BEST. DAY. EVER. May '17 w/Chunkymonkey and Chubbyhubby NEW 8/28 x2 THE END!!

We had some time to walk around before the movie (I had reserved seats in the dine-in theater),

We did that too. I thought it was cool you could pick your actual seats. You can't do that at any theaters around here, but I don't think we have any AMC's.

This Lion King tank was cute and different with the lace at the top. Now that I look at the picture though I think it makes me look very chesty, although I didn't get that in person. Hmm, maybe this photographs differently.

I like it a lot! The lace makes it look kind of elegant. I don't think you look too chesty in it.

I saved 20% with the AP discount. I love that thing. :) Maybe I'll pick up the other items on another trip as I did really think everything was cute and comfy.

I do too. September is my last chance to use the discount :rotfl: I better make it count.

The movie was great! We really enjoyed it and highly recommend it. It felt more comical than the first one though, but lots of action as expected. :)

I loved it!

Double Update Today!!:yay::yay:

May the 5th Part 4: Homecoming and I AM GROOT CUP

After the movie we realized we still had an hour to kill before our 6pm ADR at Homecoming. I didn't really need to shop for anything else, and Steve would have just went back to Starbucks until dinner, so I thought we should check to see if we could be seated early instead. This would actually give us more time to head back to DHS to meet with Starlord and Baby Groot! Steve was wearing his Starlord T-shirt and I thought we should try to meet him today if possible.

We headed over to Homecoming, and to our delight, they were able to seat us early. Sadly this would make us miss @Raeven because she had a later ADR here, but she said they were going to have drinks at Jock Lindsey's so we were going to stop by after dinner to say hi.

We were seated next to the open kitchen

It was nice to see the food coming out, it was mouthwatering!

Since it was rather early, I was not super hungry yet, so we didn't get appetizers. We did get cocktails though.

On the left you have DH's drink, the Apple Pie A La Mode: Ole Smokey Apple Pie Moonshine, vanilla vodka, apple juice, cinnamon, house-made simple syrup and a dash of lemon. On the right you have mine, the Moonshine Mash: Watermelon-infused moonshine, fresh watermelon, lime juice and simple syrup.

I really liked my drink a lot, it was really refreshing. Steve's was a little weird for me, but maybe it's because the favorite part of apple pie for me is the crust and not so much the apple part. I don't even like cinnamon that much either. He really liked it though.

For an entree, I was toying between the Art's Famous Fried Chicken or the Fried Chicken n Doughnuts. Our waitress said she liked the doughnut one, so that's what I got. I figure this way I wouldn't have to order dessert! Here it is:

It was definitely huge and quite tasty. The doughnuts were a little greasy though but maybe it's because everything is so...fried. Haha. The mashed potatoes I thought were delicious. I also detected a faint taste of some herb in the chicken. I want to say it's thyme. It wasn't bad it was just unexpected. Which leads me to this thought...I prefer 50's Prime Time fried chicken over Homecoming's.

There I said it...:duck:

There's just something really homey and comforting about the fried chicken at 50's Prime Time, there's no fussy herbs, and the coating was perfectly crisp. Don't get me wrong, Homecoming's was good I just preferred 50's prime time a little more. However I would be glad to have Homecoming's fried chicken again and next time I'll try the Art's Famous Fried Chicken which comes with cheddar drop biscuits and the same mashed potatoes.

DH got the Shrimp n Grits which he really enjoyed. I had a few bites and the grits I thought were really good, but I definitely prefer the shrimp n grits at California Grill brunch more. That was probably my favorite shrimp n grits I've ever had.

We also got a side of the collard greens, probably with it being a southern-inspired restaurant and all. It was both savory and tangy. Pretty good but not my favorite greens I've had.

We skipped dessert because I already had my doughnuts, and we were just too full. We also had a mission and wanted to get started on that quickly! So we got the check and were ready to go. But of course getting our check took like 20 minutes but at least it came and we were on our way.

