A Last Hurrah Trip! We just didn't know it at the time. (A Pre-COVID Trip Report)

That sounds awesome! Nathan would be like Andy that way, I think. He'd love to have a pool someday.
Above Ground Pool with a deck is the way to go! It's like a third of the cost of an in ground pool! But it's still a pool.

We like the upstairs seating, too! It may not be quite as good as it used to be, but still a good staple for quick service :)
Very true! We usually end up there once a trip.

Ooh that stinks! It looks visually interesting, but not what I'd expect for a noodle dish, and definitely not what Morgan wanted
I think it was too, she had one thing in her head and this wasn't it, so it was just disapointing...

Gwen had quite a haul at this point! And I get why you didn't want her to get that one since it's so big, but it's adorable! I see why she loves it!
And she does still love the thing. So, i cna't say it was money wasted.

So glad you had a great meal at Le Cellier! Makes me proud of my country! We've had some really good meals there, and some just okay ones, but never bad.
I wish they had a counter service option for Canada as well. A real one...

Hello Everyone!!!

Happy Wednesday! (I had to think what day it was!) Oye! Life has been crazy around here! School is fully up and running again and the girls have fairly full schedules. Gwen is trying out for the school play, and rock climbing. And Morgan is doing concert band, jazz band, tech crew AND swimming! She has literally gone from being a hermit to being an over achiever! I am very proud of them, but man alive by Friday they are TIRED!!!!

I am going to admit something... I have 2 days left in this trip and I just looked at my notes, and the notes are getting REAL thin! I do want to finish up the days but they will probably be less detailed. But I WILL finish! (also this next morning was one of those not so great mornings)

Day Eight: Back at it again!

IMG_1670
So, here is today's "schedule" We were headed to Hollywood Studios AGAIN to try for yet another Rise boarding Group. BUT I think we decided not to try. We were still going to go to Hollywood Studios...

IMG_1671
Gwen was up around 6:50 and checking out what Tink left. Today was baithing suits for the girls! We had plans to come back and swim. And I knew they would get use out of the suits after the fact.

IMG_1694
We the room around 7:40 and were waiting for the boat at 7:50
IMG_1694

IMG_1694

IMG_1694
We must not have waited too long, as we were in the park at 8:20.

IMG_1694
We had decided to ride Rock'n Roller Coaster first this morning so we headed that way. And we got there and the line was LONG!!!!

At this time, with needing to be in the park to get a boarding group, the idea of low waits in the morning had gone away. Plus it was now President's weekend. And the crowds had arrived!

We got in line, as our first fast pass was Star Tours 9:05 - 10:05. We figured we had time.
IMG_1694

We waited and waited and waited.

We debated getting out of line MANY times. But when I would look in the app, EVERYTHING had SUPER long waits. So, there was no where else to go. So, we just stuck it out.

We got up to the top of the ramp to go inside and got to a complete stand still.

IMG_1694
It took all the way till 10:00 to get inside the building!

IMG_1694

IMG_1694
And we were finally ready to ride at 10:20. So, a full 2 hours!!! It was NOT great! And I have to admit it really soured us for the rest of the morning.

Def NOT how long we wanted to wait but at one point we had waited so long that we felt like we had to stay. I think while we were waiting in line, I changed our Star Tours fast pass to something later in the day? Maybe?

After our century long wait, we headed to Toy Storyland to ride Toy Story Mania with our fast pass.

IMG_1712
We got to see these guys go by.

IMG_1712 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
And in no time we were on the ride! A nice change of pace!!!

I don't have pictures of our scores, but I am pretty sure Andy beat Morgan. And she was super mad about it. Sigh...

We talked about what to do next, and it was just super crowded and we were just NOT feeling it. We decided to head out of the park. We headed back to hotel. I think we chilled for a little bit before our lunch reservation.

Up next Lunch at Beaches and Cream!

Day Eight: Lunch!

