What is the story of your best experience with a disney employee?

Personally mine was a simple encounter with a man watching the rope after entrance into the park to minimize crowds. We had a simple conversation but he was so sincere and thoughtful. He started by asking about our home town and long story short he asked us what snow was like considering we live up north and he had never seen snow. It was great to see his face light up as we described it the best we could lol. Part of the reason I keep going back to disney is the employees and on this particular occasion I was happy I could return the favor. I hope I have the opportunity to be in his shoes one day.

I have so many happy memories and cast members that were so wonderful but a highlight was when my daughter was up to meet with Chip and Dale, the time they put into their interaction with our daughter meant the world to us. She had a magic wand and a pirate sword from our breakfast in Cinderella's castle and they took them from her and they were fencing and being silly - they didn't just rush through the line of kids. I was off to the side with my camera with tears in my eyes and blindsided by the Disney magic. For any cast members reading this, I'm sure you deal with some bozos but I hope the people that appreciate your efforts outnumber them. At the end of our trip, our daughter's lanyard was FULL of Chip and Dale pins.

So far, mine must be the tour of the car and horse barn on main st WDW. It was our meeting place and began to talk to one of the cast members. I asked and they let me in.

I would have to say my most memorable experience came during our first Family trip to WDW. My DH and I had been to WDW before (me many times!!!) but it had been a number of years since our last vist. We were unable to travel with our youngest DD for 7 years as she had a siezure disorder and we were not recommended to travel with her. Finally in 2008 our eldest DD was going to be going to WDW with her dance team to perform in Magic Kingdom!! Our youngest DD's seizures had been under control for about a year thanks to meds and we were able to get permission from her doctor to take her on the trip. We were excited but a little nervous because the trip was planned for August and heat is a trigger for our DD's seizures. The big day came and we were at MK (in an open air theatre :scared1: ) waiting for our DD's dance team to start their show. It was an EXTREMELY hot morning and my DH stayed indoors with the youngest as long as possible. When they started to announce the show he and DD took their seats...they weren't there 3 min when DD had a seizure! We managed to deal with the situation and still see the show but immediately after we had to get DD back to the hotel...all she wants to do after a seizure is SLEEP! We borrowed a stroller (one of the rented Disney ones) from one of the other dance families and headed to the bus for DH and DD to go back to the hotel. We got to the park exit and realized that we wouldn't be able to take the stroller out of the park and of course our bus was at the furthest stop from the gates! I decided to go ask one of the CM's if we could take the stroller (DD was a little heavy to carry all the way!!) and I would bring it back once DH and DD were on the bus. She agreed but escorted us to the bus...at first I was a little put out by this but she ended up being wonderful. She talked to us and DD the whole time telling stories and explaining little things about working at WDW. When we were at the stop waiting for the bus there were a number of ducks around and my DD was totally enthralled by them. The CM noticed her reacation and from somewhere in a pouch she had on her belt, pulled out a little rubber duck bath toy and gave it to my DD. My DD was thrilled...it was her own little ducky friend! She used it in the bath tub for a couple of years after that...until the poor little thing just couldn't handle another bath with DD. Every trip back to WDW since, our DD has had to visit her "Ducky Friends" that seem to always be around the WDW bus stops. It's amazing how such a little thing can make such a memory!!!

An awesome experience I had was when I was turning nine during our visit to WDW. I was really hoping to see Tinker Bell fly over the castle during Wishes, but the weather was looking really ominous. So I asked a cm if Tinker Bell would fly over the castle that night, and she told me she was going to ask Tinker Bell and would be right back. So after 5-10 minutes she returned and told me that Tinker Bell was too scared to fly that night because it looked like it might storm, but Tinker Bell wanted to give me something. So she handed me a Tinker Bell pin! I was so thrilled, because Tinker Bell personally wanted to give me the pin. That cm just made my trip so memorable, and I really appreciate her kindness!