First we walked over to Jock Lindsey's to stop by and say hi to @Raeven, her bf Josh, and little did I know it at the time, @xlsm too!!!
They were seated in the back of the bar so we went to say hi. We chatted for a bit and we talked about what they were drinking and they told us about how they got into some trouble for moving seats  #troublemakers

Sadly we had to part ways as we had to make it to DHS!! So we said bye and went back to the bus stop to the Boardwalk. I don't remember how long we waited but it wasn't too long. There was a family with grown children waiting in front of us. The dad was being, well a DAD, and just cracking mortifying jokes and stuff like that.
The rest of his family members including his wife looked at me and said, "We don't know him."
Then the Dad told me that all he's useful for is being an ATM machine.
All their kids roll their eyes.

I love it when families get this cute.

Soon we were back at the Boardwalk. I dropped off my purchases, but not before changing into my newly purchased Star Wars tank! Grabbed a sweatshirt as it was getting slightly chilly, and headed out towards the ferry. I remembered to make an FP+ reservation too: TSM!!

In no time at all we were at Hollywood Studios!

I thought I knew where to find the Baby Groot cups. Since I had been looking for the BB-8 cup last year, I knew they would probably sell them at the same place...The kiosk right in front of the Hollywoood Studios arch which leads to Launch Bay. And yes, they had the Baby Groot cup so I got one with coke, which I don't really like to drink but will drink in a pinch.

I. AM. GROOT. CUP.

So now, Baby Groop cup in hand, we headed to One Man's Dream to get on line for the meet 'n greet. I was expecting this be an hour wait because it's the first day and everyone was so excited. Turns out the wait posted was 45 minutes which was not bad.

However it was a much less of a wait than 45 minutes as people realized it was time for Fantasmic!, so about half the people left as I was on line. I moved up half the line in only 10 minutes. Pretty soon, we were near the front, and before you knew it, we were front and center with Baby Groot and Star Lord

The meet n greet was funny but this Star Lord was a bit too scrawny and thin for the role. He had the right attitude but needed some girth. I don't even think the costume fit him that well. It's funny though that Steve saw him working out at the Boardwalk gym the next day. You know, gotta get ripped, and he has a looooong way to go. Hahaha.

Baby Groot was cute, he moves and dances.

Right after, we checked out the wait times for Toy Story....and there was NONE, there was no need for fast pass either. We walked on THREE times. I'm not kidding, it was amazing! This never happens for us!

At 9:30pm they closed the park so we had to leave very soon. On the way out of the park we decided to catch a glimpse of the SW Fireworks.

We squeezed into a spot last minute and here we are again.

It was much less crowded tonight but we stood towards the back to get a head start getting out of the park.

Thankfully it wasn't a crowded day at all in DHS. I think most crowds were there for May the 4th only. We caught the first ferry out and back to our resort. I just love being so close to these parks.

What a wonderful day! We got a yummy brunch at the Beach Club, lunch at the Flower and Garden kiosks, shopped Downtown Disney Springs, watched an awesome movie, met some Disboard friends, had a great southern dinner, and ended with a brand new Meet n Greet and SW Fireworks. What day could top this? :cloud9:

Well only a BEST DAY EVER. There are only two more days left for our trip, and one of the will HAVE to be a best day ever right? :rolleyes1

Stay tuned....Bon Voyage Breakfast at the Boardwalk!

Moonshine Mash: Watermelon-infused moonshine, fresh watermelon, lime juice and simple syrup.

I wanted to try this, but I was having some indigestion that night. I think Becky might have tried it though.

.I prefer 50's Prime Time fried chicken over Homecoming. There I said it...:duck:

Now I have to try the 50's Prime Time fried chicken...

I'll try the Art's Famous Fried Chicken which comes with cheddar drop biscuits and the same mashed potatoes.

It's a huge dish! I had it once and only finished half the chicken.

First we walked over to Jock Lindsey's to stop by and say hi to @Raeven, her bf Josh, and little did I know it at the time, @xlsm too!!!

Yay dismeets :wave2:

They were seated in the back of the bar so we went to say hi. We chatted for a bit and asked where they were drinking and they told us about how they got into some trouble for moving seats  #troublemakers

:rotfl:

Since I had been looking for BB-8 cup last year, I knew they would sell them at the same place...The kiosk right in front of the Hollwoood Studios Arch which leads to Launch Bay. And yes, they had the Baby Groot cup so I got one with coke, which I don't really like to drink but will drink in a pinch.

