Born in '97, 26 going on 27 years old ... THIS thread is what taught me that snipe hunts are real and not just something written in to the movie "Up"!

My other thread started down the snipe hunting path. It's not letting me add a poll - so share your stories. I went on one as a teen with my church youth group.

Yep when I was a little kid and very gullible! LOL, but never caught one

We got 6" of snow Friday night so our 2-year-old Golden Retriever is on a snipe hunt in the back yard right now. Her 3-year-old Golden Retriever brother is supervising and sending her to different locations in the yard.

Ohio hunting regulatons permit hunting with a shotgun from September into November, and in December with a daily bag limit of 8. So at least in Ohio you can go on a real snipe hunt. (Just remember your hunting license and follow the regulations )
