RAGLAN ROAD
We usually eat here every trip and this time we wanted to try some new
things. Luckily, a few new items were just placed on the menu.
It's like they knew that we were coming.
Fact: you do not need to be Irish to eat here...
I know it comes with the oil/lube dip but I require butter. Better believe it baby.
Butter makes everything better. Maybe not if you put butter on butter, still just butter...
About 15 years ago my wife tried this, she likes shrooms and I hate them
but she made me try it and it was awesome, only never to be seen again
at least every time after we dined here. Guess what the soup of the day was?
Thats right wonderful creamy shroom soup. Not sure why I like it but I never
have shrooms any other way. Ekkkkkk. Unless I was trippin from the shroom
soup and thought it liked it. Hmmmmm.....

Not to shabby but sent the first one back, it was served room temp.
Second one was warmer, but not as great as we would have thought.
The wings were good but not as good as the ones from Tambu Lounge.
Mustard sauce was very good and I saved it to dip other things into it.
Dipping things into things is tight.
We really didn't love it but people raved about it and we got let down.
Fish & Chips again next trip. Great onion rings.

EVERYTHING POP
While staying at Riviera we like to ride the Skyliner over to Pop just to walk thru
the food court. After seeing Todd & Michelle post a video on Youtube about the pot roast
how could we not try it. We would have to be psychopaths not to. Glad we did.
Wow, amazing perfection. Wonderfully tender and impeccably seasoned meat.
Roasted spuds also spot on. Even the green beans shined. Side of gravy and this
meal was plenty to share. Wanted to grab it another night and a storm
so the skyliner was down. Next time if it's there its ours....

POLYNESIAN POOL BAR
wife wanted to check out the drink and it started to storm, so
we hurried back inside to enjoy it.
Not really great, certainly not worth it either.
We are not drinkers but some frozen drinks she likes to try.
not made to how it was pictured.....Sad.
We used to love Poly after the one night here, love is no more.
Glad we sold our DVC here.....

TAMBU LOUNGE
A new surprise for us was eating at Tambu Lounge. We stayed there for 1 night on arrival and
never got anything before even when we owned here.
Wanting to hang around the resort for the one night here we'll give it a go.
We stalked the bar area for a few minutes and luckily snagged a good
front corner of the bar seat. Not much seating to be had and to order food we had to be in the lounge.
The wings were some of the best on property. Wonderfully crispy and excellent sauce coverage.
Even enjoyed the plating. Shame we only got the one plate.
$12 is pricey for the amount, but still worth it.
Perfectly fried and great filling, plus they gave a large amount and only $12, deal indeed.
We got free noodles. They brought it out to us and we never ordered it,
so she let us keep it and they were surprisingly tasty and I never cared for noodles.
Would order next time. Enjoyed immensely.
Of course the bread pudding is still excellent but not as good as Sebastian's.
Had to still get it when we're here. In hindsight we should have ate in Ohana.
Perhaps Ohana is back on the list.
No wonder Moana is always happy she eats for free.

Got to kick off the 2 week trip by immediately getting
our drink mug. Well worth it for us. Love having the freedom to
use it at any resort and Riviera has Coke Freestyle.
We much have filled it 40-50 times in the 2 weeks.
Wish more resorts use the freestyle, we only drink diet and
that has the best and biggest selections.
Tonga was a bit dry and lacked the amount of banana that its had in the
past. Eggs were passable and bacon. Loved the potatoes.
Biscuit sucked. French toast droopy and sad. At least we had some grub
before we went to our next stop Copper Creek, YA a real cozy home resort.

This is great! Love your review with the pictures, descriptions, costs and then of course your thoughts of each. Looks like you got around and were able to try lots of different places / items.

POLITE PIG
Every trip this is a must, but only once this time.
When we stay at Saratoga we'll get it a few times.
Meatballs are always exquisite. Same goes for the brussels. Wish I could make it like this at home.
Brats were excellent and a first for us. Loved the flavor and snap.
Tots just okay, needs more crisp and not cheese on top.

PIZZA PONTE
Had a hankering for a few slices right after our Polite Pig meal,
we became pigs and grabbed some. We also were polite pigs as we
thanked them for the slices. Oink Oink my good man...
Decent slices and large, but as seen a "tad" overpriced.
I liked the 4 cheese more and wife liked the pepperoni more.
Both were good and hit the spot. Pep-pep-pepperoni-o-o-ni YA!
We will stick to the awesome Blaze for now on.

PEPE'
We love Jaleo and Pepe was never reopened until recently, so
we were very excited to finally try it.
We loved everything was freshly made, and were able to get some
different items not on the Jaleo menu.

Fantastic flavors and tender beef, loved the onions & cheese coverage.
Whatever this bread is I need it in my face daily. Perfection.
Downside: no sides came with it for the steep price.
Same as the ones in Jaleo and nothing short of magic.
Little crispy wisps of chicken creamy insides to make my insides joyous.
Very good hotdog, price to size and lack of side is a bit disappointing.
Loved it all, but May's trip going back to Jaleo.

LUNCHING PAD
Out of all of our trips we were surprised we never tried it here.
Nice portion and not a over powering flavor.
We liked it for a early morning protein.
Decent price of the amount too.
Still could not find out where the lunch pads are kept....

COLUMBIA HARBOUR HOUSE
Got out of the heat for some cold water and figured since it
reopened since our January trip, let's get some fried proteins.
Who doesn't like their chicken,fish & shrimps batter and tossed into
hot greasy grease. We do. So heck ya it was enjoyable.
Not a fan of hushpuppies even since I found out how they're made.
Poor lil'pups. Told to hush up before they get slayed......
with kisses.

LIBERTY TREE TAVERN
Liberty Tree Tavern is always one of our must do every trip and this was no exception.
This time I did try the steak fries which you just have to ask for.
So exceptionally scrumptious and dipping them into gravy ramped it up levels.
I noticed on the menu for vegans is an Apple dessert and I asked to try it.
It was surprisingly tasty. Service was exceptional as usual.
Just happy to be eating here again.
Not bad, gotta have some veggies. BUT......
Grabbed a pack of dressing from Roaring forks that morning and tossed
into the park bag. Added the ranch to the already applied dressing
made it much better. I am smart.
Meh, nothing worth chewing on. More room for the MEATS!
I do use the butter for the potatoes.
My favorite green beans, I wanna know how they do it.
Smooth and slightly lumpy spuds. Just perfect.
Even better spuds. Wonderfully perfectly salted and crisp.
Dip em, dunk em, just don't stick em in your ears.

Pork is good, turkey is okay. Just not a lover of turkey. Plus it would be

I just want to cuddle it and eat it all the time.
