‘Gaslighting’ is Merriam-Webster’s word of the year for 2022

They were announcing this on the local news this morning, and after the first anchor mentioned it, the other one said it wasn’t (basically pulling a gaslight on the first anchor). The first anchor bought into it completely, and it took about a minute of panic and checking their notes before they realized what had happened. They were laughing so hard, and I was laughing right along with them.

Julia Robert's new work, Gaslit, was heavily pushed in the Firestick so maybe that had something to do with the uptick in curiosity, interesting story but not as good as Homecoming - love her!

Surprised it took until 2022, but maybe some are slower to catch on then others !!!