I'm so glad you knew where to go! I would've had no idea.

However it was a much less wait than 45 mins as people realized it was time for Fantasmic, so about half the people left as I was on line. I moved up half the line in only 10 minutes. Pretty soon, we were near the front, and before you knew it, we were front and center with Baby Groot

We were surprised the waits for Starlord and Groot weren't too long either time we went.

It's funny though that Steve saw him working out at the Boardwalk gym the next day. You know, gotta get ripped, and he has a looooong way to go. Hahaha.
Groot was cute, he moves and dances.

:rotfl:

Right after, we checked out the wait times for Toy Story....and there was NONE, there was no need for fast pass either. We walked on THREE times. I'm not kidding, it was amazing!!!

We also walked on it another day. HS was really low crowds when we went.

Well only a BEST DAY EVER. There are only two more day sleft for our trip, and one of the will HAVE to be a best day ever right?

Unless you're tricking us and you've already told us about the BEST DAY EVER :scratchin

Your BW pictures are beautiful!
I like the Lion King shirt and of course the SW shirt
I have to remember that we don't need to order a meal at AMC Dine In popcorn and drinks sounds perfect.
We have Homecoming booked for November after reading everyone's reviews we can't wait.
Glad you were able to meet up with @Raeven and @xism at Jocks.
I Love the Baby Groot cup I hope they still have them in November.
I see what you mean about your Starlord he needs to pump it up :rotfl:
Wow walk on 3 times for Toy Story :thumbsup2

You're having such fun, I cannot imagine what will happen to constitute the best day EVER. I don't want your report to end but I can't wait to find out!!

My favorite artist, Jarrod Maruyama had his awesome art front and center.

He's my favorite too! He did a gorgeous Donald and Daisy painting I have on the wall in my bedroom.

I seriously need this cup.

I feel like this is a problem with a lot of male characters in general, but also definitely the live-action characters. For some reason Disney cannot hire proportionally and I don't know if it's a limited male pool to choose from in Entertainment or what but there are just certain characters that are never right lol.

It was a gorgeous day!

So beautiful!!

I made a Bee-line to my favorite stores, the Marketplace Co-Op and Tren-D. I wanted to see the new dresses at Cherry Tree Lane which is part of the co-op but they had sold out of many things. I only saw a few skirts and some non-exciting dresses.

That's a shame. I meant to check them out in May too, but now maybe it's for the best that we didn't make time. Maybe August will bring new stock with it!

Well, I'll tell you:

1) The Simba lace tank
3) The grey Minnie glasses tank
4) The Star Wars tank, of course.

Excellent choices! Theses were my favourites you tried on I think.

I headed back over to the other side of Disney Springs to where the AMC theater was and met DH there. The theater is one of those stadium seating and a table in every row. It was quite spacious but the seats don't fully recline. They do have a slight give so you can lean back if desired.

This is so neat! I wondered what the setup in here would look like.

It was definitely huge and quite tasty. The doughnuts were a little greasy though but maybe it's because everything is so...fried. Haha. The mashed potatoes I thought were delicious. I also detected a faint taste of some herb in the chicken. It wasn't bad it was just unexpected. Which leads me to this thought...I prefer 50's Prime Time fried chicken over Homecoming. There I said it...:duck:
There's just something really homey and comforting about the fried chicken at 50's Prime Time, there's no fussy herbs, and the coating was perfectly crisp. Don't get me wrong, Homecoming's was really good I just preferred 50's prime time a little more. However I would be glad to have Homecoming's fried chicken again and next time I'll try the Art's Famous Fried Chicken which comes with cheddar drop biscuits and the same mashed potatoes.

Yum! Fried things! :) Interesting to know you prefer 50's Prime Time though. We've still never been since we don't spend a lot of time eating at DHS, but I'll have to give it a try sometime. I'm sure Nathan would love the fried chicken there.

