffee this is not easy) and ibuprofen at the start of feeling one come on. That seems to be helping. She does get a warning that one is coming though. Her ears ring pretty bad and then she gets the migraine.
 
I am thankful it is Thursday and, as thankful as I was to have had last weekend at the beach I am now thankful to have this weekend at home.

I am thankful that I seem to have unraveled most of the nagging health things that were plaguing me. I have the wet cough maybe once a week but can get thru it without Benadryl, my ankles are no longer puffy and my tummy aches have subsided. And I'm thankful for the 10 pounds I lost so far, because even with that little bit I am feeling so much better. I'm also thankful that I was able to get in for a Rolfing appointment tomorrow, as she is usually well booked out. The Rolfing is helping so much with my general well being.

I am thankful that I finally found a pair of jeggings that not only fit, they fit well. I have another pair of jeggings and a pair of navy blue leggings coming that I'm pretty confident will also fit, so that gives me three of the four bottoms I want to take to WDW... which is now just 29 days away! I am so thankful to be able to take this do-over trip, and that it falls in the Holiday season and that I'll be meeting up with friends while I'm there.

On a slightly different note, I have to say I don't love the treadmill. It is awkward to walk on, I think because it is so small. I'm going to keep trying to see if I can get used to it, but yesterday I used my under-desk cycle to get to 10,000 steps. The good part about this is that I'm getting zone minutes from it and I can do it while watching TV. But it isn't giving my legs/feet the right workout to get ready for all the walking. So the weekend is going to have to involve some pretty long walks.
 
Thankful Thursday-Hooray!

So thankful today that DD is doing so much better!

Our flight was uneventful and perfect!

Our transportation to our hotel from Sanford airport was so great-highly recommended Sunny Luxury Transportation!

Our time at all star music is great so far!

We are headed out soon to the buses to go to the running expo then to Disney springs for the evening!!

5K and magic kingdom tomorrow!

Thankful for this time with DD. Her time in highschool will go so quickly and I want to create as many special memories as possible!
 
Another solid week health wise with good food choices and more exercise. I've dropped another -2 pounds, so that is half of my (real) pre-vacation goal and keeps my stretch goal within reach. I've got a long way to go but I'm happy with my progress so far.

I need to make some adjustments next week, like getting more ruffage/fiber in my diet, so I'm going to look for some veggie recipes, as salads just don't sound appealing in these cold blustery days. I also need to get some exercising in before I sit down for work: I'm going to add step-aerobics into my routine, so maybe I can do that in the morning.

Plans for the weekend - I need to go down to the mall to return several things and while I'm there I'm going to swing by The Container Store and look at packing cubes, then I'm going to do a test pack to see what will fit. Saturday is supposed to be dry so I'll go to the park for my walk. Sunday it is the football game and they are playing really well, so can't miss that.

And... it is now just 28 days until vacation!
 
I did ok this week. I have been walking on lunch but I need to do more. I have also been eating a ton this week. Like constantly hungry. Not sure why. I am think PMS though.

Tonight I am goin out with friends. I can't wait. We haven't gone out in a long time. Tomorrow we are hanging out with out family friends and their twins. We haven't seen them in awhile and the twins have gotten so big and are mobile now. Sunday will be a relaxing day of watching football. Though DD's BF is coming over. This is good because it keeps her busy while we watch football. She hates football. They play a ton of board nd card games all day.
 
Went for a couple lunch break walks this week and trying to get back into the swing of virtual PT. Didn't dive into the Halloween candy until yesterday.
Currently standing in line in the basement of city hall for early voting. The smell is...unique.
 
Hi All! I haven't disappeared, just a busy week. I was catching up posting my (meager) exercise minutes and realized "Hey, where's the other WISH thread?" - Apparently, I forgot to click <watch> on the new month. :magnify:

@Oneanne, congrats on the pounds lost!

@PAsFab5, hope you're having an amazing trip!

Goals this month are to up my exercise minutes (which have fallen a little), get recent snacking under control, and try not to let the time change throw me completely off.

WooHoo that my DS is home for the weekend! :tigger: Also thankful for nice weather (except for the pea soup fog this morning - that was crazy!)
 
I have not been good to myself this week. One day I didn't feel well and ate too much junk. The next day I didn't sleep well so was tired and ate too much junk. Today was better but I'm still eating too much junk!

Part of it is I haven't meal planned or gone shopping so that is this weekend's goal.

We're having a very windy, stormy day so just walked to work and had DH chauffeur me for lunch and after work. Super low steps today!! I'll be working on that this weekend, too!