So, we were able to go to Beaches and Cream once before they remodeled it. And this was going to be the first time since they expanded it.

IMG_1717
We arrived around 12:10 and were seated around 12:20.

Once inside, the first thing Gwen said was " I liked the old version better" I have to say, I don't completely blame her but they really needed to make it bigger as it was TINY before.

The girls started with fancy milk shakes.
IMG_1717
Morgan went with the Brownie Chocolate Milk Shake

Chocolate Brownie Shake
Chocolate Shake with an Ooey-gooey Brownie, Whipped Cream, and Chocolate shavings served in a souvenir cup

When the waitress brought this out, Morgan's eyes got a million times bigger. She was NOT expecting a full brownie on top of her milkshake.

Untitled
Gwen went with the MInnie Stawberry Milkshake

Strawberry Cupcake Shake
Strawberry Shake with an Strawberry Minnie Cupcake and Whipped Cream served in a souvenir cup

As you can tell, Gwen is VERY excitied about hers.

Both milk shakes were fine. Both girls didn't even eat the toppings. But our server gave us boxes to take the dessert back to the room with us.

IMG_1717
I went with the Tropical Sunrise Float

Ace Pineapple Hard Cider with Rainbow Sherbet

I loved this. I weirdly love sherbet and I love the pineapple cider, so this was right up my alley. But I will say it was super sweet!

I think Andy went with a Pineapple Cider by itself.

We also ordered an app as we were starving at this piont.
IMG_1717

Cheese and Bacon Tots

Tots with Cheese Sauce, Bacon, Red Onions, and Garlic-Peppercorn Ranch

These were ok. Def hit the spot but not amazing that I would say you have to come just for these. (if that makes sense)I think the girls actually liked them as well.

IMG_7330
Andy and I decided to split a sandwich, much like last time. And it was the perfect amount.

French Dip Sandwich
Toasted French Roll served with Thinly-sliced Roast Beef, Swiss, and Au Jus topped with Crispy-fried Onions

This was again really good but nothing AMAZING.

IMG_1732
Morgan & Gwen decided to split the grilled cheese and tomatoe soup again. And they so nicely split the soup into 2 small bowls for each of the girls.

IMG_1732
Of course Morgan ended up eating both bowls of soup and Gwen ate the grilled cheese. So, they did split it... Just not the way the kitchen thought they would! Ha!

Gwen claims this is here favorite meal on property...

Lunch was good here as usual. We skipped the sundaes since we had milkshakes. And headed back tot he room to change and do some swimming!!!

IMG_1743
We were back at the pool at 2:30. And this is the only picture I got, as I got in the water as well. I am pretty sure we stayed at the pool for a good amount of time. As it was our last chance to swim here at Storm along Bay.

Up next, an evening in HS, will it be any better than the morning?

Above Ground Pool with a deck is the way to go! It's like a third of the cost of an in ground pool! But it's still a pool.

Great advice! I feel like that's probably what we would do, too. Your setup looks great!

I wish they had a counter service option for Canada as well. A real one...

I agree! It would be easy to do and I'm sure people would go if it was decent. I mean I know we have pretty similar food to U.S., but the location would be far enough away from the US stuff, and I feel like there could be variety especially now that the US quick service is mostly BBQ stuff.

Gwen is trying out for the school play, and rock climbing. And Morgan is doing concert band, jazz band, tech crew AND swimming! She has literally gone from being a hermit to being an over achiever! I am very proud of them, but man alive by Friday they are TIRED!!!!

Holy smokes! They are busy! That's fantastic, but I get why they're tired and you're tired! Best of luck to Gwen with going out for the play :)

I am going to admit something... I have 2 days left in this trip and I just looked at my notes, and the notes are getting REAL thin! I do want to finish up the days but they will probably be less detailed. But I WILL finish!