First we walked over to Jock Lindsey's to stop by and say hi to @Raeven, her bf Josh, and little did I know it at the time, @xlsm too!!!
They were seated in the back of the bar so we went to say hi. We chatted for a bit and asked where they were drinking and they told us about how they got into some trouble for moving seats  #troublemakers

This is hilarious! What rule breakers! So nice you got in your Dismeet, no matter how brief.

Hahaha.
Groot was cute, he moves and dances.

Your Star Lord! So skinny! Hahah But I find that while his body type is totally not right, this picture where you see him in profile...

...makes his face look more like the real Star Lord than the one @Raeven and Josh met.

Right after, we checked out the wait times for Toy Story....and there was NONE, there was no need for fast pass either. We walked on THREE times. I'm not kidding, it was amazing!!!

Unheard of!! Awesome!!

Well only a BEST DAY EVER. There are only two more day sleft for our trip, and one of the will HAVE to be a best day ever right?

No way! It gets even better? How is this possible!? Can't wait to find out. :)

That's my favorite weather!

The weather was amazing in early May. Two weeks later, not so much.

Beach Club has always confused me - people say it's based on Cape Cod hotels but we don't really have many fancy hotels like that out there (maybe Cape Anne, but not Cape Cod)...I think official word is that it's based on 20th century Newport construction....but then you have Cape May Cafe which is not even part of New England at all? I think they just need to admit the theme is "fancy beach house" and be good lol.

I know, I was wondering what the actual theme was but I guess it's just a myriad of beach houses all combined into one. It's like a bit of Bermuda, Bahamas, Jersey Shore, Cape Cod, Florida...I guess anywhere with a beach!

A - this is a really nice picture of you both
B - I really love your DH's shirt.

Thank you so much!!
I do like that shirt. I picked it for him! I got it from Amazon.

We did that too. I thought it was cool you could pick your actual seats. You can't do that at any theaters around here, but I don't think we have any AMC's.

Oh that's so funny as all we have are mostly AMC theaters. I also really like iPic, which is super fancy with reclining seats and waiter service. You also get popcorn, a pillow, and blanked included.

it a lot! The lace makes it look kind of elegant. I don't think you look too chesty in it.

I hope so! I will try it out in August. I do love the lace.

I do too. September is my last chance to use the discount :rotfl: I better make it count.

Haha yes, basically buy everything you want and return later before it's too late.

I wanted to try this, but I was having some indigestion that night. I think Becky might have tried it though.

It was good, I liked it!

Now I have to try the 50's Prime Time fried chicken...

Super yummy!

It's a huge dish! I had it once and only finished half the chicken.

I finished everything except for some mashed potatoes and a piece of chicken but I took that back with us and ate it that night.

Yay dismeets :wave2:

I forgot to grab a picture of us! That would be so funny if I had a picture of @xlsm before we officially met on the DISboards.

I'm so glad you knew where to go! I would've had no idea.

I sorta winged it and I was right! Glad you got your cup too!

We were surprised the waits for Starlord and Groot weren't too long either time we went.

We were lucky that people left otherwise it would have been much longer.

We also walked on it another day. HS was really low crowds when we went.

Yeah it was great!!

Unless you're tricking us and you've already told us about the BEST DAY EVER :scratchin

Haha, you've already seen my Best Day Ever on Instagram...

Your BW pictures are beautiful!

Thanks! It was a beautiful day!

I like the Lion King shirt and of course the SW shirt

I like them too! :)

You're having such fun, I cannot imagine what will happen to constitute the best day EVER. I don't want your report to end but I can't wait to find out!!

He he you will find out soon enough! It was a great trip and I will always remember it for the BEST DAY EVER!

He's my favorite too! He did a gorgeous Donald and Daisy painting I have on the wall in my bedroom.

Oooh I love that one, I gave it to my best friend for her birthday. But now I'm thinking I shoulda got one for myself.

I seriously need this cup.

It's awesome! Sits next to my BB-8 cup!

I feel like this is a problem with a lot of male characters in general, but also definitely the live-action characters. For some reason Disney cannot hire proportionally and I don't know if it's a limited male pool to choose from in Entertainment or what but there are just certain characters that are never right lol.

Yeah it's tough to find someone that looks like the actor. I understand that, but there must be SOME guy, any guy who could fill out the outfit more. I mean the guy was swimming in the leather jacket, and the belt barely held his pants up, that's probably why he kept posing with his hands on his belt, haha.

