SAFD: I injured my left IT band during the full while doing Goofy last month, so I have basically done no running since then. I've been doing some 2 and 3-mile walks and I did a few .25 mile stretches of jogging on my walk on Saturday with no pain, so hopefully I'm on the mend. I am also heading into my competitive softball season with my team here which starts on March 5th, so my focus through at least May will be softball with occasional running to maintain fitness. I may do some shorter local races to keep my running mindset up before starting hardcore training this fall for Dopey (fingers crossed I survive registration), but right now I have just been focused on resting and losing weight. I started a keto diet this week to help kickstart some much needed weight loss, so here's hoping.
