I keep hearing this more and more...Welcome to The most crowd MNSSHP we have ever experienced!!
Oh, no.After this year I will have to change love to loved.
I love it!This is the only peanut she can be close to
she thought this was rather ironic.
I really think the whole interactive characters in POTC sounds like one of the coolest things about this party! I'd love to see that. There was more interactive characters on the ride than last year. There was a lady pirate with red hair yelling at Captain Barbosa and several more throughout the ride. I did enjoy this. We got more candy at the end of the ride.
Finally something not super crowded! After the fun parade, we did BTMRR with no wait yay!
Well, at least Disney keeps the grass short to reduce hiding places for them.We walked home from the Swan, we had to cut through some grassy areas. I was a little nervous of snakes since it was after midnight.
Yes it was a bummer, I thought for sure a Tuesday in August would not draw a huge crowd, I was wrong!!
Disney sure is trying to grab money for everything now! The tickets for the parks are so expensive and all the add ons now a days really can add up!
We are doing 1 more DAH at MK in January and I hope it is not oversold!
Haha too funny! I love Jaws tooAndi was so funny, she was saying don’t look behind you mom, keep going mom, oh my gosh mom the crowds are coming, keep going don’t look back! It reminded me of the scene from Jaws (my all time favorite movie by the way) when Charlie falls in and the guy on the dock keeps saying “swim Charlie swim, don’t look back”
We thought the lunch price was really high too! I don't remember what it was though, because we had free dining and just paid the tip.We finished up and paid for the meal and I had a little sticker shock!
Oh no! We must have gotten lucky at our party, it didn't seem too bad (but we'd never been before)You literally had to fight your way through crowds in most areas all night long.
I have to, really a bummer. The crowded party takes away from the atmosphere so much!I keep hearing this more and more...
This is really cool and they added more to it this year!really think the whole interactive characters in POTC sounds like one of the coolest things about this party! I'd love to see that.
Love BTMR at night and really love it as a walk on!Finally something not super crowded!
Haha! It was a little creepy, there literally was no one around, how often can you say that at Disney!Well, at least Disney keeps the grass short to reduce hiding places for them.
I am hoping it will be. It is the first time in awhile it won’t be our travel day. This is nice we can actually rest up for it!!we did the MK after hours the same week we did MNSSHP in September and it was dead! So you should be good! Hopefully!
My family loves this movie, we all go around quoting from it when we all get together haha!Haha too funny! I love Jaws too
I may have to investigate the DDP again, it is way to much food for us but maybe a way to do more expensive meals less? It has never really been cost effective for us but you never know!We thought the lunch price was really high too! I don't remember what it was though, because we had free dining and just paid the tip.
Lucky for you with low crowds, my experience seems to be more of the norm unfortunately!Oh no! We must have gotten lucky at our party, it didn't seem too bad (but we'd never been before)
Love all the previous MNSSHP pics!
Nice! Good for you!I was checking prices this morning on the Disney website and found The Destino Tower for about $160.00 a night with a water view. I jumped on this for our last 4 nights at WDW.
I totally get that!!Initially we had breakfast plans at BonVoyage and we decided to cancel the day before. The pricey cost of yesterday’s breakfast was something we didn‘t want to repeat.
High praise! This is my top deluxe resort right now!
Holy cow... uh... um...
I'm drooling...The Mac and cheese was so delicious. It was creamy and very tasty.
Pretty.
Did you get it?I love this print!
Believe it or not... I have never been there. It was time for ice cream next. Ghiradelli brownie sundae was our choice.
Well, that's unfortunate.I went to check in upon arrival and our room was ready. It was no where close to what I requested It was in Sago Cay facing the interior of the resort. I had requested Conch Key facing the water
Wow, that is a great price!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see what you think of ithave some exciting news about my January trip. I was checking prices this morning on the Disney website and found The Destino Tower for about $160.00 a night with a water view. I jumped on this for our last 4 nights at WDW.
Yum this looks so good. And better than mine as coincidentally we just made brisket and mac and cheese for dinner tonight. Though I'm sure Polite Pig can outdo the Tipsy Cook any day of the weekI got the brisket with mac and cheese, coleslaw, and cornbread. This was so good. The brisket was smoky, tender, and very flavorful.