So beautiful!!

It was a gorgeous day!

That's a shame. I meant to check them out in May too, but now maybe it's for the best that we didn't make time. Maybe August will bring new stock with it!

I hope so! The dresses looked so cute!

Excellent choices! Theses were my favourites you tried on I think.

Thank you! Tren D is my favorite store for Disney wearbles!

This is so neat! I wondered what the setup in here would look like.

It's pretty cool but will be better with reclining chairs, haha.

Yum! Fried things! :) Interesting to know you prefer 50's Prime Time though. We've still never been since we don't spend a lot of time eating at DHS, but I'll have to give it a try sometime. I'm sure Nathan would love the fried chicken there.

I think he would too :) I just thought it was really yummy fried chicken without all the bells and whistles.

This is hilarious! What rule breakers! So nice you got in your Dismeet, no matter how brief.

Yes it was fortunate we got to meet that one day!

Your Star Lord! So skinny! Hahah But I find that while his body type is totally not right, this picture where you see him in profile

...makes his face look more like the real Star Lord than the one @Raeven and Josh met.[/QUOTE]

Yes I agree with you too. He got the face but not the bod...

No way! It gets even better? How is this possible!? Can't wait to find out. :)

Teehee...

I love how all the resorts now have the bus wait times.

Me too! Even if the time changes at least it's giving you some kind of idea about when a bus will come instead of the plain old waiting game from before!

I saved 20% with the AP discount. I love that thing.

Same. I am so sad it's not going to be 20% anymore for October's trip

My favorite artist, Jarrod Maruyama

Again, me too! My phone case is his work - I printed it at DTech in California last summer!! It needs to be replaced, but it's so cute (and has my name on it!) I don't want to give it up!

On the right you have mine, the Moonshine Mash: Watermelon-infused moonshine, fresh watermelon, lime juice and simple syrup.

This sounds really good! I loved the watermelon slushy thing at Flower and Garden, so now, even though I am not a huge fan of eating watermelon by itself, I am now obsessed with drinks made with the fresh juice.

I'm so sad we didn't know this before...but now if we meet up again it will be more fun!! We can all move chairs again and have a troublemaking party, LOL!

The rest of his family members including his wife looked at me and said, "We don't know him."
Then the Dad told me that all he's useful for is being an ATM machine.
All their kids roll their eyes.

:rotfl:Poor guy!

I. AM. GROOT. CUP.

This really is the cutest cup!

Stay tuned....Bon Voyage Breakfast at the Boardwalk!

I'm looking forward to hearing about this! I want to do this meal at some point, but only if we're staying in that area again, or if it's a later breakfast after an Epcot morning. I love Flynn Rider!

I love the tops you bought! You find the cutest stuff!

Glad you enjoyed your meal at Homecoming. Honestly, with the selection of great restaurants at Disney Springs, I think it will be a while before we dine there.

I'm not a big Star Wars fan, but I want that adorable Baby Groot cup. What a fun meet, too!

Three times on TSMM?! That's unheard of!

SW Fireworks is a great way to end a day. What can top the past two days?

We didn't have to wait too long and soon we were headed to DS! It's been more than a year since I was last here. We did not go during our December or February trips. There was just no time. Now the renovations are pretty much done and there were all these areas I had not seen before.

I am excited to see this again too! Have not seen this since October 2015! I'm sure it will be a lot different!

4) The Star Wars tank, of course.

I love this!!

but I did have my trusty popcorn bucket!

Could you refill this at the movie? That movie theatre is really cool. I have been to the ipic but they don't have the big tables like that...though they do have pillows and blankets lol

he Moonshine Mash: Watermelon-infused moonshine, fresh watermelon, lime juice and simple syrup.

That looks really good.

I prefer 50's Prime Time fried chicken over Homecoming's.

Good to know because that is what I'm getting when I go to Prime Time lol. But sorry it was a bit disappointing at Homecoming.