No worries! Whatever you've got is great. I've had some days like that for sure where my notes aren't super comprehensive. Glad you're planning to finish the report anyway :)

51408202242_8f73a699fd_z.jpg

Beautiful picture!

And we were finally ready to ride at 10:20. So, a full 2 hours!!! It was NOT great! And I have to admit it really soured us for the rest of the morning.

Oooff!

Once inside, the first thing Gwen said was " I liked the old version better" I have to say, I don't completely blame her but they really needed to make it bigger as it was TINY before.

We've only been there before the refurb so I'm interested to see what it's like, but I've seen the pictures. I'm kinda with Gwen that I liked the old decor. But it was suuuuper tiny and soo popular so it's really great they expanded it!

Gwen claims this is here favorite meal on property...

Lunch was good here as usual. We skipped the sundaes since we had milkshakes.

It's a pretty solid lunch meal! Hits the spot. I feel ya, Gwen!

I remember the days when the kids had me going in so many different directions. You will survive and someday miss it.

I do want to finish up the days but they will probably be less detailed. But I WILL finish! (also this next morning was one of those not so great mornings)

Thank you for sticking with this to finish. It also sounds like this wasn't such a good day.

We got in line, as our first fast pass was Star Tours 9:05 - 10:05. We figured we had time.

Foreshadowing.

And we were finally ready to ride at 10:20. So, a full 2 hours!!! It was NOT great! And I have to admit it really soured us for the rest of the morning.

That's just too long.

And in no time we were on the ride! A nice change of pace!!!

Much better.

Once inside, the first thing Gwen said was " I liked the old version better" I have to say, I don't completely blame her but they really needed to make it bigger as it was TINY before.

We never went before the remodel. I'm guessing it was more cozy. We have enjoyed the 2 times we have been.

Chocolate Brownie Shake
Chocolate Shake with an Ooey-gooey Brownie, Whipped Cream, and Chocolate shavings served in a souvenir cup

My chocolate loving heart would like this.

Strawberry Cupcake Shake
Strawberry Shake with an Strawberry Minnie Cupcake and Whipped Cream served in a souvenir cup

My love of Minnie and Strawberry would like this too. That's a hard choice.

We got this last time and they were just ok.

Holy smokes! They are busy! That's fantastic, but I get why they're tired and you're tired! Best of luck to Gwen with going out for the play :)
That they are! Gwen found out some of the callbacks. She didn't get called back for a speaking role but is in the ensamble as of now. Which is all I wanted for her first time. She did get called back for special dance that she isn't sure what is.

It was seriously too long! I think we thought about going to single rider, but I doubt on this day would have been any better either.

It's a pretty solid lunch meal! Hits the spot.
It really is. Nothing special but i think that is what is nice about it sometimes. Just regular food!

I have caught up. The Llama plush is so cute!
We have really liked Tokyo Dining the couple times we have been. We stick with sushi and tempura fried goodies!
Yay to boarding group 11, now we will have to wait a long time or pay to ride it, ugh!
The milkshakes look so yummy, to bad they ran out of the souvenir cups a while back and still haven’t replaced these!

Day Eight: An Evening of Redemption?

We swam in the pool for awhile and headed back to the room to shower and get ready to head back to the park

We headed out kind of late, 5:45. And sigh.... this was not the best idea. We should have just found food around the resort and called it a night but it was our last night here, and we really wanted to be in a park.
IMG_1745

We headed out to the boat and saw a boat pulling away.. ;(

So, we decided to use the Skyliner. There was a bit of a line to get on and we were finally on at 6:20.
IMG_1745
Again, we probablly should have walked. We would have been there MUCH faster.

But we did make it!
IMG_1745
And we were on a mission. We wanted to ride Rock n' Roller coaster again. I think I messed with our fastpasses during the afternoon and managed to get a fast pass for RnR. So, we made our way to that part of the park.

IMG_1745
So, at 6:40 we werer back in a familiar area.

IMG_1745
And by 7 we were on the ride. A much better result than the morning.

