Oh..don't feel bad..you're forgiven! Hey..my own mother called me a day late. She thought my birthday was on Monday, since I was born on Columbus Day...the official day..before the Monday holiday bill, that has us celebrating all the holiday's on the Monday of the week they occur in.

She calls and say's..."Happy Birthday."....a tone of embarassment in her voice she adds.."It was yesterday right?.

"Yep, mom"..I reply.."Don't worry about it, Thank you."

"Well, you know... you WERE born ON Columbus Day, the REAL day..and today is Columbus Day... Who's the idiot that changed it?"

You want to explain this to her...? Not me.