Right after, we checked out the wait times for Toy Story....and there was NONE,

What??? Does that ever happen? I hope that happens for us too...I'd miss Fantasmic for a few extra rides on this...if it means more than once chance to ride on our whole trip lol

Hi Dee! I'm sorry I have also been behind on your trip reports. I'm so sorry about your friend who passed away. I hope her friends and family are doing well.

Thank you. I appreciate your kind thoughts.

It's usually less than 200. If you stay at one of the airport hotels that you have to take a shuttle to, it is much cheaper, but nothing will beat the convenience of staying at the airport itself. Steve and I both have the Hyatt credit card so we sometimes use points, but we also get an annual free night every year at select properties and the Hyatt Orlando Airport is included. Technically we pay a 75 dollar annual fee but that itself is saving more than half of the nightly fee so it's worth it for us. :) I found this plan works for us as we can get a good nights rest and get up early for our first day in the parks. I find that even if we take the first flight out of Newark, at around 7am the earliest we can make it to a park is probably around 10am, and by then we'd have been up for hours already and probably won't last the whole day. :)

Sounds like a super way to start your trip. Thanks so much for sharing the info.

::yes::

"So, Dee, do you Netflix?

Nah, I just Binge Read Chunky Monkey's trip reports.

I just finished Season- I mean Day- One!"

That is great that there was nobody in the Magical Express area- wow, one extreme or the other for you! Glad you got front seats and an awesome arch photo.

I have never been to EPCOT during the Flower & Garden festival. It is sooooo pretty! I also love that you are right in the topiary scenes with the Photopass pictures.

Yum- the shrimp and grits looked really great. So good in fact that I planned to make it for dinner tonight.

I laughed out loud at the "Help Us Mulan! You are our only hope"

Wow, those butterflies on the sidewalk are awesome! Love the photopass picture there.

I am hearing some pretty good stuff about the Park-to-Park express buses. Especially good to know since I have been hearing that the bag checks at the parks have been insane!

What a spectacular view at Ohana. I have to give it another shot sometime. Everything looked good and I'm glad you found some of the items were better this time around. I didn't know you could get the bread pudding at the Tambu lounge. Good info!

What a super night at MK, with the magical meetups. More great photopass opportunities, with the Liberty Belle at Big Thunder and the lanterns near the Tangled Tinkle Spot.

Perfect spot for Wishes!!!

:woohoo:

Haha yes he does look a little scrawny, not all Pratt-i-fied at all; too funny your dh saw him working out the next day :teeth:

Oh gosh that cup is adorable....wee baby groot, too cute. Yay for catching the fireworks again at the end.

So wait....Best. Day. Ever is still to come?? :flower1::rolleyes1

Oh and also I thought you were going to choose all the tops you tried on :cutie: they all looked really great on you!

I really like the look of the new Disney Springs. Can spend alot of time there walking around and eating :) Tried Homecoming at the end of May--it was good but rich.

Love that Lion King top-- had my eye on it when it was on Disney Store site but didn't pull the trigger in time before it disappeared.

Your Starlord visit was fun--have to say the Starlord I met did have better size proportions. However I am not ashamed to say--its all about Groot!

On a side note, are you planning a December trip?

I was a couple updates behind, and I'm commenting from my phone so I hope that I can remember everything I wanted to comment about.

When i was there, I didn't see the booth where you got the scallop from. That one looked very good to me!

I was amused by the shots of you in the dressing room. I'm not sure if I've ever tried on clothes at Disney before buying them, except for my Haunted Mansion dress. That could be why the Mickey shirt I'm wearing today is so ill fitting.

I've never eaten at a theater with tables and serves food (other than a concession stand). Sounds interesting. I also like being able to reserve seats in the theater. GotG2 was great! Good that you got to see it on the first day!

We ate at Homecoming once as well, and I can agree with you that I prefer 50s Prime Time too.

Meeting Starlord seems a little strange. I prefer cartoon characters. Groot (not baby) has been meeting outside the rethemed ride at DCA, but his line is awful long and it's been really hot here, so waiting in the sun isn't an option I want to take. Nice that everyone left the line for F!

It's probably my new favorite time to go...low crowds, beautiful weather...and most importantly, May the 4th!!!!!!!!!
YES YES YES!!! :hyper:

Here's a little fashion parade
I think NY Fashion Week is your next logical step! :thumbsup2

4) The Star Wars tank, of course.
Of course!