After our ride, we decided to go to Toy Story land, and ride Toy Story Mania and maybe get some dinner at Woody's lunch box.

IMG_1745
Well, we got over to Woody's and i am pretty sure it was closed!

We got in line for Toy Story Mania. Morgan wanted to reclaim her title as winner of the family.

IMG_1756
The wait was listed as a half hour, which was fine. And they actually had Mr. Potato Head working! We had never actually seen him working!

So that was fun!

We were able to get on the ride with no real issue and Morgan decided to ride with Gwen. Which I said was risky for getting enough points to beat Andy. But she was feeling risky this evening. Go big or go home, right?

IMG_1756
This was Andy's attempt at getting a picture of all of us on the ride...

And off we went! We got through the first few rooms as normal.... And about half way through, we stopped.

And all of a sudden an alarm started going off. LOUDLY!!!!

An announcement comes on the speakers, that we couldn't hear because the alarm was so loud. And of course, this is the ONE time Morgan and Gwen decide to ride together! I can hear them asking what is happening. And I trying to tell them that it will be ok. (like I knew what was going on)

Eventually the lights come on and the alarm noise was lowered a bit. But the emergency lights were still flashing and people were starting to freak out. As we were all still locked into our seats.
IMG_1756
This picture is when the lights came on, and the screens are all off at this point.

IMG_1756
Just waiting our trun to be rescued.

One guy some how wiggled himself out of the seat and was wandering around. CM did finally appear. they had a long metal pole that seemed to unlock the car and a wooden step stool basically to get everyone out of the cars. And obviously this take time.
IMG_1756
Here is a CM opening up the car next to us. It was not a smooth process. The other CM is standing on the wooden steps that they drag to each car. It was substantial!

They kept yelling to stay in there seats and that they would get to everyone. But I think that made more people anxious than reassumed them. And there was one family that I "think" had a child with a disability and they were REALLY freaking out. And I have to say one family freaking out like that really makes YOU nervous. it is really is contagious!

We were eventually let out and were told to follow a CM and then stand against a wall.
IMG_1756

IMG_1756
Oh and not to step on the track. But we were basically left to actually follow the instructions, as the CM had to move on to the next car and there was one poor CM corralling anyone who was free. Most folks listened but as you would guess, there was one person who decided to hop over the track.

IMG_1756
Being evacuated would have been more fun, if there wasn't an alarm going off that made you think that there was a fie or something. But at the moment waiting by the wall, Gwen was super excitied about bing evacuated from her first ride.

We were escorted out after this and were free. We found out that the smoke from the fireworks show tends to trigger the alarm at Toy Story Mania. And that is what had happened. So, my tip, don't ride TSM during fireworks, unless you WANT to be evacuated!

Once we were out, our adrenadline dropped! And Morgan and Gwen melted down big time! Morgan was bummed that she didn't get to finish the ride. And Gwen just processed what happened and kind of freaked herself out. So, needless to say we were done! We decided to head back to the room.

We walked back to the hotel, as the skyliner had a super long line and we just were done with "rides"

On the walk back we talked about what to do about the fact that we hadn't eaten dinner. Andy wanted to try the boardwalk area. But Morgan and Gwen were just done! So, we decided to try the Crew Cup Lounge.

All I know, it THANK GOODNESS this wasn't our last night! This would have been a HUGE bummer of a way to end our trip. The whole day had kind of been a bust, park wise at least. And especially knowing now how life turned out, I can't image our last disney ride being that! But thankfully we had a 3/4 day to re-copurate before leaving.

The girls asked to stay in the room. They wanted to get in there pjs and just chill. We had lots of snacks and stuff left, so they did just that. I was a little nervous leaving them in the room by themselves but we were only going downstairs. So, we headed out.

