Alcohol question - free? really??

Sometimes on the bar top machines it's one drink for every $20 in play at the local places.

The easiest way to drink free is to play poker and fold your cards nearly every hand and pay the blinds as they pass you.

I am taking my husband to Vegas for the first time in his life.... He will be 50 when we go.

I have no idea where to go or what to do, but thanks for the advice on the drinks...

Couple pieces of advice if you want to do a little research before going ... Read the "Unofficial Guide to Las Vegas." Then read some of the trip reports that people post on lasvegastripreport.com and openvegas.com. I can't tell you how many tips I've picked up from those reports!

My DH and I also purchase the American Casino Guide and do coupon runs. Helps get us into various casinos on a limited budget!!

this last trip we "happened" to stop into the Hacienda over in Boulder City with a coupon. What a hoot!! Ended up getting asked to leave after 5 hours of BJ play with other Midwesterners .... seems we were "too loud" -- the place was almost empty!!!! Great afternoon and a great story!

Anyway, you will have a blast! If you are there more than a few days, you may want to get a rental car. We get one every trip now and tend to frequent the casinos off-strip. LOVE, love, love South Point Casino!