The theater is one of those stadium seating settings and has a table in every row.
How cool!

I prefer 50's Prime Time fried chicken over Homecoming's.
YAY! I mean, I'm sorry for you that Homecoming's didn't blow your mind as much as 50s, but selfishly quite pleased about this as I'll be eating the glorious fried chicken at 50s soon! :thumbsup2:rotfl:

First we walked over to Jock Lindsey's to stop by and say hi to @Raeven, her bf Josh, and little did I know it at the time, @xlsm too!!!
Yay!!! I remember the "getting in trouble" story from their TRs!

I love it when families get this cute.
Me, too :goodvibes

It's funny though that Steve saw him working out at the Boardwalk gym the next day.
:rotfl:

Right after, we checked out the wait times for Toy Story....and there was NONE, there was no need for fast pass either. We walked on THREE times. I'm not kidding, it was amazing! This never happens for us!
Wow!!! :thumbsup2

I can hardly wait to see what could top these two days!!!

Oh that's so funny as all we have are mostly AMC theaters. I also really like iPic, which is super fancy with reclining seats and waiter service. You also get popcorn, a pillow, and blanked included.

Um what?! I have never been to a movie theater than fancy! I thought the recently redone theater nearby with slightly more comfortable chairs was fancy. :rotfl:

It was good, I liked it!

I think I'll order this next time.

I finished everything except for some mashed potatoes and a piece of chicken but I took that back with us and ate it that night.

Oh that's right you've had it before.

I forgot to grab a picture of us! That would be so funny if I had a picture of @xlsm before we officially met on the DISboards.

That would've been funny :rotfl:

I sorta winged it and I was right! Glad you got your cup too!
:thumbsup2

We were lucky that people left otherwise it would have been much longer.

Yeah we sat down for a minute outside and it jumped from 45 to 20 so we jumped in line and a ton of people came running in behind us.

Yeah it was great!!

I think ours was due to the farewell to Wishes. It was the last night when we went to HS.

Haha, you've already seen my Best Day Ever on Instagram...

Oh wow I feel so forgetful :rotfl: I forgot all about that until you said.

I liked the Under Armor store's Hulk.
I likey

I wanted to see the new dresses at Cherry Tree Lane which is part of the co-op but they had sold out of many things. I only saw a few skirts and some non-exciting dresses.
Bummer their sold out of the best ones. I wondered if they are going to restock them or change them up for the seasons. I want to check it out in December.

1) The Simba lace tank
3) The grey Minnie glasses tank
4) The Star Wars tank, of course
I like them all

The theater is one of those stadium seating settings and has a table in every row.
Too cool I've never been to a movie that served meals. Of course I don't think I've been to a theater since 2011.

That looks seriosly good but is that powdered sugar on the CHX. Yuck

First we walked over to Jock Lindsey's to stop by and say hi to @Raeven, her bf Josh, and little did I know it at the time, @xlsm too!!!
YAY for Dis meets and surprise guests.

Same. I am so sad it's not going to be 20% anymore for October's trip

Just means...time to renew those APs?

Again, me too! My phone case is his work - I printed it at DTech in California last summer!! It needs to be replaced, but it's so cute (and has my name on it!) I don't want to give it up!

Oh that's sooo cool! Which design do you have? I have thought about getting a case like that. Just too cute!

This sounds really good! I loved the watermelon slushy thing at Flower and Garden, so now, even though I am not a huge fan of eating watermelon by itself, I am now obsessed with drinks made with the fresh juice.

It was good and not too sweet. I wouldn't mind just stopping for drinks at Homecoming even if we're not hungry.

I'm so sad we didn't know this before...but now if we meet up again it will be more fun!! We can all move chairs again and have a troublemaking party, LOL!

YES! Troublemaker party! We should set up a little DISBoard ladies trip sometime in the future. The DIS-LADIES take over WDW!

I'm looking forward to hearing about this! I want to do this meal at some point, but only if we're staying in that area again, or if it's a later breakfast after an Epcot morning. I love Flynn Rider!