It was late, so when we sat down, the waiter told us that it was appatizers only at this pint, which was fine iwth us.
IMG_1775
It was really nice in here but you could never know it was there! Kind of strange how it's basically a door to get in. And a solid door at that. In fact our very firt time at Yacht Club, we figured out that the stairs right by it went to our room and we never realized that there was a lounge right there!

Andy and I decided to split 2 things.
IMG_1775
Prime Rib Sliders with Fries.

Our waiter recommended the sauce to go with it. I "think" it was a cheese sauce of some sort.... These were really good and hit the spot.

IMG_1775
We also got the Casear Salad. Which was nothing special but good and went well with the sliders.

I think we both had a beer as well, but no photographic evidence. We did enjoy our time in there. It was nice and relaxing. Once we were done, we headed back upstairs and started to pack up as much as we could! tomorrow was our last day. :(

Up next.. Will our last day be better?

ife has been crazy around here!
I can only fathom. Casey has dance and acro two days a week and wants to start drama club at school. Not quite sure how we are gonna fit all of that in.

At this time, with needing to be in the park to get a boarding group, the idea of low waits in the morning had gone away. Plus it was now President's weekend. And the crowds had arrived!
We tried Presidents weekend once and it was so crowded that was the only time. Casey was actually born on Presidents Day and her birthday is on it again this year, so it takes some work to avoid the weekend but be there for her birthday

IMG_1694
And we were finally ready to ride at 10:20. So, a full 2 hours!!! It was NOT great! And I have to admit it really soured us for the rest of the morning.
2 hours!!!! That is crazy. I'd be sour for sure.

Once inside, the first thing Gwen said was " I liked the old version better" I have to say, I don't completely blame her but they really needed to make it bigger as it was TINY before.
We haven't been to the new one yet but Beaches and Cream has long been a favorite. Its clearly nothing fancy but hits the spot every time

I had no idea they even had milkshakes like these now. Casey would love that. Staying at BWI in December so definitely need to find a way to make this happen.

Ace Pineapple Hard Cider with Rainbow Sherbet

I loved this. I weirdly love sherbet and I love the pineapple cider, so this was right up my alley. But I will say it was super sweet!
That sounds oddly good. I prefer sherbert to ice cream so that sounds really good

IMG_1756
This was Andy's attempt at getting a picture of all of us on the ride...
Now that is an angle on this ride I don't think I've ever seen

One guy some how wiggled himself out of the seat and was wandering around. CM did finally appear. they had a long metal pole that seemed to unlock the car and a wooden step stool basically to get everyone out of the cars. And obviously this take time.
That is crazy they had to do all of that. What if there had been an actual fire? How would they get you out of there quickly? Get safety and all but this seems a little extreme.

But love how you got all the pictures while being evacuated!

IMG_1756
Being evacuated would have been more fun, if there wasn't an alarm going off that made you think that there was a fie or something. But at the moment waiting by the wall, Gwen was super excitied about bing evacuated from her first ride.
I'd so be with Gwen!!! We've never been evacuated from any ride and as long as its now Everest or the Skyliner I'd be oddly excited

I think we both had a beer as well, but no photographic evidence. We did enjoy our time in there. It was nice and relaxing. Once we were done, we headed back upstairs and started to pack up as much as we could! tomorrow was our last day. :(
Sounds like you and Andy made the most out of a rough night. I'm sure some alone time was good for everyone.

We tried Presidents weekend once and it was so crowded that was the only time. Casey was actually born on Presidents Day and her birthday is on it again this year, so it takes some work to avoid the weekend but be there for her birthday
yeah, it's why we picked the first week in February for this coming trip. Although Touring plans has crowd levels the same the 1st week of Feb the same as a Spring break week?!?! I don't understand.

We haven't been to the new one yet but Beaches and Cream has long been a favorite. Its clearly nothing fancy but hits the spot every time
that hasn't changed. And we will be back again. It's great when we stay at Yacht Club.

Now that is an angle on this ride I don't think I've ever seen
Right! I had to look at it a few times to even figure out what I was looking at...

