Christmas Ideas 2022

I ordered some furniture from Target that is on their one day sale feature. I looked about an hour later and the price had gone down $16. I got a price adjustment, and now the price has gone back up. It seems that they have dynamic pricing for some items so I would check back a few times.

i just looked at my already accumulated pile of books and blurays to wrap-makes my shoulder just ache thinking about it. i don't mind the bigger stuff that goes in boxes but the smaller ones :crazy2: sooooooo i checked out a hunch on amazon-YES!!!!! they sell holiday mailing envelopes that look like christmas wrapping. i can slip an item in, it self seals and i'm just left to put a label and bow on. this will save so much time and shoulder wear.

I needed a couple things from Clinique, so I order those and received one of the free beauty kits as well as 3 sample products. I'll use the kid and sample products as stocking stuffers.

Kohl's Pre Black Friday sale this weekend. If I remember right, this ended up being some of the best deals last year - even better than Veteran's Day, when I usually would make out like a bandit, and actual Black Friday for some reason.

Not much I need, but thought I'd spread the word.

I haven't started much. I am determined this year to do more experiences for the kids rather than stuff. I'm frustrated that I know a lot of the places will have black Friday deals but don't know prices yet so that is sort of messing up my budget. I am picking up a few things for youngest DD just because she will still play with 'stuff'. Pretty stuck on older 2 girls. My biggest unknown this year is my side of the family has decided to do a white elephant type thing with a $50 limit. I have absolutely no idea where to go with that. They run the gamut of couples with good jobs and no kids to crafters to struggling couple with 3 kids. Any suggestions?
In our family, the $20 white elephant has a lot of snack options. Couple bottles of salsas (mango or other unique flavors) and a couple bags of chips. The teen boys love those. GCs to fast food - chipotle, starbucks, etc. Lotto tickets. Hickory Farms gift box. Bottles of wine/liquor. Craft sets or boxes from Michaels or Half Priced Books. HPB gift card. GC for family day at the zoo/aquarium/waterpark.

best buy has some great 'black friday' deals right now-and their holiday return policy is in effect.

The big thing I'm looking for is an iPad. My mom is going to gift that to my dad. So I'm helping her find a deal. Unfortunately my dad is very into electronic stuff (which baffles me he doesn't have an iPad yet) so the base iPad he would be disappointed getting the older one and he'd want the current generation 10. Sucks as it is over $100 cheaper for the older style. But then that will help me in the gifts to give my dad, get him a case for it and an iTunes gift card to supplement the other gifts I'm giving. I'm hoping around BF there might be some offer with a store gift card with purchase.

Macy‘s has several Clinique deals that pop up when you buy anything.

I have the older model iPad mini and I LOVE it! I even gave DH my Apple laptop since I haven’t used it since he got me the iPad. He got an inscription on it and got some deal with monthly payment when he signed up for the Apple credit card. I got him the Apple Watch and did the same. We ordered online and it came to the house which is even better!

You might want to check HSN/QVC. They frequently have deals that include extras like a case, ear buds, and so forth.

Thanks, @MomToOne , I scored some things for my daughter's Christmas wish list, and some things I have been needing. I might even look again tomorrow. I have hit their Veterans Day sales, several years now, for Christmas things (I skip Black Friday) but I didn't know about this Pre-Black Friday (and Pre Veterans day, too) sale going on this weekend. I appreciate your tip!

target-buy 2 select video game/get 1 free (same with some books and games/puzzles). good selection-but remember STACK your purchases (so if you buy 6 put the 3 most expensive in one order/3 least in the other-that way you maximize the savings).

We always bring a big poinsettia and a bottle of good booze:-)

For several years now we've "adopted" the 3rd grade classroom my friend teaches in a high poverty area. Most years she requests 25 pairs of waterproof gloves/mittens. :-( . None of the kids ever have anything but those cheap dollar gloves to play in the snow. We live in Michigan.

Here are some things I’m looking for, if you know of any good deals or recommendations 😊

looking for good deals on
Update 11-7-22*😁purchased😁 -mini cricut easy heat press for dd to use in her class to personalize items or do those infuse bead crafts. Students WON’T be using it.

-laminator that does sizes bigger than regular paper maybe 12’ ,16’ or 18’🤷🏽‍♀️ For DD’s classroom. I have a regular size one she uses but I thought one that does bigger sizes would be great🤷🏽‍♀️ And budget😊

— Bluetooth shower speaker

- 36’ blackstone gridle grill for hubby

recommendations on
a good set of hand warmers for hubby. Something that works great and usb charge

on the hunt for
deals on fast food gift cards. We usually do the $100 Del taco and get 8 free combos meals.

hoping to get a couple of $10 gift cards. I think the deal taco the $100 can only be broken into 4- $25 or 5-$20
Update 11-7-22*😁purchased😁 -mini cricut easy heat press for dd
$29.99 plus tax @ HSN and free shipping

one gift down and several more to go lol!

been wanting to do a christmas display in my front side window for several years-finally found the final piece to complete it!!!!!

one of those walmart big furry whole head grinch masks, perched on a tall tripod
covering tripod is a red outfit,
atop the grinch head a scruffy santa hat................................................

.......................and the final missing piece-i found a 20" plush max with his single antler :thumbsup2

if you wander out on the dark, cold, snowy rural woods don't be surprised to see a single lighted window with a sneering 6 foot grinch and his slap happy puppy max peering out at you:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

I bought perfume yesterday with a Sephora code. Dd16 didn't ask for it, but hopefully it's a hit! Still looking for small ideas for her to add to her big gift. She's tough to shop for because she's no fuss like me.

Kohl's Veteran's Day Sale Friday and Saturday.

TAKE10 for $10 off $25.

HOME for $10 off $50 home purchase.

Check your account for any additional % off coupon. I got 30% this year, but not sure I need much of anything. Although I always say that, and then end up placing multiple orders.

I always enjoy seeing the deals everyone is finding. I want to do something different for our Christmas tree this year. I am hoping to have an around the world tree with all our vacation ornaments and then some vacation themed Santas. I found a few cute ones on the JC Penny Black Friday sale.