Love this! Great pick
I hadn't seen this one. Love all the vintage stuff. We are in the process of finishing our basement in a 60's/70's retro style (the space walk scene in Space Ship Earth is our inspiration). This print would be perfect for it.
I love this print!

That's where we stayed too and I sure did love how close it was to everything. And it was quiet despite. It was in Sago Cay facing the interior of the resort. I had requested Conch Key facing the water, oh well it was on the upper floor so that was a plus. Sago Cay is close to the bus stop, the QS, and main building.
Awesome deal!!I have some exciting news about my January trip. I was checking prices this morning on the Disney website and found The Destino Tower for about $160.00 a night with a water view. I jumped on this for our last 4 nights at WDW.
I think your GF room may have been one of the dormer rooms which are a little smaller than the regular rooms. I do love the vaulted ceilings though. The room did seem smaller than the YC, maybe because of the carpeting? The wood floors at YC and the corner room definitely felt larger. We rested for awhile and our luggage was brought up. I was texting with Doc and Tracy, the plan was to meet up with them at AK later today. Doc had made his famous cheesecake for us. What a nice gesture, he sure didn’t have to do this.
Stay tuned for another fun Dis meet, a scary moment, and Yak and Yeti! Oh and total disclaimer I messed up saying the Rhino tour was coming up, it is on the next day of the trip, sorry!
We are going to have so much fun!!!!and DAH at MK as our extras this trip
He sure didThe PM is a great place to visit, Walt sure had wonderful ideas!
This is so beautiful, Caroline!
Love your dress
You were facing our room from our last stay. The building on rt. side 3'rd floor, aabout 2 doors to the right of the exit. I found this location very loud, did you hear all of the linen carts they carted to your building to send out to the laundry? They echoed so loudly across the water.
I was surprised the Destino tower had such good pricing especially for the water viewNice! Good for you
This was really good and I could finally have some meat!Holy cow... uh... um...
I mean, wow! That looks amazing!
I highly recommend the Mac and cheese, it is a smaller portion, perfect for a side or snack!I'm drooling...
No I just loved it because of the people mover theme, favorite ride!Did you get it?
Okay, your Plan next time at DS, Polite Pig with dessert at GhiradelliBelieve it or not... I have never been there.
I know! I was fine with our room, however, I think I am giving up on the TP fax system, my requests have been ignored the last several times. I am trying the Disney system this time to compare if I have better luck. Do you remember the room you and your daughter had at OKW? We will be there our first part of January trip. I want to be close to the hospitality house.Well, that's unfortunate.
This Mac and cheese is really good! You can just order this as a snack if you want, very good. I always have a huge list of new items to try.I looooove mac and cheese. Still haven't tried Polite Pig will have to add this to my ever growing list of places to eat
I agree, I was excited and it’s a water view, yay!Wow, that is a great price!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see what you think of it
I am sure yours was delicious! This place was very good, I could tell the Mac and cheese was homemadeYum this looks so good. And better than mine as coincidentally we just made brisket and mac and cheese for dinner tonight. Though I'm sure Polite Pig can outdo the Tipsy Cook any day of the week
It is so pretty at night with the candle in it, it has the castle on all sidesLove this! Great pick
This would be perfect for your basement theme. It was in the Co-op area at MarketplaceI hadn't seen this one. Love all the vintage stuff. We are in the process of finishing our basement in a 60's/70's retro style (the space walk scene in Space Ship Earth is our inspiration). This print would be perfect for it.
It is more than Pop of course but really not by much and so grand looking!Hot diggity!! Nice find!
This was a good place to try, I would eat here againBoy, that sure looks good!
It was nice and quiet, such a plusThat's where we stayed too and I sure did love how close it was to everything. And it was quiet despite.
I‘m excited to stay here especially with a water view, yayAwesome deal!!
Ahh, you are right. I have read about the dormer rooms. It was, we did love the vaulted ceiling, however, it was smaller. With just two of us, it was okay.I think your GF room may have been one of the dormer rooms which are a little smaller than the regular rooms. I do love the vaulted ceilings though.