That is crazy they had to do all of that. What if there had been an actual fire? How would they get you out of there quickly? Get safety and all but this seems a little extreme.
I was thinking the same thing. I have to think they would go faster or somehow have more people? if it was a real fire? I am really not sure...

But love how you got all the pictures while being evacuated!
I was trying to snap photos and not be noticed taking photos.. Ha.

Just letting you know I'm all caught up and really enjoyed reading about your B&C meal and day n DHS! :) Lots of fun your sweet little family makes. Now that I'm getting a bit more settled in my new home here in Kentucky, I'll try to stay current and comment more. ;)

We headed out kind of late, 5:45. And sigh.... this was not the best idea. We should have just found food around the resort and called it a night but it was our last night here, and we really wanted to be in a park.

More foreshadowing.

And by 7 we were on the ride. A much better result than the morning.

One good point for the night.

Well, we got over to Woody's and i am pretty sure it was closed!

Hate when this happens. You can just taste the food and then you're shot down.

And all of a sudden an alarm started going off. LOUDLY!!!!

:scared1:

Eventually the lights come on and the alarm noise was lowered a bit. But the emergency lights were still flashing and people were starting to freak out. As we were all still locked into our seats.

Not a good combination.

One guy some how wiggled himself out of the seat and was wandering around. CM did finally appear. they had a long metal pole that seemed to unlock the car and a wooden step stool basically to get everyone out of the cars. And obviously this take time.

Sounds like this needed lots of patience. I sure hope no one needed the bathroom.

They kept yelling to stay in there seats and that they would get to everyone. But I think that made more people anxious than reassumed them. And there was one family that I "think" had a child with a disability and they were REALLY freaking out. There is always one.

But at the moment waiting by the wall, Gwen was super excitied about bing evacuated from her first ride.

I would be like that too. Enjoy the experience.

Once we were out, our adrenadline dropped! And Morgan and Gwen melted down big time! Morgan was bummed that she didn't get to finish the ride. And Gwen just processed what happened and kind of freaked herself out. So, needless to say we were done! We decided to head back to the room.

I was just worrying that this would be your last experience before the shut down.

Prime Rib Sliders with Fries.

Yum!

Glad you are getting settled! it's a lot to move and unpack!

I'm trying to picture where this is, we just had Ale & Compass last month. Is it near there?
So, if you are walking from the Yacht Club lobby towards Yachtsman Steakhouse it is before the entrance to Yachtsman. I think the kitchen is in between the two, if that makes sense....

i found a picture... and it's makes it seem more obvious but I seriously never realized that it was there. It's the lack of windows to look in.

We ate at Yachtsman a few trips back and I do not remember seeing it. I'll have look for it.

Thanks for the help.

Happy Sunday Everyone!!! I hope everyone is having / had a good weekend. We are laying low mostly to let the girls fully recopurate from there illnesses. They are both pretty much back to normal but didn't want them to regress. So, instead Gwen and I are watch allears.net go through the best 50th snacks!

And I have made it to our last day! the dreaded travel day! So, let's get started!!!

Last Day :(

Today was our last day. This was also literally our last day on our annual passes. ;( Double sadness. But since I knew that we wouldn't be back for a year (que laughing) i booked a late flight home so we would have a good 3/4 length park day.

Here was our last "plan" for the day
I
Which as a side note... I guess I won't be able to do these for future trips... What will I do with my time?!?

We had to get everything packed up this morning and bring everything down to bell services. So, we were up around 6:30.

IMG_1782
Gwen found the last Tinkerbell gift.

Today was blankets to use on the plane home.
IMG_1784
Gwen has become OBSESSED with blankets. So, she was super excitied about these. And I was excitied because I got them on sales at Christmas time for $2 a piece!