It's a pain to get to if you're not staying in that area for sure. A later breakfast would work. These reservations are hard to get! I couldn't find one for any of our upcoming trips. Flynn Rider was very cool.

I love the tops you bought! You find the cutest stuff!

Thank you! Disney makes it way to easy to buy cute clothes.

Glad you enjoyed your meal at Homecoming. Honestly, with the selection of great restaurants at Disney Springs, I think it will be a while before we dine there.

Same, I'm always eating in the parks or resorts more often, mostly for the convenience sake. But DS has such good restaurants now that it's hard to stay away.

Three times on TSMM?! That's unheard of!

Crazy, right? We were actually running over to TSM and the CM there said, slow down, take your time, there's no wait! Haha.

SW Fireworks is a great way to end a day. What can top the past two days?

Only an even better day!

I am excited to see this again too! Have not seen this since October 2015! I'm sure it will be a lot different!

It's completely different and much bigger!

Good to know because that is what I'm getting when I go to Prime Time lol. But sorry it was a bit disappointing at Homecoming.

Homecoming was good but their fried chicken was not as good as 50's. Their mashed potatoes were better though. So buttery and creamy...mmmm.

Could you refill this at the movie? That movie theatre is really cool. I have been to the ipic but they don't have the big tables like that...though they do have pillows and blankets lol

No but I refill it each time I leave the park. That things follows me everywhere now haha.

What??? Does that ever happen? I hope that happens for us too...I'd miss Fantasmic for a few extra rides on this...if it means more than once chance to ride on our whole trip lol

I think you will get the chance to ride TSM more than once during the trip. From what I understand, FL and CA schools are in session so I think (hope) the crowds will lessen during that time, although not quite as good as early May!

"So, Dee, do you Netflix?

Nah, I just Binge Read Chunky Monkey's trip reports.

I just finished Season- I mean Day- One!"

Glad you are part of the subscription service I'm offering, for free too! :)

That is great that there was nobody in the Magical Express area- wow, one extreme or the other for you! Glad you got front seats and an awesome arch photo.

Thank you, it was such a change from February. That kinda traumatized us.

I have never been to EPCOT during the Flower & Garden festival. It is sooooo pretty! I also love that you are right in the topiary scenes with the Photopass pictures.

It's gorgeous. It's definitely a great time of year to go.

Yum- the shrimp and grits looked really great. So good in fact that I planned to make it for dinner tonight.

Oooh yours is probably even better!

I am hearing some pretty good stuff about the Park-to-Park express buses. Especially good to know since I have been hearing that the bag checks at the parks have been insane!

I love this. I don't think I can go down there without getting it now.

What a spectacular view at Ohana. I have to give it another shot sometime. Everything looked good and I'm glad you found some of the items were better this time around. I didn't know you could get the bread pudding at the Tambu lounge. Good info!

It was great. Ohana is always a staple in our book. Although sometimes they are inconsistent. the bread pudding kinda saves the day always. And I found out from another DIS-er that you can get it at Tambu Lounge so there's no need to even eat a meal at Ohana anymore!

What a super night at MK, with the magical meetups. More great photopass opportunities, with the Liberty Belle at Big Thunder and the lanterns near the Tangled Tinkle Spot.

Perfect spot for Wishes!!!

:woohoo:

It was a wonderful night! I can't imagine a better spot for our last viewing of Wishes.

Haha yes he does look a little scrawny, not all Pratt-i-fied at all; too funny your dh saw him working out the next day :teeth:

Yeah definitely not Pratt-ly enough. I think they were testing out actors as I've seen a bunch of different Star Lords within the first few weeks. They must have put them up at the Disney resorts closest to DHS. How nice for them though!

Oh gosh that cup is adorable....wee baby groot, too cute. Yay for catching the fireworks again at the end.

Love that cup! It was a great and successful night!

So wait....Best. Day. Ever is still to come?? :flower1::rolleyes1

Yup... :)

Oh and also I thought you were going to choose all the tops you tried on :cutie: they all looked really great on you!

Thank you! Haha I wanted to but I need to save them to buy on another trip. Although I'll probably find other stuff to buy as well.
