I have these sitting in my SW biz account offers right now. Do I click through one of these? Does pre-approved mean I just need to accept it? Is any one of these better than the others? They really all look the same to me or at least very similar so I don't know what's the best option. Y'all have me FOMO on the 90K offer which I assume is one of these I'm already pre-approved for so I should probably go ahead and do it. 😂

If you have a P2 with an Ink, you should use a support link for 20k more URs. Any Ink can support to any other Ink.

If you'll use the categories then Ink Cash, if not then Ink Unlimited for 1.5% everything.

We’re still looking at Japan next year and trying to figure out if we should get global entry or not. Any thoughts?
I just got Global Entry and have only used it once so far returning from MX but my answer is a resounding YES. It includes TSA Pre for only a little bit more $$$, making both domestic and international travel more convenient.

If you can swing the interview appointment wait times right now, I say it's worth it. I'm even encouraging a friend going to Orlando with me to get it before our trip just for the TSA Pre (because, you know, MCO is so exotic lol).

Thanks! I think we’re probably gonna go ahead and get it. Ds does not have a passport yet so we need to get him one first right?

There are a lot of cards that have the Global Entry credit. If you're not paying OOP then it's an easy decision. If you are paying OOP, you might consider if it's worth paying $100 for your DS since he can go through the TSA line with you (but not the Global Entry line). Might depend on if Japan is your only international trip in the next 5 years.

Here's a list. Link The first part is their favorites, keep scrolling for what is hopefully a comprehensive list.

I have the CSR credit to use and dh is about to apply for a CSR also. So ours would be covered. Then we would pay for ds’s. I would like to think we will travel internationally again in the next 5 years. We’d like to do the UK but depends how ds does with Japan lol

Last night in London -- not sure how the week flew by so quickly. Will post a brief review when I get home (heading out tomorrow morning), but have a quick question.

Yesterday while heading to the Tate Modern I was checking the directions on my phone and thought that I had cleared the stairs that I was going down in the tube station, but hadn’t and my right foot slipped down the last step. No immediate pain (I am fit, so thought my ankle somehow absorbed it!), but discovered while going downstairs later in the day that it was painful and swollen. It is still quite swollen, not terribly painful at least; I think it might be a minor sprain.

Supposed to be leaving for Italy for 12 days on Wednesday and I know that I don’t want to navigate 3 cities with my foot like this. Hotels and flight home (with AP pts) can be easily cancelled; would the CSR cover my non-refundable ticket with AA (paid using cash and a SWU), train tickets and ticket to see the Last Supper? I would, of course, obtain a doctors note on Monday morning. I know that I booked the train tickets with the CSR, not sure what card I used for the AA ticket.

Sorry to hear this! Seems like it would be covered under Accidental Bodily Injury. The plane and train tickets, but not the show.

"Eligible Travel Expenses are Non–Refundable prepaid travel expenses charged by a Travel Supplier (Travel Agency, Tour Operator, Provider of Lodging, rental car agency, Rented Recreational Vehicle Provider, commercial recreational excursion provider, Cruise Line, airline, railroad, and other Common Carriers). Eligible Travel Expenses also means redeposit fees imposed by a Rewards program administrator. Eligible Travel Expenses does not include Event Tickets or prepaid fees to theme parks, museums, golf courses, or other points of interest (unless such expenses are included as part of a travel package)"

Guide to benefits link.

My southwest visa annual fee has posted. I want to cancel it but I want to use up the $75 credit first. Can someone remind me... do I just book a fully refundable fare and cancel it after the credit posts?

100% YES. Totally worth it. We've bypassed lines that snaked around a room - the kind you see when in a long roller coaster line at WDW. DD traveled with friends and had to wait for them to clear customs - it was a 1.5 hr wait because they didn't have GE and she did.

My SW biz card annual fee just posted. I want to cancel this one. I have an upcoming flight in April to WDW. Can I go ahead and purchase the Early Bird to those flights to use the credits and then cancel the card before my fee is due? Or if I use that card for those credits then I need to keep it open and cancel after my April flight then see if they will prorate my annual fee?

Wait until the anniversary points post before you cancel. You can also use the Early Bird credits.

Cancel before the deadline for an AF refund. After the deadline, no prorate since it's a cancellation, not a product change. I just go by 30 days after the AF, but for Chase have also read 30 days after the statement close that the AF falls in.