We all got dressed and packed everything up. And we managed to be at the bus stop at 8:20. Not too bad.
IMG_1790
And as we walked upa Magic Kingdom bus pulled up at the same time. I remotely remember saying to run to catch the bus. And Morgan yelling that she didn't want to run. But we left her in the dust, so she didn't have much of a choice.

But it paid off as we were at teh park at 8:53.
IMG_1791

And walking down Main Street at 8:57!
IMG_1793

Looks like we managed to grab one last photo in front of the castle.
IMG_1795
I look at this picture and all I see is that we were clearly at the end of our waredrobe! Ha.

We quickly moved to our first ride, Haunted Mansion!
IMG_1795
We were in the que at 9:05, so we did well!

IMG_1795
HM was a walk on at this time of morning and were in the stretching room by 9:11.

IMG_1795

Gwen was even brave enough to even go with Morgan and not me for the first time!
IMG_7350
She looks like she isn't sure she made the right decision in this picture but she did survive the ride!

IMG_7349
Andy and I finally figured out where the photo was well kind of as I am still kind of looking the wrong direction...

After our spin with some ghosts, we headed to see some dolly's.

We were on the Happiest cruise ever around 9:27. We love this ride, as I have mentioned before and seems to alwasy bea last day ride for us.

IMG_1813

IMG_1813

I swear we go on our last day just to see this:

IMG_1813

I requested the next stop, Enchanted Tales with Belle! This is such a sweet encounter and we skip it most times now that the girls are older.
IMG_1834

IMG_1843

I just love this room and the miror effect.
IMG_1834
We all basically stood to the side to let the little kids in the front. Which was sad that the girls weren't included in the little kids.

IMG_1845 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

IMG_1848
Again, the girls were too big and weren't selected for a part. I don't think they even tried.. but I do wish they would pick bigger kids to be the 2 guards. But they were fine with it.

IMG_7348
We sat in the back row to let the parents get good shots of there kiddos. Which my tip would be, to try and get the end seat to be able to lean out into the aislway to get good shot of your kids.

This was nice as always, no photos of the show as none were our kids. I am glad we did it again but it def looses a little of it's luster if you don't have a little kid.

After that, we decided to go ride Little Mermaid. I think we were doing good doing rides in the same area-ish.
IMG_1857
We were walking on to the ride around 10:08

IMG_1857
We found a few sea shells in the que.

IMG_1857
This one is my favorite

IMG_1869
Little Mermaid was great as usual. We also always enjoy this ride and at this point usually doesn't have too long of a wait.

After that, it was time for our first fastpass. Space Mountain.
IMG_1882

With our fast pass we were on in no time and riding.
IMG_1904

Andy sat this out again. I think he got a Jofferies iced coffee and just sat outside and waited for us.

The girls insisted that me and Andy try the Tron bikes out while we were there.
IMG_1885
And you are really leaning forward on these biikes!! And that first drop out of the building is high!!! This is going to be a crazy ride!!

Up next the rest of our day? Any guesses on what our VERY last ride will be?

Last Day :(

I have in my notes that we stopped in Big Top Treats, I assume I wanted to get another chocolate cover pineapple on our last day. And if I had to guess we probably got 2 to split between the 4 of us.

After that, we headed to use our next fast pass.
IMG_1888
Back Row Baby!!!

IMG_1888
The girls were happy to have the back row. It is the best place to be!

IMG_1888

After our ride in the wilderness, we headed to lunch.

Today, I booked us lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern. We had never been here and I liked the lunch menu since you didn't HAVE to get the big thanksgiving meal.

We checking right at our reservation time, 11:55. And only waited a little bit.

IMG_7353
It was nice a quiet in the lobby / waiting area.

IMG_7354

We were seated in an awsome table right by the windows.

At this point, only Gwen would get the kids placemat and crayons. Sometimes they would ask if Morgan wanted one or not. But today they worked on the puzzle together.

We ordered drinks first.

