DAY 9
DH dropped everyone off at Epcot and then came to the hospital. They were going to release me today. Keep in mind when I went to the hospital, I was wearing my PJs. I asked DH to bring me some clothing that I could wear instead of my jammies. When he got to the hospital, he didn't have my clothes. I asked where my clothing was and he replied, “I didn't bring any because I thought it would save you some laundry!” Are you kidding me?!!!
Let’s look at how many things are wrong this:
1. I asked him to bring me clothes. Nothing else matters – he should have followed my directions.
2. Um, excuse me? Did he actually say “save YOU some laundry”??? Did he seriously think I was going to do laundry after all that I’d been through???
3. I was wearing hospital gowns for several days. I wasn't wearing my clothes. I don’t think I needed to worry about not having enough clothing.
Why did he think I asked him to bring some clothing? What is wrong with that man? I had to repeat in my head about a thousand times, “Remember, you love him, remember you love him, remember you love him.” So the first thing we did after leaving the hospital was to go back to the condo where we were staying and I changed my clothes.
I think these shirts were tied with our favorite shirts of the trip. I also made headpieces and necklaces for the girls. Here's what the t-shirts look like:

It's kind of hard to see from the photo, but the shirts say, "I'm Just a Little Concerned With the Number of Lunatics on this Trip!" It seemed to be quite popular - we got lots of comments on them.
Here are the headpieces I made for the girls:

I was so sick of hospitals and I really wanted to get out so we went to Epcot and met up with the rest of the family. Even when I’m not injured, I cannot walk a long distance so whenever we go to Disney, we rent a
scooter for me to get around. Let me tell you, riding in a scooter over the bumpy ground and uneven surfaces when you have a horrific headache, a broken tail bone and broken ribs – HURT!!! I never realized how much you get bounced around when you are in a wheelchair or on a scooter. It was quite unpleasant!
For lunch we ate at Via Napoli Pizzariae Ristorante. DD had gluten-free pasta. The adults all split a pizza. It was HUGE and delicious!

We were too full from the pizza to have any desserts.
After a short while, I told my family that I just could not go around anymore and it was so hot (93 degrees with 90% humidity) I needed to get inside. We went into a pavilion where some of the demonstrations were going on for the Food and Wine Festival. Ghirardelli had a place set up there and they had this chocolate drink you could buy. We went to the counter and ordered 5 drinks – one for each of us. The lady told us that we would never drink that much (mind you, each drink was only about 2 ounces). I told the lady she was crazy and we all love chocolate! She still said we wouldn’t drink that much and I told her she didn’t know me! She insisted that we should only buy 2. I finally agreed to buy 3 but I bet her I’d be back to buy more! OMG! This is what I imagine heaven to be! I have never tasted anything so rich and chocolatey in all my life! I was glad we did get 3 drinks instead of 2 but I’ll be honest, it was hard finishing up that third drink. I did end up going back to get some more – (granted, it was several hours later), but I did go back!
I was so excited because they had some mix there that made the chocolate drink. I bought 2 cans, DD bought 2 cans and DS bought 2 cans. (I wanted to buy more, but DH reminded me that the airlines have weight limits and we only had so much room in our suitcases.) I only hope it is as good as what we had there.
Ghirardelli also had some really cool chocolate sculptures. Sorry the pictures aren't that great but all the sculptures were behind glass and it is hard to photograph.

While I stayed put, the family went around the World Showcase visiting all the countries. DS bought a beautiful coo-coo clock in Germany. DD did the Agent P adventure. It is really neat. Even the adults in our group loved doing it. They all highly recommend doing it. They all agreed that the adventure in Mexico was the best so if you are only able to do one adventure, make sure it’s Mexico!
In the evening, we went back to our condo and made some chicken cordon bleu for dinner. No one wanted any dessert - I think we were still on our “chocolate high”.
Have a wonderful day everyone! Hugs to everyone that needs them!