I went with a Sangria
Liberty Sangria

Red Wine with hints of Apple and Spice
IMG_1904
Which was fine. It wasn't terrible but wasn't amazing. I do kind of remember it not being overly sweet.

Andy ordered a beer of some sort, and Morgan and Gwen went with Lemonades.

We ordered the Fritters to share.
IMG_1904
I don't remember them but they must have been good, as we scarfed them down and I barely rememberd to get this photo of the last one.

Morgan ordered the Chicken Pot Pie
IMG_1904
And she LOVED this. It was more of a chicken pot pie soup but she loved it.

Gwen had the kids Mac and Cheese with apple slices.
IMG_1904
Gwen liked this but I don't think it was anything special. And I feel like it wasn't the same as what they give you with the dinner? Not sure.

Andy had the Pot Roast.
IMG_1904
Which I never make, I think Pot Roast is gross. But he grew up on it an dat the time he was really happy with it. But he doesn't remember it now, which leads me to believe it was just ok. A soild good.

And I ordered the Fish and Chips.
IMG_1904
This was just ok. Again it wasn't bad but it wasn't amazing. I think it hit the spot at the time but it was pretty standard.

But the real star of the show... Dessert
IMG_1904
Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake
Vanilla Toffee Cake, Chocolate Sauce, and Vanilla Ice Cream

The Sticky Toffee Pudding!!! I basically booked this just so Andy and Morgan could have this. And this did not disapoint!

I think Gwen got a dessert with her kids meal and asked for the Sorbet
IMG_1911
This turned out to be the sleeper dessert. It was very refreshing and Gwen LOVED It.

IMG_1904

We enjoyed our meal. I would go back if we could do the ala cart menu again. But I also haven't been dreaming about any of the food here.

When we came out of Liberty Tree Tavern, the muppets show was happening. So, we stopped and watched the end portion.
IMG_1920

We didn't hang around too long, we had one last fast pass to use before leaving.

The Speedway!

IMG_1935 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

Morgan rode by herself, so I got to drive a car! Yeah!! maybe... ha. But the girls enjoyed it as usual.

And that folks was our last ride! Yup... the speedway... I didn't realized that it would be our last ride and I guess I don't normally think about what the last ride would be. But after this year, I kind of wish I had.

At any rate, we left the speed way and made our way out of the park.

IMG_1937
We pit stopped at the Purple Wall. And I am pretty sure I grabbed a few last treats from the Confectionary on the way out.

We left Magic Kingdom a little before 2 and were back at the resort a little after 3.

IMG_1937 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr
This bag Gwen is holding has majority of the plushes.

IMG_1937
Both girls were sad to be leaving but Gwen was especialy sad. We all were.

Magical Express picked us up around 3:30 - 3:45 and we were in teh airport by 4:50
IMG_1937
More pictures of disguist from Gwen.

We got through security and found a place to eat some dinner. Chilli's! All I will say was it was gross! But it filled our bellies.

I had one last vacation beer.
IMG_1937 by Ariella Saucier, on Flickr

And the girls opened up one last wishable. A few trips it became a tradition to buy one in the Disney Store at the airport. They were happy with what they got. And it was a nice finish to the trip.

We talked about what we liked the most of the trip and I think we talked about all the trips we got to take over the course of our annual passes.

We ate and headed to our gate. No drama with the flight home.
IMG_1937
Just a mini photo shoot with me and Gwen in our matching sweat shirts. Gwen loved that we got the same one. And she wears it all the time. In fact she wore it to school this week and I noticed how it fit her so much better now.

And just one more picture of Gwen with her distaste that we were headed back to reality. We arrived back to Philly around 10 PM. And Gwen was TIRED! We all were!

Thanks for following along! We had a great time! And def didn't think it would be a full 2 years before we would be back.

And I asked Gwen to collect all of the Plush from the trip. Where she informed me that the baby Navi was Morgan's. So, here is the offical plush count for each

Gwen's Plush Count:
